We moved to our new home on 06/22/2013. The movers seemed nice and very helpful, but then one of the men (Victor) began mentioning his desire for beer. We offered water, which they took; however, they stopped for approximately 30 minutes between houses to pick up beer to drink en route. They seemed otherwise acceptable and careful. Several items of furniture didnt fit in our home--so we offered them those items which they took. Apparently we werent generous enough as we have noticed multiple clothing items are missing totaling approximately $500. We contacted the van line and the customer service agent offered no recourse other than to say their employees wouldnt do such a thing...etc...and that missing items generally turn up. Well, as more and more items turn up missing, I feel that this company should be reported to prevent other trusting individuals from being exploited. NONE of the items were ever found--because they were stolen. I have never been more disappointed with a mover--and I have moved many times (literally all over the country). I cannot discourage their use enough.

Very bad service those people are not qualified .the owner is not organized he didnt even send 2 movers at the day of moving the owner had to come to help the one guy at the last minute wish add to the stress . I had several pieces of furniture that were not mine .Owner didnt assume responsibility of what they loose or damage .My remote control for the sleep number bed was lost along with damaging my mattress . Couple of boxes were missing and he still "acted mad " rising his voice when I call him so he didnt had to pay. Other thing that it was a red flag was that he took control of credit card adding charges and taking furniture to Miami and charge extra when they deliver the invoice was not clear even I call him many times he just was not complete . Very bad experience he didnt even answer the phone. I hope that people read before they thinking about dealing with this company.

For our move from Delray Beach to Gainesville, FL we requested quotes from three moving companies. South Florida Van Lines quote was in the middle and we decided to use them based on Roberts thoroughness and both the way he answered our questions and by the questions he asked us. The movers arrived right on time Saturday morning. They carefully packed those items that we had requested they pack and did a thorough job of getting everything loaded for the trip. They arrived at our new home per schedule on Tuesday morning after calling us about an hour before arrival. Furniture, boxes and the assorted loose items were placed in their designated rooms. Furniture was reassembled as necessary. All done with care and courtesy. We couldnt ask for anything more. We highly recommend them!

Having moved many times in my life on my own and with the help of others I know the difference when it comes to having a professional operation handle the logistics of moving the contents of a home and handling delicate furniture. Robert Gammayo and his crew are amazing. He personally came to our home to do the estimate and was on time and extremely knowledgeable, a true professional. Finding a moving company you can trust 100% is a great comfort during the stress of packing and moving, these guys are professionals, they give you a fair quote and stick to it, they show up when they say they will and take care of everything, including bringing you boxes at the last minute on the day of. Moving can be tough. It can be really tough. But look no further for a moving company than South Florida Van Lines. These guys are perfectionists. The company is family owned and really care about the service. As one example, the owner and office manager will both give you their cell phone numbers and respond very quickly. The crew they sent was amazing. Ive moved five times in the last four years and have tried many moving companies. These guys ARE THE BEST BY FAR. The quote was great but the service was even better. Cant be beat.

I have moved probably 12 times in my adult life, 5 of them being interstate moves. This was an interstate move. South FL Van Lines by FAR was the best experience I have ever had! Every guy was extremely nice, professional, and knew his stuff! Nothing was hurt or damaged. They protected the furniture better than anyone had. I was extremely impressed with the overall work of South Florida Van Lines. I ended up moving from Miami Beach to Fort Lauderdale into a 3 story townhouse. I was amazed on how they got my large furniture up the tight staircase, but they never gave up or complained despite the difficulties. Instead they tried their best to tackle the troubles and moved everything very carefully. I will definitely spread the word on the great job my crew did and the patience they had with the furniture.
