I hired All My Sons West Palm Beach (AMS) to move my personal belongings from my single family home to another single family home 10 miles away in Stuart, FL. Here is what went wrong with the move Packing: 1. Movers never called prior to arrival and showed up ½ hour late. 2. The two people that showed- one didn’t speak English and other was handicapped. 3. The movers showed up with no lifting straps to move heavy items 4. One mover was small/weak so my neighbor and I moved 80% of the items into the truck 5. Both movers were extremely slow and were dragging to extend the hourly time. 6. I called the manager and he asked if I wanted to reschedule; which was not an option. 7. each and every item they handled had damage to it along with my home. Here is what went wrong with the move un-Packing: 1. Movers had talked to the manager on the drive over and were very upset with my comments to the point they were confrontational and rude. 2. The manager and movers would not unpack my items until I paid with my credit card basically holding my items for ransom until I paid for the move and additional estimated unpacking time of two additional hours. Along with ½ hour of filling out paperwork and telling me how things were going to work. 3. My neighbor and I unpacked the entire truck within 45 minutes. 4. The movers were so slow and tried to slow us down to keep “the meter running” 5. The smaller/handicapped mover actually started purposely damaging my items to get a rise out of me. When I confronted him he took a defensive stance like it was going to get physical and at that point the one that didn’t speak English stepped in. 6. Upon completion I signed the documents and noted the time with another hour and one half remaining for a credit and the mover would not provide me a receipt of the documents. As a walked back inside I turned around to see him urinating on my driveway up against the truck and giving me the finger… In all; my neighbor and I did 80% of the moving and I estimate the damage to my personal belongings to be over $10,000.00 I will never use All My Sons Moving WPB ever again and have posted my complaint on the Internet so others can be sure not to get ripped off like I did.

Horrible experience. It would of worked if they would of actually wrapped up my furniture instead of throwing brand new furniture into the truck. My dining table and chairs were torn up. My Dining beautiful Cabinet was scratched up. They damaged an Antique family Mirror, Paintings, other items throughout ny home. Very careless movers. Obviously inexperienced. I wasnt there to watch them because I was at new home. My husband was with movers and was on business calls while they were throwing our beautiful furniture into their dirty truck. Once they finished liading heir truck, they left thecrest of our items at old house because it didnt all fit in their truck. Then they took an hour lunch with the loaded truck of our belongings without letting us know. Once they arrived they rushed and stscked fragile boxes on topnof each other. Broken items after we unpacked. They stacked up boxes in our garage for us to move ourselves to their proper rooms and then to our shock split without telling us. We later found out that it was past their working schedule and they were given permission by their Supervisor, the actual person that came to our old home to do the whole moving evaluation. They didnt even receive a tip from us. This is all unacceptable! Irresponsible. It took months to file a claim after they sent a moran who took a marking oen to do yiuch ups on my dining table and vhairs. That was their guarantee and solution to my damages so long story short we got ripped off on our claim. Totally ripped off. I had to do all the claims, constant followcalls and text. Look elsewhere! I promise you, youll be happier. They dont care about customer service or satisfaction at all!

We used All My Sons Moving for a corporate move. The absolute worst service I have ever experienced. I write positive reviews about companies and rarely ever feel the need to post a negative one. This company and its employees (sales, estimator, moving supervisors, movers, and the regional director) exemplified terrible customer service, horrible effociency, and poor communication. The movers were late (thus we were out moving late) they did not follow simple direction (no electronics in boxes) and apparently needed around the clock supervision...otherwise they take breaks non stop, smoke, play with their cell phones, etc. The list goes on. The sales rep lied to me in order to win my business, good for him...I guess he made his commission. I second, third and forth many if not all of the other bad reviews...should have looked here first. In packing alone, these guys...as it turns out, now that we are finally unpacking their work, double and triple boxed items more than once. They also stuffed packing paper relentlessly without cause in every box. The supplies bill makes complete sense now. Only a couple guys spoke English, they still didnt follow simple direction (no electronics are being packed) by the time we figured out they had packed them it was too late. The last thing Ill add is the way they dealt with payment. I informed the sales rep up front that we would supply a company check at the end of the move...what happened at the end of the move you ask? They stopped moving and held a a quarter of a truck load hostage, and all the movers went insane.

Im not an ex-employee...just another unsatisfied customer. In fact, they dont even deserve the Fair Rating. The employees who moved my furniture were good other than the how they presented my contract. They gave me the contract to sign and requested payment AFTER all my furniture was loaded. It turned out that the balance due was twice the amount quoted over the telephone days before. The reason it was double the amount was...they dont tell you the $100 deposit they collect in advance doesnt get applied toward the balance. Noooooooooo. They keep that. AND they DONT tell you theres a fuel surcharge (20% of the bill) tacked onto the bill. In fact, when the mover saw my surprise when he showed me the bill and I questioned the fuel surcharge, He said "They didnt tell you about the fuel surcharge, did they?" I said NO! So even hes aware of these surprise charges customers like me have to pay. Its the movers that have to deal with the disgruntled angry customers when they find out they are forced to pay more because all their personal belongings are being held hostage. Then the third strike was the fact that you also are forced to pay for their travel time which is calculated like this- 3 hour minimum PLUS one hour of travel. Prior to choosing All My Sons for my move, I was simply quoted a three hour minimum (which is REALLY a 4 hour minimum because they dont tell you about the travel time youre forced to pay) and asked for a $100 deposit which doesnt even get applied toward your total. (They DONT tell you theyre KEEPING IT!).

I have two experiences with All My Sons, a 5 star and a 1 star. But, the 1 star unfortunately overshadows the 5 star. The first move, April 2016, 2 men unloaded our UHaul (which contained our entire household) into a storage unit. They spoke English well and were hard workers. They had great attitudes and were exemplory. They are the kind of employees that make a good name for a company. They completed the task in a timely manner. I did not feel they were running the meter for money. They were done in half a day. The second move was from the storage unit to a home, June 2016. Same amount of belongings, no stairs were involved. Three men showed up at the storage unit. Only two really did much work, only one spoke English well. One was sketchy and I wouldnt want to have been alone with him. He kept sneaking off to smoke and at one point his co-workers couldnt find him. The slowest man keeps the pace. I started helping them because they were so slow running the meter. The one who kept sneaking off is not the type of man you would want to represent a professional establishment, at least I didnt see evidence of it. Unfortunately, because of the inconsistent service, I will never use All My Sons again. I cancelled a third move with them because of how unsafe I felt with this horrible worker. The only reason I give the second experience a one star instead of a zero is because they didnt break anything. I did not complain directly to the company about our second move because these men now know where I live.
