** UPDATE on my review below the review** One of the WORST shops I have ever been to!! Bought a groupon for their oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Not only did they say my brake system needed a flush and the power steering needed a flush( which was a complete and total lie)...the guy at the service counter used the fact that I had a kid to sell the services and our safety. When I told him my dad could fix it he got extremely rude and snippy and basically called me a liar. When I left and got home I realized they never rotated my tires. Well my normal mechanic ( my father) did a full check on my car and not only was the fluid for the brakes and power steering 100% clean, they never changed my oil, they just added new oil on top of the low dirty oil and also over filled it by a quart and a half!!! This place is complete garbage. Save your money and your cars engine by staying AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE from this place. Guess that is why they are on groupon bc they cant get business otherwise. ** UPDATE on my review below the review** Joni from Honest-1 called today and wanted to better understand my experience. She was very apologetic about my experience and wanted to know how she could make it right. She listened to everything I had to say about my experience, took notes and said she will be following up with the appropriate people to ensure this doesnt happen again and also working on making sure everything is done properly. I really appreciate her call, the refund for the money I spent and her throwing in something extra to really show they care. I am changing my 1 star to 2 stars because she took the time to call and spend 40 minutes on the phone with me to figure what happened. I however still stand by my review and I am leaving my review because it is something I did experience. I hope now they that have Joni on their team that the quality control there will be much better and she will always make sure the customer is happy! :) Thank you again for reaching out! ***

First of all i made the huge mistake. of not having the Nissan Altima i just pursched 6 wks ago checked out by ANY mehanic. Therefore, thats why my car was mis-firing and only running on 3 cylinders. I also had NO check engine light! Come to think of it, i replaced the battery about 2 weeks ago and never got a battery light. Actually no lights at ALL...no door ajar light nothing but i didnt really even catch that. Bottom line, the shotty dealership i bought a 2003 Nissan Altima at Had been rigged. I thought i was looking at a really thorough tune up..maybe $300. Bottom line, the previous shotty dealershup rigged this and that and my total came to $923!!! HOWEVER, the gentleman i spoke with was thorough on explaining it all and i just did NOT get that "im throwing in extra things to jack your price vibe". But about 2 hrs later while my tires were off and they were doing my pads and rotors...bc yep, they were bad too, he calls me to tell me he has a set of 4 tires that hed gotten for someone else but that they would fit my car. He said hed give them to me at basically cost which came out to $70/tire that included mounting and balancing. I said well let me call you back in 20-30 min. Put it this way..called Firestone and w their "special" it woulda been $418!!! Needless to say i called Honesty A-1 Auto back and said to do the tites. So...$1200 later (unfortunately) it cost for Everything (rotors, pads, oil change, like 3 filters, coil packs and im sure there are 1 or 2 other things i forgot)!!! PLUS i have a 3 year/35k mi watrenty. So even if im in Alabama (random but far) theyd not only tow me but are associated w Napa all over the U.S. So, say i needed a part on either a tire or on what they fixed broke then im covered!!! My car is also driving beautifully now...what a difference. I HiGHLY recomment Honesty A-1 Auto for whatever you may one day for your auto needs!!! *****

My experience was horrible we use to take all our vehicles there then one day I take in my Chrysler 300 with only 60,000 miles in for a oil change . When I left I didnt notice nothing right away just parked my car for the rest of the night the next day my wife took it to work on the way the motor just locks up .wich happened to be right infront of honest 1 the shop the guys came running out one guy lifts up the hood and says this car has no oil in it .thats when my wife said my husband just got it changed here yesterday so they took it in and looked at it then they tell me some bullshit about oil sludge cosing my engine to seese and there is nothing .they can do its not there fault .so long story short I bring my car to a engine specialist they said there was definitely no oil put into my car it was bone dry and thats definitely the reason why it failed definitely not oil sludge wich is a common problem with the 2.7 engines and then he went on to show me that my car had the newer 2.7 were their is no weep hole on the water pump wich is what would normally cause the oil sludge from it leaking down into the oil pan .so now we had to come out the pocket and buy a new motor .and if that isnt bad about a month after the incident I had one of the workers from honest one call me after he quit just to tell me that I was right and honest one was lieng the whole time not to mention i was being lied to the whole time by the owner acting like he was just a manager and he is gonna talk to the owner and the owner said this and that and come to find out months later the guy jeff was the owner how sketchy just stay away if u dont wanna get ripped off

I recently bought a Ford 2006. The mechanic that did the pre-purchase inspection said it was very good deal but suspected it may have a minor oil leak, which is an inexpensive repair. In addition, the mechanic said he might need to look at the AC unit since it wasnt blowing out really cold air (at max setting). Few days down the road , the mechanic got busy; so I took the car to Honest-1 Auto Care. I said to them there might be an oil leak and asked to look at the AC too. About forty five minutes later, the lady (Angelina, I think) said the oil leak was pretty bad and advised to get that fixed immediately and quoted me 721 dollars and that the AC compressor went bad and quoted me 900 (around) to replace the AC unit. Not to mention, the lady was not even patient enough to properly explain why it would cost me that much. I then thought Ill contact a mobile mechanic from Craigslist to save some money on labor costs. The guy (from Two Thumbs Up) was really busy and came over the next day but clarified that there was negligible oil leak and didnt even need immediate attention. The compressor he said would last me for two years. I paid him a pretty penny for saving me almost 1500 dollars. In short, Honest-1 Auto Care provided me an extremely unsatisfactory service. The receptionist was impatient and unknowledgeable. The mechanic I suspect is a liar (when I called back asking how much oil was left, Angelina said the mechanic topped it off - which I highly doubt). In any case, they are operating with the sole purpose of ripping people off. I wouldnt recommend them to any of my friends.
