Ive been going to this location for 10 years. Theres new management now and its definitely hurting the business. I scheduled an appointment online for recommended work (an alignment and new tires). I show up for the appointment, then to find out that they have no trace of me ever making an appointment, which is ridiculous because I had the confirmation for the appointment pulled up on my email. The guy helping me says "hmm....he never told me about that...". Im annoyed but proceed to make another appointment for the next day at 10am because the guy behind the counter said he could have the tires in first thing in the morning. I show up the next morning at my appointment time, the same exact guy is working the counter and has no recollection of ever interacting with me the day before. The tires arent there. He doesnt know when theyll be in and asks if I want to wait. Im livid at this point, but I tell him Ill wait a few minutes to see when the tires will be delivered. He makes a phone call, and tells me theyd be here by 12:30 that day (sure...). They called a couple hours after I had left to tell me the tires had come in and that they had a couple of guys on standby waiting to put them on my car, but I never went back. I gave them 10 years of business and was about to drop hundreds of dollars on tires and services, but the sheer lack of communication and lackadaisical service at Tuffy has forced me to take my money elsewhere.

I was hesitant at first going to a franchise auto service location, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had read some positive reviews on Google and decided to try it out for an oil change. They had no problems accepting online coupons and I got a really good price for my high mileage car. They gave me a rather extensive list of repairs, which I passed by another mechanic to verify. He verified that the list was fairly accurate knowing my cars history and that the prices were reasonable. So, I returned to get my front tires and tie rod ends replaced as well as an alignment. I called in the AM and they ordered the parts and fixed everything all within 2 hours. They were very prompt considerate to my schedule and were honest about what needed to be repaired and what could wait. They even had a student discount, which is extremely helpful for me being on such a tight budget. I will definitely be returning to this location.

Can I give zero stars? I had the absolute worst experience at the Tuffys on Mitchell Hammock. The Tuffys on Mitchell Hammock has been recently put under new management, Louie is the new owners name. I came into his shop, only because my mechanic was a little too far at the time and my car felt unsafe to drive that far. When I walked in I was incredibly frustrated (who isnt frustrated to come into an automotive repair shop in the middle of their day?) Louie refused to service my car because I was upset the my car was acting up. He then started bad mouthing other mechanics in the area. I then had to call my mechanic and have him send over a tow truck to tow my car away. I hope it was incredibly embarrassing for Louie to have a tow truck come tow away a car off his property. DO NOT COME TO THIS TUFFYS.

Ive taken my 2001 Impala here three times so far. The first was for a broken harmonic balancer which shredded my timing belt. They not only helped me get it off the busy highway, but also honestly repaired my vehicle for a competitive price. The second time was having my radiator and hoses replaced, along with replacing the thermostat for free. They did this for $1050 and it works like a charm. Picked up my vehicle the next day. Im here right now having a minor coolant tube replaced for free. I highly recommend this shop and will be bringing any vehicle I own to this facility.

I cant believe I havent made a review about you guys yet. I just wanna thank everyone here for dealing with my car. I trust this place with everything Craig is an awesome guy and he is so kind and so truthful. my car has over 400,000 miles on it and its about a mile away from blowing up completely lol but these guys have solved every problem and have been so patient with me calling all the time to check on my car and ask questions. I truly appreciate all the hard work and the positive atmosphere you guys always have. Much love always!

Had these guys install a set of shorty headers and high flow cats on my 2010 Dodge Challenger. Not only did they do the install, they also welded an adapter into the headers to allow me to run a wideband o2 sensor. They provided great service, took care of my car, all for a great price (They where $1200 cheaper then the other guys down the street). Ill be taking the wife and kids cars here from now on. I highly recommend these guys

Managers and technicians were professional and friendly. I felt confident that I could trust them to repair my car, and that I really mattered to them. Shop waiting area was clean and bright. Repairs were clearly explained to me by the service manager, the technician took my car for a test drive to make sure it was working well, and when I left I felt confident. I will definately recommend Tuffy Oviedo to my friends.

I recently had my pickup serviced at the Oviedo Tuffy. I have been getting my maintenance done there for the last 4 years. I have always had fast and friendly service and none of the phony upsells others will try to talk you into. I have never experienced any problems with their work it has always been done right the first time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service in the Oviedo area.

I took my car to the Oviedo Tuffy, which is under new ownership, and was very impressed. Henry, the store manager, assessed my problem quickly and efficiently. The price they quoted was extremely competitive and the work was done in a timely fashion. It was clear to me that they now have a good attitude and are doing their best to treat customers well.

Tuffy has a great customer serv. mgr., that made my experience fun, using the free wifi in the waiting area; The mechanic was very friendly and knowledgeable and even replaced a missing bolt under the hood; They are good guys and good people persons and do a great job; NO PROBLEMS and the car runs great. I highly recommend this repair shop.

Great service. Had my brake fluid & an oil change which included a tire rotation which was forgotten but quickly resolved when I brought it to their attention. Would have given them 5 for 5 except for the missed tire rotation. Will be back again. Glad there was a Miller Ale House across the street to grab a bite

Do not go here. These people told me there was a nail in my tire but there was no nail in my tire. I know because I took it to a Discount Tire immediately after because they get nails out for free. I waited there for 20min just for them to put my car on a lift and tell me there was no nail.
