Possibly the worst PO on the face of the planet, if thats possible. First, off, their listed phone number is the USPS national line, with wait times typically running 30 mins plus. If you can manage to find the actual branch phone number, it buzzes busy, then disconnects, which Im assuming means theyve turned it off. Wow. So in specific, they managed to lose 5, yes 5 packages I dropped in their lobby box at once. The tracking numbers all showed the label being created, then nothing. One package was mailed to the next town up (Boca) and after 2 days I went in the branch to inquire. I spoke to LEE, who is rude, brusque and arrogant. He told me three different answers to what was suppose to have happened, and when I asked for him to look in back, he sighed heavily, went in back and of course, reported no packages back there. So even tho all my packages were shipped Priority, I was informed by the folks at USPS national, I could not start an inquiry until my stuff was MIA for 5 days. ??? So day 5, instead of waiting on the phone for 40 mins with the 800 number, I went back to the branch, and ended up with LEE again. Call me crazy, but how could 5, YES, 5 packages headed to 5 locations all go coincidentally simultaneous missing the exact same way? By my logic, they never made it out of this branch. Well, after LEE called me a liar - "I have no proof you put these packages in the box" - and I asked well then why have a box in the lobby? LEE then proceeded to yell at ME, when THEY had lost my packages, representing 30 hours of work and hundreds of $$s income, not to mention screwing 5, YES 5, of my valued customers!! Then LEE contradicted himself another 2 times on the process, ("we never scan packages in here, we just ship them to the main facility" which what?!?! is total BS!), refused to recheck the back room, and walked away from me, leaving his clerk to deal with me, who at this point was a fairly irate customer. What a peach! Ill be reporting him to consumer affairs for the PO (he brought it up, surprisingly!) but be warned when mailing valuable goods thru this branch!!

I ship 20-40 packages per day with this post office. I have never been inside it. The carriers that come to my business are always pleasant, and Vicky, our regular carrier is terrific. Normally, the pickup is done by 1:00. 2:00 at the latest. Yesterday (5/2) there was substitute carrier who forgot my pickup. I was fuming. It was 3:35PM and Im trying to figure out how to get one of my employees there before 5 to drop off the packages. I called this branch. No I didnt get through right away, but I did within 10 minutes. I spoke to Frank. Calmly, I told him my situation. He said hed handle it for me and get my pickup that day. I thanked him and hung up. Figured Id give it until 4:30 and then send someone down there to drop off the packages. At 4:20, a driver arrived (looking pretty sheepish) and picked up my packages. It wasnt easy, but Frank did NOT let me down. They lost a star for the issue happening in the first place, but if they allowed half stars, Id give them 4.5 for their overall service over the past 4 years. By the way, for anyone looking at all the 1* reviews on this office, go ahead and look at the reviews for other branches and youll see the same types of comments. Sometimes you catch someone on a bad day. Sometimes they catch you on a bad day. Also, remember, as someone else stated, generally, people only post about a business when theyve had a bad experience. Most people dont walk out of a store and say to themselves "that was a pleasant experience. Im going to go home and write a review about them."

Awful......our neighbors all re-deliver mail to the correct address because our letter carrier is incompetent, doesnt care, or isnt capable of matching an address to the appropriate house. I have delivered meds that arent mine, but were left at my house. Also have had neighbors 2 blocks away bring our meds to our house. This is inexcusable. Our last carrier had a blue tooth device hanging on her ear and talked continuously....she was loud and could be heard a block away (no, Im not joking)....our mail was never right. When she wasnt talking on the phone, she texted while driving the mail truck...was nasty and rude on top of it. Now, we have a nice carrier, but he cant get it right either. I just wonder if anyone reads these comments, because nothing changes. I never mail a package thru the US mail...everything goes to UPS. The USPS in our area is no better run than the VA ! They should be investigated, too

Theres a woman that works here who was completely RUDE and unhelpful when I first came in. I had never sent a certain type of package before and she talked to me like I was stupid and rolled her eyes like a teenager. The 2nd time I came in a month later, she changed and all of sudden had a high pitched voice and was actually giving customer service.......thats when I realized it was because her MANAGER was working that day with her. Some of the people here do not care about their job or helping people. I wish whoever hired them thinking they would be good to the customers could see the TRUE side of their employees when they are not around. This woman in particular is latino with colored contacts and blonde highlights. If she wants to treat people like that she can work in a prison. WRONG JOB SWEETIE.

I have lived in this neighborhood for years now and Ive never once had a good experience with this post office. My packages are never delivered and I always get the orange slip. Im on the second floor of my building. I guess its too much trouble to climb one set of stairs and knock or leave a package. Its frustrating because any other carrier I never have issues with, only USPS. The office itself is staffed by the most cantankerous bunch of people Ive ever seen. They are all miserable and act like you are wasting there time for even walking into the branch, much less talking to them. Newsflash to the staff. We wouldnt be there if the mail was delivered properly in the first place. I dont like being there any more than you do. tl;dr Dont use USPS, go UPS or FEDEX instead.

Actually it is the worst PO in the world...and possibly on the planet! I have actually complained to Washington DC about this PO and I have met with the Postmaster there accompanied by a federal representative...No improvement whatsoever! I must say our regular delivery person is wonderful! BUT as soon as we have a sub, were dead! Packages just languish is that PO for weeks without getting to the carrier for delivery. The customer pays for 2 day shipping and the pkg arrives a week later! I am waiting today for an alleged 2 day delivery ordered 4 (F O U R ) days ago! It took it 3 days just to get from one city in NY to another city in NY and it probably will take 5 more days to make it to FL! This is disgusting and annoying and I know we are all sick of it.
