If you need junk hauled away, these guys are the ones to call. They got me out of a major bind. I was needing to have a bunch of refuse removed from an apartment I was cleaning out, a family member having recently vacated it on short notice. I had phoned a local charity to come pick up the stuff, but they never confirmed it, so I figured Id call these guys as a backup. Now I wish Id called them first! When you call College Hunks, you get a friendly and competent operator who will review your order, rates, and any other questions you want answered. Then you get a confirmation call - what the other service was lacking - mine was from Mike, the general manager - a great guy with a lot of experience. Then when its closer to your move time you get a call from a College Hunks driver when theyre close to your place. And then the best part - they actually SHOW UP! (If youve ever had "friends" say theyd help you move and then flake out later, youll appreciate how important this is.) The two movers I had, Chris and Dre, got my pile of junk without any issues and took it away. I paid with a debit card (they use Square for payments) and that was that - and the price was right, too. This is a relatively new business and its spreading. If its not in your market, look for it. This is a very well run operation. Oh - and they also do moving, too - not just junk takeaway! Really REALLY poor customer service, basically UNRELIABLE. I scheduled to move next week with this company and then asked them to provide a quote for packing as well and we scheduled to have someone come over the next day to provide an accurate estimate. I moved my schedule around to accommodate but then a representative named Tracy called and said that an in-person quote wasnt necessary and that a team member would call me the next day to provide a quote verbally. So the next day comes and she calls and says actually the manager wants to come in person to provide a number. At this point Im annoyed bc she cancelled my previous appointment after I moved my calendar around to get this completed. So the rescheduled time for the manager to stop by was suppose to be today at 3pm and we have a no show...again I adjusted my schedule for this. At 5pm I call back Tracy and she says its bc of the rain and shell have him over right away...it is now close to 8pm... this is absolutely horrible service. Im going to cancel my move with the College Hunks completely. What a mess- do yourself a favor and find a different company.

It is rare when a company provides EVERYTHING above and beyond what you even ask for. Unbelievable SAME DAY Move as when I called that morning. Finished job in less time than estimated and John & crew were self-motivated to keep everything in or under budget and wrap everything perfectly. They didnt complain when they had to maneuver furniture through a small walkway and they were exceptionally pleasant to deal with. To top it off, they even fixed something on my furniture that never worked properly. They kept in constant contact for timing of arrival. They truly make you feel like you are valued as a customer! Outstanding service and pricing ALL the way around from start to finish. I will definitely be calling College Hunks for the major move next year!

After a hasty online search for "haul away services" College Hunks pops up. I wasnt expecting much after a late afternoon call but they said they could be here in about two hours. I was kept updated by a few phone calls as to ETA and asked a few questions about what services I needed. Exactly two hours later Justin and Yusef were here with a very professional presentation, estimate, written authorizations, insurance forms, everything to ease your mind. Minutes later my old dishwasher, laundry center, and three sinks were hauled away just in the nick time right before those pesky Condo rules kick in. College HUNKS are an absolute must. Quick, easy, and PROFESSIONAL. I will be definitely be using their services again!

Very friendly. If I may make a suggestion though, whenever these young men come to remove an item from inside a home, they should carry a tape measure to measure length, width, and depth of the item and the door they plan to use as an exit. This will save them time. If you measure the item before you get the item to the door, it will save you from having to stop at the door because maybe you need to turn the item, or in this specific instance, take the doors off the refrigerator after you were halfway through the door. This is just a suggestion for the young guys that came out. This will make their job a lot easier. Keep up the good work. Smarter not harder.

I would give 10 stars if I could! We had last minute move needed for a good size office space. Mike was wonderful with communication and provided super fast responses! He was able to provide an estimate, get a crew of 5 H.U.N.K.S. together, and obtained all of the required insurance documents needed for an after hours office move in less than 2 days. The H.U.N.K.S. showed up early for the appointment, they were very polite and professional, they worked super hard and somehow got everything packed into 2 trucks. I cant say thank you enough to Mike, Sean, Chris, Juwan, Trevor and Justin!! I will recommend College H.U.N.K.S. to anyone I can!!

I had a lot of construction debris and other junk to be thrown away prior to listing my home for sale. Todd and Dre came to my home within the allotted time frame. Both young men introduced themselves and then proceeded to review the items needing to be hauled away. Todd explained the price structure to me based on the amount of items I had to be hauled away. Both Todd and Dre were personable, professional, hard working, and efficient. I think they went above and beyond the call of duty by making me laugh in during the process. I will definitely hire this company again for any interim haul away needs.

I was called numerous times keeping me well informed when the guys would be at my house. All contacts on the phone were professional and very friendly . When the 3 young men arrived at my house , they all greeted me and told me their names. They were polite, friendly and extremely professional. They went straight to work and had the job done quickly and to my satisfaction. The bill was the exact amount that we agreed to on the phone. I would highly recommend College Hunks Hauling Junk. Service doesnt get any better than that.

I needed to move my 90 year old parents from Fort Myers to Fort Lauderdale in a very short time frame. College Hunks did an amazing job and the two movers, John and Derrick, were exceptional. Their supervisor, Darrin, communicated appropriately to me to calm my OCD personality in this very stressful situation. They all worked their rear ends off! Ive moved all over the country with many companies during my corporate working career. First time NOTHING was broken or went wrong! Highly recommend. 5 stars!!
