BUYER BEWARE!! If i could give 0 stars I would. I called and gave a gentleman my year, make, model and asked for an estimate. He said it wouldnt be the $99 dollar special and it would be more like $120 per axle instead for brake pads, turned rotors, and changing brake fluid since the car was not a basic car. After arriving, they put my car up on the rack and brought me out to see the wear for myself which was normal wear for a 2 year old car with 48,000 miles on it. I go back in and have a seat in the waiting room and a slick salesman (dress pants, dress shoes, polo, slicked back hair) came back in the waiting room, which I have not seen up to this point, and asked if I was ready for my bill. I said what bill, I only asked for an estimate. The "bill" came out to $1181 which included brakes, pads and rotors all the way around. I said that this price is higher than what I was quoted from the dealer and something isnt right here. I said that wasnt what I was quoted over the phone and that I just wasted an hour of my time. He said that he never talked to me on the phone and that I wasted an hour of his time too and that I have no right to be upset. At this point, the conversation was well over heated. The slick salesman stated that he can put 30 dollar pads on the car and send me on my way but he didnt think I wanted 30 dollar pads. I stated that I gave "somebody" my year, make, model over the phone and you were willing to put 30 dollar pads on it then now werent you. I told the salesman to put my tires back on my car and that I would never come back. The salesman and I were steaming at this point. Luckily, there were no customers in the shop (imagine that)! I went outside to make sure that my car wasnt tampered with as he got in and backed the car out of the garage. I will never do business with this company due to shady bait and switch sales techniques. I see that this company has an issue with this as there are numerous other reviews out there that state the same thing. This company needs to change how it does business or it needs to be shut down. I have already reported this company to the better business bureau. I would also like to add that I went and had the same job done elsewhere for less than half the price!

UNETHICAL & IRRESPONSIBLE!! Attempted to sell me over $1,000 of parts that I did not need. On Nov 20th of 2010, I contacted Just Brakes(JB) to correct a grinding sound of my rear passenger brake. The service representative Joe Hamilton treated me as if i was a complete moron & talked down to be because I am a woman. The service techs Edwin Vasquez & Sky Mathos attempted to sell me additional parts that were unneeded such as four brand new calipers & rotors for my vehicle. Unbeknown to me, my vehicle came factory equipped with Ceramix brake pads. JB did not inform me of this & proceeded to replace my brake pads with inferior pads that were metallic, thus causing a dreadful screeching sound when I attempted to stop my vehicle. Before leaving on Nov 20, Joe informed me that "new brakes are just like a new pair of shoes, it takes a few days to break them in" (he used a gender bias metaphor rather than explaining that it may take a few miles of driving before the pads stop squeaking.)JB changed all four of my brake pads & ground or turned the rear rotor. I paid $166 for their services; however they attempted to sell me more than $1,000 of unnecessary items. A month later I returned to JB to complain that my brakes were still making the awful sound that they made the day I left after my brake pads were replaced. Again, my truck was hoisted & JB concluded that the brakes were STILL making the noise due to the fact that I did not accept the repairs that they previously suggested such as new calipers & rotors which cost over $1,000. I would not accept this answer seeing as when I first contacted JB to replace my brake pads they did not squeak, the rear brake was grinding. I simply wanted them to fix the noise. I was treated poorly & shoved out the door with a sorry if you will not take our suggestions than you can leave. So indeed, I left. I consulted another repair shop & learned that JB had not only replaced my pads with an inferior part but I had missing pieces of my brakes & that JB had turned my rotor too far & placed it back on my vehicle under the legal limitations!! AWFUL BUSINESS, UNETHICAL, & INCOMPETENT!

Update: So my review is going from 5* to 1*....this place was my go to spot! It was so amazing when i moved here from Miami. They gained my trust! I know quite a bit about cars and could do quite a bit of work myself, but I am shooting a tv series in this area and just dont have the time, so i go this time and see no one i recognize (seems like they got a whole new staff and the front desk guy wasnt even wearing the uniform). I told them i have a simple problem with my AC because it seems like it just went out, but it was still engaging just not blowing so they told me it was $24 diagnostic fee, which Im never charged, but i thought well ok i guess so? So they come back about and hour or two later and tell me its the lower blower motor resistor and the lower blower motor fan and that would be $508. Now i have gotten over $500 worth of work done there before and trust me money is not an issue at all for me! I have an issue with someone trying to play me, especially when it comes to business! So i know that both of those parts come out to about $75 total and take about 30min to complete the job for both of those things....sooo why am i paying $425 in labor for that? So i paid the $24 and decided to just diagnose my own car and fix it even though my time is limited...and turns out it was neither of those parts. It was my hvac control panel so i ordered a new one and popped it in and only took about 15min and my AC works better than before. They were going to do all that work and it wouldnt have solved the problem! I already stopped my family from going this weekend and i suggest you skip out aswell also!

I went to take my xterra to get the ac fixed and this really skinny, shady guy with brown teeth comes and talks to me. He asks me whats wrong, I tell him my car some times blows cold air but then it stops, kinda like it comes and goes. He does ONE test and says I need some part for it to work, and as soon as he tried explaining why it needed this and that I just got a feeling he was lying and he just had a face that couldnt be trusted. So we go look at this "part" that I need so bad and that supposedly if I take it anywhere else theyll tell me the same thing and it comes out to over 1000 dollars...what a shock that he would tell some BS like that. Then he tries to tell to go to some guy he knows.. Im like dude Im not going to anyone you refer me to you guys probably rip off people together (the place was Goodyear I believe up the street from them). What pissed off was that this guy thinks hes smart and he tries to rip you off but he does a very very poor job at it if you want your ac fixed go to erics ac in plant city the guy is honest and good and he fixed my ac for a like $150. But dont take your car here for anything cause that skinny shady guy with bad teeth who works there and hes Cuban secretary are both liars
