I was shocked by the attitude and the unwilling desire not to answer questions about a tire wear pattern that I was experiencing on my car. When I began to explain what I assumed it may be I was cut off and a booklet was thrown in front of me so I can look it up as he walked away!!! I kept my cool and remained respectful even though he didn’t deserve it. My initial reason was to have 2 rotors turned which I dropped off. When I walked into the office to pick them up the only words I heard was how much I need to pay and where I can find the part...NO EYE CONTACT!! When I got home I realized that they forgot to turn one side of the rotors. I would never return to this place and don’t recommend it to anyone!! And to the tall, thin, and red headed male that was working up front...GET A JOB THAT YOU LIKE...that way you can enjoy human interaction.

My alternator went bad just as I pulled into AutoZone right across the street from Best Choce Auto and the car died and would not start. AutoZone diagnosed the problem and sold me a new alternator. Charged my battery just enought to get me across the street to Best Choice Auto. I had to be in Orlando to catch a flight in two hours as was looking to rent a car. Best Choice Auto went all out to help me, they installed the alternator in no time at all, had two guys working on it and I was out of there in less than 40 mins. Got to the airport in plenty of time. What I thought was going to turn into a bad day worked out fine thanks to Best Choice Auto and all for under $99.00 Thanks you guys for helping me out and providing a top notch professional service. Ill deff be back for my auto mech needs 10/10

BEWARE: The work is good but they will try to cheat you. If you are not aware of actual part prices, actual labor times, and are able to negotiate pricing, then stay away. They will take you for a ride with your own wallet. I negotiated a $500 dollar radiator change down to $385, and I still feel like I got ripped off. They charge $50 for EACH diagnosis performed and about $100 an hour for labor, which they use a computer program to "estimate" labor time with a base minimum of 1 hour. So if you have a 30 minute fix, you still get charged for an hour of labor, basically stealing $50 from you. They also purchase their parts from Advanced Auto next door, which is already marked up, only to mark it up themselves. Find someplace else with a better and honest reputation.

No customer service at this place. They have a very distant attitude. I brought my car in as it wouldnt start even though I had a new battery. In 10 minutes I was told I needed a new engine to the cost of $2,500.00++. No real explanation other than my car was old and had a lot of miles, and no eye contact. I had my car towed to another garage and it was nothing more than spark plugs and some condensation in the gas. I was told that Best Choice was either just lazy or didnt know what they were doing. The only reason I went to this place is because it was within walking distance to my home and an AAA service center. I should have read the reviews. Since I am a woman and no one was with me I feel they just wanted me to get my checkbook out. Never again!!

My 2000 Taurus locked in park. Instead of checking the brake switch they replaced the shift control solenoid. Still could not shift out of park, took it back, they adjusted something, it worked for awhile then locked again. Trying to get it out of park I ruined the starter, had to have it towed. Took it to another Garage, they replaced the starter and brake switch [which was the problem] and it works fine. Had they replaced the brake switch in the beginning it would have been only about $100.00, as it turned out it cost me over $700.00. I have been dealing with them for about 18 years and trusted them to do right by me, I will never go there again and caution anyone to go there. raf-pjf

My car broke down on I-95 N last week on the way to St. Augustine. I was devastated that my vacation was delayed, but my car got towed here and I cannot say enough about how kind Jim was and how good the customer service was! My car was up and running in about three hours (My cooling fan blew a fuse??? I know nothing about cars.) and we still got to enjoy our trip! I got a text from him a couple days later to make sure my car was still running okay and I just got a thank you card from them in the mail. My mom jokingly said it might be worth the drive from Orlando just to have them fix it if it breaks down again. Haha. Thank you again!

I took my car in for AC trouble, I told them I had just recharged it less than a month ago. They could not find leak. However Tom said I could take it anywhere in tech net when I pcs to get it fixed after they recharged it. Here I am 4 months later. I took it to dealership after Denise and Tom changed their tune and told me they wouldnt stand by their word because I should have looked on back of receipt to see that it wasnt a repair. I trusted them because they seemed trustworthy but when it got real they didnt do what they said they would. Make sure you record the conversation with them if they say that the warranty will cover you!

Kudos to Best Choice for their honesty. I recently brought my car to a Chevy dealership in NSB for a check engine light. After two days and several unanswered calls they finally got back to me with an estimate of $2100.00 and a song and dance trying to set me up for the kill. I declined the repair, they billed me a $129.00 diagnostic fee and brought it to Best Choice. Tom got right on it and called me back in an hour. He actually did the complete repair for $120.00 and it purrs like a kitten now. Thanks to Tom and Kathy for their honesty, courtesy and prompt service.

To go to The Best Choice Auto Care is like visiting family. The quality of their work is only surpass by the warm way that they welcome you and make you feel. They go step by step with what is going on with your car and you have to give the O.K. to do the work. None of this charges that you only see when you are going to pay your bill. I have been using them for almost 20 years and in all that time my car have never broken down on me. The prices are very competitive and the quality of the work is awesome.

First class auto repair shop. Every time we have to take a vehicle in for service it is always a pleasant experience. The front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable, while the mechanics get the job done right - the first time. Even if we are in for just an Oil Change, they let us know of any potential issues with the vehicle, without the pressuring sales tactics like a dealership. I highly recommend this shop that has been around for 20+ years.
