I was driving to Orlando from South Carolina on business and my car began to overheat as I was approaching my hotel. I was able to park and could tell that my cooling system was leaking. Not knowing anyone in the area and being a little leery of what the dealership would end up charging me, my wife (who was very interested in making sure that I made it home) began looking for recommendations from friends on Facebook and looking at online reviews. She saw the high Google rating for Forsyth Auto and Radiator Repair and called them to get a feel. She talked with Amar and immediately felt very comfortable that he understood the situation (being from out of town) and that he would be fair and do what was necessary to get me home safely. I had the car towed from my hotel and paid for extra mileage to have it taken there. Amar called me several times during the process to let me know where things stood. He called me when he received the car, called me when he had diagnosed the problem, called me when it was ready, and even called me the next day to make sure that I got home safely. When he called me about the problem, he explained what he saw and how he diagnosed the problem (cracked water pump). He told me what needed to be replaced, and he recommended that we replace the belts and hoses since it would just be the cost of the parts since he was already in there. He gave me an estimate and everything seemed fair. He received the car at closing time on Monday (stayed open a little later to receive the car), checked it first thing Tuesday morning, and had the repairs completed Tuesday afternoon. I actually picked the car up Wednesday morning when I was scheduled to leave. When I arrived, he had the car pulled around and then went about showing me what he removed from the car and showing me the condition of the belts and hoses he removed. He then walked me through what he replaced on the car pointing each thing out to me. He also had one of the mechanics check all of the fluid levels while I was there just to make sure that I knew that everything was in good working order. He said something like, "I like to show every customer what we did and recheck everything with them watching, just because that is the way we do things here." Very impressive. The final cost was within $10 of the quote he gave me over the phone. I have heard people say before that you need a couple of really honest people in your life. You need an honest spouse, an honest boss, an honest doctor, and an honest mechanic. When travelling to another city, you naturally become worried if you have to seek out a doctor or a mechanic that you dont know. This would have been the perfect opportunity for a dishonest mechanic to take advantage of me. My safe return home was in his hands, and I did not have a lot of options or leverage. Amar not only took care of my car, but gave a sense of reassurance to my wife that I was in good hands. He was right. For anyone in the Orlando area (or another unfortunate traveler like me) that needs an honest, fair, and transparent mechanic, I highly recommend Amar and his team at Forsyth Auto and Radiator Repair. I cant reward him with my loyal business, but hopefully I can share my experience with others who may be in need.

Let me start out by saying Im not the type of person to take the time to post reviews, however I felt the service I received at this repair shop was WAY above my expectations. On Friday the 13th(how ironic) my radiator blew. And as a self supporting college student, I was hoping for the best when I took my Jeep into Pepboys for a qoute. The $1400 they quoted me wasnt possible, so with whatever little hope I had to get this problem fixed, I searched for a radiator shop and came across Forsyth Auto & Radiator repair. From the first time Amar picked up the phone I knew I had found the right place. The man is not only a very knowledgable mechanic, but he is also a people person with outstanding customer service. He took the time to listen to what was wrong with my car, asked specific questions, and than promised to call me back shortly with an estimate for a new radiator. He called back 5 minutes later, again confirming the right radiator for my specific vehicle, with a qoute that was less than half of what Pepboys quoted me! To put the icing on the cake, he told me to get out of that PepBoys and gave me step by step directions on the quickest route to get my nearly overheating jeep to his auto shop. Leaving my keys with Amar was worry free. Today I went to go pickup my jeep(on a Saturday!) and it runs great. He showed me everything he fixed and why. Something mechanics have never done for me. Moral of the story: If you want an honest, fair, knowledgable, no nonsense mechanic with the outstanding customer service that EVERY car owner deserves when going to an auto shop, bring your car by Forsyth Auto repair. I was highly satisfied. Thanks again Amar!!!!

I want to thank Amar and his staff at Forsyth Auto & Radiator Repair for the excellent service I received this week. I’ve recently relocated to the Central Florida area and the radiator went out on my truck. As a student, I was in dire straits calling and asking around to get my vehicle repaired. The repair estimates I had received from other garages left me with little hope of a low cost repair; however, Amar provided me with the most reasonable estimate of them all. He was very professional and seemed genuinely concerned about getting my vehicle ready so that I may attend school the next day for a scheduled exam. Additionally, he replaced a headlight for me at no charge because they had serviced the car so recently. Having a mechanic that one can trust gives a welcome sense of security in todays world and now they have a customer for life. I would recommend Forsyth Auto & Radiator Repair to all my family & friends.

Amar and crew at Forsyth Auto and Radiator Repair are the absolute best. I have taken my vehicle to this awesome repair shop on three different occasions and on all three occasions, Amar and crew have diagnosed the problem and have gotten back to me with solutions and prices in 24 hours or less. All of the repairs were made in a timely manner, usually a day or so, and the costs…OMG, I can’t tell you how happy my pockets are doing business here. I would be limb-less had I taken my SUV to the LR dealer. Oh and don’t let me forget to mention the follow up calls. Amar calls personally to make sure everything is going well with the repairs he and his team performed. That’s genuine customer care right there. While I hope my ride continues to bless me for many more miles, should ANYTHING go wrong with it, I know I have a trusty mechanic in Amar and his team. Thanks for all that you all do. Spencer

Amar is by far the BEST mechanic I have ever entrusted my car to. I used to take my car to the dealership for service and have them keep my car half the day and charge me for 3 hours of labor for a job that takes 30 minutes to do. I never worry about that nonsense at "Forsyth Auto & Radiator Repair"; they are completely upfront about parts and labor cost and realize that I need my car and will only keep it as long as necessary. My wife once took our car in for service and it needed a few things swapped out; Amar however noticed that 2 of the tires were very bald and encouraged her to get tires first and then the other parts we needed. The thing is, "Forsyth Auto & Radiator Repair" does not sell tires. Amar sent my wife and her checkbook away from his business because our safety was more important to him then our money. As long as I live in Orlando and drive a car, Amar will have my business!!!
