I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at this facility (right up there with dealing with Comcast). My Matrix had the air bag warantee issue (randomly triggers and sends shrapnel into your face). I had three points of contact: Toyota of Bristol (TOB), the airbag recall call center, and Toyota corporate. I would call in to one or more of these contacts and get transferred to TOB for scheduling. Over the course of 4 cycles (about 14 months), each time TOB would tell me the replacement parts were on back order, that I was put on the waiting list, and that they would contact me when the parts came in. Each time after waiting for about 3-4 months, I would call back and ask status. TOB would say they had no record of me contacting them previously and they would restart the process. They assured me that last time was fluke and would assure me I was now "in the system". 4 Times! For a potentially lethal issue (shrapnel to the face). Their advice was to not use my car; no replacement cars offered for factory recall. I filed complaints with Toyota Corporate. They stated that they would contact the Customer Service Mgr. and that I would be contacted within 2 business days by TOB. No Contact. I contacted TOB directly and repeatedly asked to speak with either their CSM or General Mgr. but both declined to speak with me. The service rep looked pretty ashamed (nice guy) after I had described my experience and his Mgr. declined to meet with me. I left my contact information with them to contact me twice to hear my feedback, and left a VM directly, but they declined to contact me. I have had 3 service events at this facility (two warantee and general service/oil change). Actual repair/service work seemed to be generally good. Dash was not fully reinstalled during one warantee event, but service tech quickly fixed problem. Floor personnel are friendly. I will drive 200+ miles to avoid ever dealing with these people ever again. I have driven Toyotas for many years and will likely not be buying one again, principally because of TOB and the hassle of avoiding them.

Worst Experience Ever! I went in on December 19, 2015 to buy my son his first car and my experience with the salesman Jacob and Nick where awesome as well as the financial manager Randy. I have purchased many vehicles while married and this was the first one I purchase as a single mother. After running my credit Randy came over and explained to me what I needed. I left the facility and when I had it worked out came back to purchase the car, but Randy was not there.. From there I was treated disrespectfully, rudely and as if I was a second class citizen by the financial staff. The salesman took all my information down correctly, but when it came to finance they had my address, state and number wrong. Even after all that I finally get to the office only to be talked to by a condescending woman who tried to bully me in to signing for additional warranties all the while on her cell phone texting. When I didnt purchase anything and I quote her, "WELL WHEN YOU GO ONE MILE OVER THATS ON YOU". Really it was at that time I told her had I known that I would get treated like this I would ask for the down payment back. All I was trying to do was get my son a reliable car to go to college. or I would have left. Then I find out that because the woman in finance didnt do her job I had papers to sign and instead of calling my number they harassed my daughter even going so far as to call her and want to know where the car is like Im some low life thief. I made several calls to the dealership manager finally getting him and since have not heard anything.. Sounds about right with this place. I guess if you dont have excellent credit you get treated like crap at this dealership even though youre purchasing a car.I thought everyone was to be treated equally, but not here.

"Toyota of Bristol destroying peoples credit for years! So proud they must be!" Purchased at Toyota of Bristol with the same experience as any other dealership it was good as good can be for buying a car. I actually felt really bad for them because they wanted a good rating on the survey and seemed desperate feeling bad because I know people who get reviews they are always bad so I gave a great review. Fast forward three weeks and my old car payment comes out of my bank account. 23 days to be exact!!!! I called the bank thinking it must be an error and its not. Called the dealership and they are guaranteed by 20 days I believe she said??? Suppose to get the check today she said. Purchased on October 10th and November 3rd my payment came out for my old car! Never have experienced this or heard of this. The lady then told me I should have not had it come out automatically I should have cancelled. SO WHAT THEY COULD TAKE A HIT ON MY CREDIT!! This is the most insane thing I have ever heard and she explained that the paperwork had to go through 3 DESKS THERE!! I am sorry but out of all the other dealerships people have bought off of the THREE DESKS dont take 23 days. WATCH OUT for them. In my experience anyone who begs for a good review there is something wrong!! I just wonder how many people cancelled their car payment coming out and their credit took a hit and had no idea. Pitiful Dealership. I drove 2 hours for this kind of dealership DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU PAY CASH!!!! 23 DAYS!! Can you image purchasing your next Toyota and having two car payments the following month? Think about that when you walk on this lot!

On June 4th of 2012 I bought a used 2009 Volkswagen Touareg. I loved it! And missed it every since I traded it for something smaller because I had to do a lot of unexpected traveling. Ironically, on June 4th 2014 I purchased a 2005 Volkswagen Touareg. I loved this one as well. My issue I had was with the 2005 one I purchased last year. I traded my car in on this Touareg and was very happy about my deal. I got a great price and my payment was excellent. It needed tires, but I had already ordered some by the next day and was looking forward to owning a Touareg again. I had the car for two days and my salesman called me. "We just cant get anything figured out on the Tourage." He was telling me that I needed to bring it back because even after I had signed a contract, switched insurance and everything they magically couldnt get me financed? Days after Ive owned it? He told they would keep trying. I had the car for over a week and still they couldnt figure it out. I ended turning in the car, even after legal help had offered to help me find a solution. I was so upset that I had been put through this. I never understood how I was able to get "financed," have a set car payment, signed my paperwork and know when my first payment was due but then needed to turn to car back in. After I turned it back in they listed it on their website... $5,000 more than what I had paid for it 3-4 days prior. After all of that Ive never had a good thing to say about Toyota of Bristol or how they do business. Ive let several people know what happened to me. I really enjoyed my first experience with them, but the second one ruined it for me.
