I had brought my car to a lot of shops in the Largo area, and I had a lot of mechanics that I had experienced as being dishonest and ended up causing my car more problems instead of fixing the problem Id gone in with prior. Someone told me about German Imports, and so I took my car over. That was the best decision I ever made, and it saved me and my wife a lot of headaches over the two years that we lived in the area. They ended up fixing all the major problems our car had, and we rarely needed service afterward. Anytime I experienced a problem, I would take it over to the shop, and Michael the owner would check it out for me. He was always very honest and upfront with me. If there was something simple that I could fix on my own, he wouldnt lie to me and try to get me in the shop and charge me for it. And anytime there was an issue he was good at figuring out exactly what the problem was, and charging a reasonable price to get the job done. For the first time ever, I felt my car was in good hands. As far as mechanics go, Michael and his team have been the best and most honest Ive found. For anyone looking for someone they can entrust their cars to in good conscience, I recommend going here.

Ive done business with Mike for nearly four years, both my 07 Porche Boxster and 02 BMW 5 series. What a wonderful experience. He is honest, upfront, competent, and a pleasure to work with. This place will always have my business. The experience is a polar opposite of that of both the Pinellas County dealers Ive had the displeasure to work with. My only regret is that he doesnt sell used cars! ps - am not a relative, not even a friend, just a customer with a lot of bad and mediocre experiences...

Best experience ever!!! The undercarriage splash guard our 2004 BMW Z4 had come loose and was scraping on the pavement. I called and spoke to Michael and he said to bring it in. When we arrived he asked if we wanted it repaired or replaced. We told him to repair it if possible. We left the car and 2 hours later Michael called me back and said they were able to repair it and there was NO CHARGE!!! No point in ever taking your car to a dealer, or anywhere else for that matter.

A quality shop run by careful mechanics. Ive taken my cars to German Imports for years, including a rare older model of Audi. If unfortunate things happen, even on old plastics and so on they have always stood by their work. Be prepared to arrange your own transportation and for the possibility that work will take longer than estimated.

Michael Schulz has been our mechanic since 1999. Has taken care of our aged Volvos, saw my Subaru well past 200,000 miles, and serviced a Mazda, two Toyotas, a Honda, and a Scion for us. Impeccably fair, great service, and a real pleasure to deal with. In fact, I wont buy a car if its something they wont service.

Great place. Friendly, knowledgeable mechanics. Owner is hands on, keeps an eye on everything that is done. Its rare nowadays to find honest, hard-working business owners. As long as I own an import they will always have my business. Also, you always know the cost up front, no surprises once the work is done.
