All in all, I can’t say enough about how wonderful the Bayshore teams were, how coordinated their efforts were and how thankful I was that of the whole planning / packing / implementing stages, that I NEVER HAD CONCERN OVER MY MOVERS. That in itself was a blessing that you simply cannot replace. My recommendation to anyone considering BAYSHORE is that they were perfect. I was also very impressed how the guys got a couch into an upstairs bonus room, *maybe* they had 1/32” to work with to get it in, but they got it, just took some serious maneuvering to get it in there, I think I’d have to chop it up to get it out. All in all, I’d give them a 10/10 for everything. Pricing was under the quote but in line with all other shippers of my final choices. Service was professional and courteous all the way through Attention to detail and care for my *stuff* was very clear and always present. So how much did we lose in damages? - We just finished unpacking this past weekend, total losses were 1 wine glass, 1 pre-lit xmas tree for the front porch, and a ding on my top of my entertainment center at the back that nobody will see anyway. No crushed boxes, no furniture scratches, nothing else bad happened, and no wall dings in the new house. I only had two complaints which I reviewed with the after the move follow up call (one of a few I received). The complaints, however, were very small. I would CERTAINLY RECOMMEND BAYSHORE AS A MOVER TO ANYONE!!!!! The positives 1000% outweigh the few blemishes, which again aren’t a big deal, but I’m writing this whole experience and wanted to paint a true picture, it was as good and better than I could have hoped for, and that to me was worth it more than anything else at all! We had a terrible experience with Bayshore. They underestimated our goods (even though we got rid of a lot of stuff after the estimate) and we had to move across the world without our couch, recliner, outdoor furniture setting and umbrella. Those are all things that we now have to replace in an extremely expensive country. We also didnt have time to sell our old stuff since we didnt know until they packed us up. The packing was also unimpressive. We had a plastic lid to a Tupperware container wrapped in THREE sheets of packing paper. So many things were over-wrapped and took up far more space than they needed to. And on the other end of the spectrum, we had chairs that were stacked together and didnt even have a piece of paper between them. They arrived chipped and scratched after rubbing against each other for three months. We didnt get responses to emails or phone calls, phone calls that were promised never came, and no one was forthcoming with information. We werent told about a tracking system for the shipment until after our goods were meant to arrive (and we asked if they had one), we werent told how to file an insurance claim until we asked, we werent told that our shipment had been delayed and wasnt going to arrive before Christmas (as they had estimated) until we asked. The communication was horrible. I also sent them an email after the whole process was over telling them everything that had gone wrong with our move and how disappointed I was with their service. A good response to that with an apology would have gone a long way to make me feel better about the situation. Not only did I not get a good response, but no one responded at all. This move cost us $10,000. It was a HUGE deal for us and a very stressful time. Bayshore Transportation made it so much more stressful.

We moved from New Jersey to Indiana and our last move was 30+ years ago. I got quotes from four moving companies and selected Bayshore and I am very happy with that choice. The Representative outlined exactly what would happen and in what time lines, he also gave me some materials that proved to be a big help along with many good tips based on his experience. I negotiated the amount of moving boxes they would provide to me and wound up using literally every box. I had good communications with the driver, he was on time for the pickup AND for the delivery in Indiana and supervised the process to assure that our furniture and household goods got here unscathed. The ONLY broken item was a lamp globe that I had packaged myself. When it turned out that the truck they sent wasnt large enough for some of my bulkier items (patio table and chairs, picnic table, 3 large ladders,etc) a call to Bayshore s Relocation Coordinator caused them to make quick arrangements for a second truck - which arrived within hours - and that delivery was handled as smoothly as was the first. Everyone that I dealt with at Bayshore was positive, respectful and professional. My belongings were moved 700+ miles without damage, and I have NO complaints.

We used Bayshore to move us from Delaware to PA in May of this year. Our goods were stored for 2 wks. at their facility. We have moved multiple times and this was, by far, the best movers and service we have ever had. Nothing was damaged..everything was carefully packed and furniture was wrapped also in plastic. They also unwrapped everything and placed the furniture, etc....and removed all packing materials. REALY liked the movers themselves. Would not hesitate to recommend this company or use them again!!!

These guys were awesome. They picked up in MD and delivered our whole house to NC. The Customer Service called several times before, during and after to make sure everything was going as planned and to answer any questions. The movers were very courteous and VERY careful packing our items. They were on time and left my home on both ends clean and tidy. The delivery was made by the same forman that picked up the items. All were a pleasure to have moving for us.

The estimator was friendly as well as thorough. The pack and load team were efficient and nice to work with. They showed pride in their work and genuinely cared about out belongings. The unloading team was equally nice to work with and were eager to please. The driver/team leader was a great facilitator, showed experience and was a good communicator.
