0 stars. Horrid customer service. You walk in. A woman behind the desk asks you what you would like. You relpy, "a haircut." The woman informs you that your name will be on a waiting list. You think to yourself..not a problem. Here is where I offer you a word of caution: Do not DARE inquire as to roughly how long she may think the wait will be. You will be swiftly met with attitude and callousness. You will be cut off midsentence, and have an immediate feeling that neither you, or your hard earned money is worthy of such an establishment. (If you ARENT like me, maybe you feel oddly empowered that not only you..but also your seemingly innocent question could possibly ignite such a strong, negative, unprofessional reaction from a complete stranger. You may relish in your new found power and DARE ask the very same question the next time a restaurant or any business for that matter puts your name on a waiting list. Making every employee in the field of customer service here in Bradenton go completely out of their way just to answer your question. Purposly giving them a hard time and ruining their day just for your sick satisfaction.) She then states that it will "maybe be thirty minutes, and that you should have made an appointment or you can go elsewhere if you cant wait." That goes without saying. Although, the lack of tact in saying so on her part only further convinces you.. you just need to get out of there. The piece de resistance however, is when you are in fact on your way out and not only hear but see her say how "very rude" you are with a look of disgust on her face. Clearly not caring if you can hear it. Heed my advice friends, save your time and questions for someone who actually cares. I have been known to wait longer than thirty minutes for good services. Good services include good customer service. Im not asking for perfection. Plain ol good is good enough for me. I have also never walked out of a place of business as quickly as I walked in until today. Its a shame. Anyone know of a good hair salon in Bradenton?

I was rushing in and out on that particular day and wasnt there long at all which may have contributed to your impression. I take what you wrote seriously and assure you that all our employees are treated fairly and with respect. In fact, I spend quite a bit of time talking to each of my employees to ensure their happiness and success at our salons and in their personal lives. The ladies are always nice and welcoming to everyone! They give the best haircuts and highlights anywhere! I have been a customer for over 10 years and they are always busy but pleasant. The owner, however is very rude and disrespectful to the employees. She needs to take a class on how to treat other people in the workplace!!! What a shame!

Love Fantastic Sams on Manatee Ave. My favorite hairstylist are Sherrie and Nita, and the other girls are great. I have been to them all. I have never been turned down for a walk in appointment. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the girls are always pleasant. I would highly recommend this shop.

Alfred is amazing!! He has such great talent and really seems to get what looks good. He does my hair as well as my husbands and I definitely wont go to anyone else! Hes taken me from black to blonde and keeps my cut nice as well. Definitely recommend him and his services :-)

Had my hair done by Valerie yesterday, as I got home I noticed something I disliked about my hair so I called her earlier this morning and she took me in today to fix my hair for free! Great experience, definitely going to come back again.

They constantly close early. If your closing time is 4, close at 4! Not 3:40. Im not a fan of rushing to go get my haircut only to find an employee outside smoking a cigarette telling me they are closed. Please.

I have had two stylist cut my hair there and it has been awesome both times great prices if you get a chance go by and give them a chance I did and havent regretted it ever since.

The stylist was lazy or in a hurry, after getting home and styling my hair, very uneven job, and needed to cut my own hair to make up for it. I will not return.
