Absolute nightmare! If you listen to anything in your life, please listen when I tell you to run fast from this company. DO NOT USE DOLPHIN MOVING SYSTEMS!!!!!!!! It started out as a pleasant experience, as most sales pitches to. Ernie came to our house and filled our heads full of lies. He is an excellent con artist. I say con-artist because salesman implies a certain amount of respectability and this man has none. He will tell you that Dolphin is better because they give you a "quote, not an estimate"(this is a lie. Most respectable moving companies will give you a "not to exceed" price). He will tell you that Dolphin is better because they move household goods for the military and they must adhere to strict DOD regulations.(I cant say I know what those regulations say, but I do know that my house hold goods where handled with extreme incompetence. I received very little assistance, explanation, or apology when I called after my items never showed up for delivery, twice. If these guys are approved to handle the goods of our military service men and women then our brave troops are being taken advantage of. Not to mention the taxpayers that are footing the bill.) Pick-up went ok. Drivers were only 30 minutes late. it seemed like it took them forever load our goods due to the many cigarette breaks. We chose to pack our own boxes for which I am thankful after seeing how our larger items were handled. Most of our items made it without harm. I have a large solid wood desk, however, that was broken in several places and extra nuts and bolts laying around. Im serious when I tell you that they literally stacked the broken pieces of my desk in the corner on delivery and thought that it was completely ok. No mention at all until i asked if they were going to finish putting my desk together. They said thats how it was when they picked it up.... They couldnt even figure out how to put the refrigerator doors back on that coincidentally had a few new scratches in the stainless steel face. Im getting ahead of myself though. On delivery day 1 I took my daughter to the baby sitter and the day off work so I could meet the movers at our new house (this is a local move so we are still working with Dolphin moving systems). The show time came and went. I figured they may have gotten caught up in traffic so I gave them 30 minutes or so before I called. I called and no answer. I waited another hour. Called and finally got Jen who told me she would figure out what was going on and get back to me. Another hour goes by and I call Jen again because I havent heard back. She says "oh yeah, the truck broke down in lakeland, we are looking for a mechanic". We are now almost three hours past the time these guys are supposed to show up and Im jumping through hoops to finally figure out that the delivery truck had broken down 5 hours ago. Had this information been relayed in a timely manner, I could have at least saved some money on a babysitter. Im almost certain that this story was a lie, but there is really no way to prove that. Anyhow, Jen has stopped answering the phone as I have been calling trying to get updates. Finally Ernie calls and completely absorbs all of my anger at the lack of communication. He offers no apology, no compensation, and no remorse. Its just another day at Dolphin. He tells me that my goods will not be delivered that day and asks me what my availability is. He marks me down for first thing Monday morning. We arrived "first thing Monday morning" to supervise the delivery. Our goods finally showed up at 3pm with no update and no apology. They demanded payment before anything would be unloaded which completely dissolves any leverage you may have when items turn up broken. I have wasted enough of my time on this review. There are several other items that were broken, but I hope you get the point that these guys have no respect for you or your stuff. Please do yourself and your household goods a favor by choosing a respectable moving company.

I will not even give Dolphin a star. This company should not be in business. Everything was a lie from the Ernie the sales guy who I found out to be just a big sleaze salesperson who will do anything to get the deal closed. Ernie was rude and unprofessional, pretty sure he showed up in sandals. I mean everything was a lie from the promised truck to the workers. Drew the lead packer is nothing but a drunk with eyes bulging out of his face. The entire packing time he talked about the drink he was going to get. Also, the packers are day laborers who have records , just prefer they not be around my family. I was told everyone was an employee of Arpin./ Dolphin which is a lie. They took forever to pack the truck and then tried to cover up damage but I luckily caught it at the last minute and no one would admit to it. The driver was even a hired driver and not part of the company. They packed the truck so poorly that all of my boxes were crushed. I bought wardrobe boxes to keep things neat and not one of them was in good condition and were packed at the bottom. The first piece of furniture that came off the truck was broken and I knew I was in for a long day. I ended up putting a majority of the furniture back together because I wanted them out of my house after the move which was part of the price. Overall this was a miserable experience and I placed a complaint with the company and they basically said oh well, sorry. I wish I would have spent the extra money the get a legitimate company that would handle your move as if it was there own. Stay away from Dolphin Moving/ Arpin if you want a pleasant move without drunks and day laborers.

I guess you get what you pay for with this company. I used them two years ago when they were called Arpin/Transworld Van Lines and they were great. Here is a list of the pros and cons: Pros: - The local move was performed in 3 hours - Cheap move Cons: - Customer Service: The office in Clearwater could not (or would not) identify me with the correct last name. Even after informing them multiple times. Them = Ernie and Jenn. Jenn even laughed at my wife on the phone after she corrected her. - One of the movers, Matt, was drunk or still hung over from the night before. - One of the movers, Matt, was smoking inside the moving van while my items were being loaded. - I was told by Jenn that I would received a confirmation of my payment. I have not received a confirmation email as of yet. Conclusion: I would not use them again and I would also not recommend that anyone else use their services.

As you can see from other post its a long list of reasons not to use Dolphin Moving. To make it easy dont work with these people. They will want more money from you, show up late and stay for 12 hours, Fight in you house, break your belongings and steal your belongings. Try to deliver to the wrong address, show up missing items small and large.... The list goes on and on. Their insurance group is worthless. The moving guys also figure If you have it, its ok to break your stuff because you will be covered. Not true!!! If you are reading this and you havent cemented yourself then you are lucky!! Run away!!! DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE.
