Post Office service should really spend more money on salaries to be able to hire smart people. Locations to visit run out and I still didnt find the one to offer decent service. I was going to ship a small package abroad with this older lady at US1. When I came it was empty. On the shipping label I placed my name, address, e-mail address (besides recipient) and she said she couldnt accept it until I place my phone number. I said there is enough info, I dont have a phone. She said everybody has a phone, she wouldnt accept until I provide one. What is it??I said place whatever number you want, I shipped package many time (and I mean many) before and this is the first time somebody makes it a problem. She said there is a question about a phone number give me a number. I was really patient and said, does a fake number work for you? She said "yes" because she needs to put some number. LOL. Lady, you could come up with it yourself and not let the queue built behind me. This is ridiculous. I gave 3 stars because the post office does scan the dropped mail unlike other locations.

Anybody that comes in 10-15 minutes before closing will get stared down by the older lady with glasses. If you come in around closing, she makes a whole show out of locking the door, and will share a thought or two about people that either just came in or got locked out. Its ironic that the whole locking the door and opening it back up for every single customer makes everyone stay even longer. In my job, no matter what time it is, you treat everyone with respect and appreciate their business. Its called doing your job--even if you arent the business owner, or dont get paid extra for having happy customers. I started going to the PGA location. Its worth the drive.

I guess this is what you call going postal. I just wanted to write down some info off the postage on my package before shipping it. I was told it was illegal. I have been doing this for years. I said "Take the postage off if I can not write the numbers down." The woman behind the counter was extremely rude, even called me a lowlife, I replied with an equally hateful term. In retaliation she threw my package at me cutting my right eyebrow. Then followed me out to the parking lot screaming obscenities at me. All I can say is dont call people names if you cant take being called one back. I guess thats what you call going postal.

The staff at this post office was wonderful! Cat and MaryAnn clearly explained what I needed to do for proper mailing of my correspondence, and smiled the whole time! Not missing a beat, these multi-tasking experts continued helping several people at a time, and me, cheerfully and efficiently. Mailing a package to my niece next week and I know I can count on these fine people to help me make sure she gets it!

Cat was OUTSTANDING! Very upbeat and friendly! Was greeted with a huge smile and was literally in and out of there within 5 minutes!!!! Even when she was helping two other people out me being the third she was extremely fast with helping me and was such a delight! If you need a package go to the post office on us1 and light house!!!!! Great service! Found my main post office now !!!! Thank you Cat!!!

The Worst customer service post office in palm beach county. I go to post office very often and i never seen any usps like this store. Everytime i go, there is this middle age, blond lady working there is very very rude. Next time i go and if she is still has this attitude issue, i will get her name and complain it officially.

I take things in for my business several times a week. I always get good service, sometimes not overly friendly even though they "know" me. The wait is usually acceptable and they are always helpful. There is a man I get when Cat or Maryann are on vacation...he is FANTASTIC. Id like to clone him...

It all depends on whom you get... It can be personal and like olden days. Or it can not be anything like that. If the parking lot is full, dont bother going in. Come back some other time.
