When I think " car repair", I start to feel anxious. I mean, who doesnt? The cost alone is enough to frighten you, but then tack on the greed and then youre out of house and home. Well, I have to tell you that..from start to finish DISCOUNT AUTO CENTER & MUFFLER SHOP put my mind, body and soul..not to mention pocket..at ease. I found them online through a google search and called them up. I explained the problem and they told me the possibilities and said to bring it by so they can have a look..free of charge, of course. I headed there very soon after and they were very friendly, helpful, they explained what the problem was.. gave possible solutions and also included some referrals. I was in and out of there in no time at all. Not only did they fix the immediate problem, but their fee was more than fair, it was downright generous. Lets just say that RAVI and ROBERT have made me a customer for life. I cant imagine someone liking car problems, but I have to tell you that I feel great knowing I have a place like Discount Auto Center & Muffler Shop to go to if something does happen. They are my goto people for car solutions. Everybody could use a little R & R in their lives. Thank you Ravi & Robert! ;)

I found this shop through the limited online reviews when I moved to Orlando. I was a little nervous, as the reviews were few and the neighborhood is a little less than ideal. However, after coming once, Ive gone back for any and every service Ive needed. Everything from simple oil and brake changes, to major and seemingly unexplainable problems. Ravi and his team could not be more honest, trustworthy, and REAL. I feel like Im taking my car to my brother when I go there. He is always willing to tell you the TRUTH of the matter and give you realistic advice. Hell even refer you elsewhere if he thinks someone else can diagnose the problem cheaper. He is the anti-scare tactic mechanic. Honestly, I would come back just to have him work on my car even after I move from the area. The only critique I can say is, to try and have someone pick you up while your car is being worked on, as its not the most comfortable place to wait, unless youre a car guy and into standing around talking with all the other car enthusiasts.

My husband and I have been married for 21 years and have never gotten away alone since our honeymoon. We decided to go to Orlando where we had our original honeymoon and on the way down our car started to act strange. We googled everything and started calling places in Orlando only to get negative responses and costly estimates. My husband found Discount Auto & Muffler on Orange Blossom Trail and he talked to Ravi who assured him he could fix our problem at a reasonable price. We were very worried because we were on a very limited budget. We were greeted by Ravi and his staff, they worked quickly and efficiently, they were all amazing, they did not overcharge us. They explained everything VERY detailed so they are VERY knowledgeable about their work and did not try to give us anything we didnt need, they were amazing. I would recommend them to everyone, especially when your a tourist in the Orlando area. You get the straight truth, honesty and impeccable work! Thanks Guys! You helped make our trip wonderful!!!!

I had to get my brake pads replaced, so I called around Orlando to compare prices. I spoke with Ravi. Not only was he the friendliest sounding but he was also the only one that did not try and start the conversation off by insinuating that I most likely would need more work than just my pads replaced, but he also was the only one that was willing to give me a lower price without me having to bring him competitor estimates or searching for a coupon. He was extremely quick and efficient when it came to installing my brake pads. The ultimate reason I will continue to drive clear across Orlando to that specific location for any auto repairs - the excellent customer service! He was one of THE MOST genuine mechanics Ive ever encountered. I would much rather give my money to someone that not only treats my vehicle right but also provides such great customer service! Thank you very much Ravi for all of your help!!

I had initially called a number of places about the cost to fix my exhaust and when I called the other places I told them I already had the part and they still tried to over charge for the repair. I then called and spoke with Ravi and he was very nice over the phone and gave me the price for the repair over the phone and said he could do it in about an hour. I headed over to his shop and he took my car back immediately and began working on it. Before he began the repair he notified me of another issue with my exhaust and offered to fix that as well for a minimal price. I agreed and within a half an hour my car was ready. The service was excellent and Ravi was very honest, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back to him for any other repairs that I need and I will also be referring people to him.

ORLANDO LIMO RIDE

I have a limousine service and one of my limousine had a crack in the muffler due to rusting in time. I went to couple of Muffler Shops and they quoted me a high price as it requires to change the whole muffler system and would take 1 day to repair. My friend recommended me to call Ravi ( Owner of the Shop ) to ask his opinion and he said to come over to see the problem. Ravi was very professional and saw the issue and said it is a minor problem that can be fixed at a reasonable cost. I could not believe that he fixed the muffler in 5 minutes. Ravi is the BEST in what he does and HONEST. I was very impressed with his work and hes got me as his permanent customer. I highly recommend Ravi to anyone looking for a GREAT JOB at a REASONABLE PRICE. JOB WELL DONE :)

I was referred by a co-worker to go to Discount Auto Center and see either Mr. Singh or Robby, upon arriving i was met outside by Robby who was most helpful in assisting me diagnose the loud noise coming from my exhaust. My muffler and pipe was bad and needed to be replaced, i gave the the go ahead and they had me in and out in no time whatsoever, he even agreed to check my brakes for me as it was also making a noise. I brought it back for them to service the front brakes and I was very happy with the service as well as the staff who had me laughing the entire time i was there! This place is legit. I got rear ended and car had been rattling for weeks. Body shop that replaced bumper couldnt figure it out. Thought about taking it to another body shop, or a mechanic, or Honda (who doesnt do body work), but then realized I should go to a muffler place since it sounded like the rattle was underneath and happening when I accelerated. I showed up at 8am and Ravi put it on a lift, realigned the muffler, and 15 minutes later was finished, car was fixed (sounds great now), and he didnt want to charge me! I love this guy! Of course, I would have felt terrible not giving him something, so luckily I had some cash and gave him all the cash I had, which happened to be $17. Ill be going back to this place next time I need work.
