Went to Best Buy to get a replacement charger for my laptop. The guy from the computer section sent me to the Geek Squad desk. Two geeks were helping customers and two customers were waiting. I asked whether one had to take a number or sign a waiting list and was told just to wait my turn. Approx 20-25 min passed when it was finally my turn. In the meantime another lady had arrived with her laptop and hollered at the geek (guy with glasses and scoliosis) who was about to help the next in line (me!) what customers with appointments had to do. He asked for her name and checked his pc and told her to come to the counter. I expressed that I was waiting now for over 20 min and just wanted a charger. These items were displayed right behind the geek. In a very rude manner, he turned towards me and stated that I can make an appointment for that! Naturally, I was so pissed that I left the store and I WILL NOT EVER SET FOOT AGAIN in this place. I went over to Office Max and got the part.

Very rude. Poor customer service. I left 2 messages with them concerning a car audio kit, a best buy employee apologized after taking my messages but geek squad did not return my calls. Next day, I drive up there to find out that they didnt have what I needed in stock even though it said so online. He seemed uninterested and I had to ask him to repeat himself because he kept mumbling when speaking with me. Also, he saw that I was trying to get in through the wrong door and he didnt help me until I stood there looking stupid for a few min.

I called to make an appointment and was told i would be able to just come in and the paperwork would be ready to pick up my laptop. I get to the store and they had nothing ready then they inform me my laptop wasnt there. Then the geek person tries to argue that he doesnt have the laptop there. He then goes into the back and finds my laptop sitting in a different location. I keep getting the run around every time i go to this best buy and its annoying.

I brought a PC back for warranty work here for a friend, because it had a bad PCI Express slot(high bandwidth expansion port) The geek squad tech on duty literally could not find it. He did not know what a PCI Express slot was. They also have a tendency to over quote repair costs and tell you its cheaper to buy a new one, which they are happy to help you find in their store.

Waited in line for 20 minutes. With only 1 agent available I finally asked the manager if anyone else could help and thats when I was told there was nothing she could do..thats all the staff they had. poor customer service. Called several hours later to see if wait time was less and the phone rang and rang and eventually just disconnected.

So hard to get help. All employees seem to run away from you. Poorly run warehouse. Wish Best Buy didnt get everything exclusively so I could go somewhere else. :^(
