Took my car in for an oil change. That part went great, they were done in about 45 minutes. Didnt really feel very welcome though, the guy didnt make eye contact and hardly said a word (not even hello or good morning). I thought all was fine, took my car home. The next day, I wake up and I have a flat! Called a service to swap it out for my spare. The tire guy points to a long silvery thing and asked if Id had my car in a shop recently. I told him yes, yesterday in fact. He said the silvery thing was a car part used with bearings and that I had picked it up from the shop. I said okay, thanked him and called South Bay Auto Service. Told them what happened and what the tire guy said, and the guy on the phone was so rude! Told me that theres no way I could have picked it up from his shop, wouldnt own up to the mistake at all, didnt even offer to take a look or ask to see it at all! Sorry, wont be back. If they had owned up to their booboo, I might have considered it. Someone who cant take ownership for their mistake does not get my business. Also, some courses in general customer service would go a long way.

My car started overheating and Southbay Auto Services was the first auto service shop I came to. Now, I rarely go anywhere else for service. I have even sent my sons there when they need repairs on their cars.We never feel taken advantage of or pressured to buy services we dont need, but at the same time we appreciate the recommendations they make for future service to keep our cars running smooth. Admittedly, I never thought to take my car there for a simple oil change, but after reading the tip on their website, I am convinced it is the place to go for ALL our auto services.

I have been taking my car to Southbay Auto for over 2 years. After trying to go to other locations with coupons and such I realized there was nobody else that I could trust like I do Southbay Auto. I feel like Ive gotten to know Mike and Jennifer from the times ive taken my car and I feel very comfortable leaving my car with them. I rarely take the time out to leave reviews but felt like this place definitely deserved it. I would highly recommend this location!!!

The owner has no customer service skills, he is nice when he wants to be. If you aggravate him at all in any way slightly he will become very angry and he will show it. He has a very short temper that he needs to work on to become a better owner and a better worker. Im sorry, but we will not be taking our business back here.

I called last minute to set up an appt and was told they could fit me in an hour and half later. The service was great with no hassle or any pressuring sales tactics. It cost a little more for a full synthetic oil change than what the dealership wouldve charged but I would much rather support a locally owned shop.

Great work, nice people, honest and organized. I decided it would be easy to grab some food at Buf Wild Wings and get car looked at, decided to have the owner proceed with work and will send my car and SUV over anytime I need a repair. Great job and thanks again!

I will not take my cars anywhere else. Ive tried the big chains and get nothing but the run around,as well as sold something I dont need. If you want the best bang for you buc this local owned family business is the only way to go if you want first class service.

I have used Southbay for several years. They are fairly priced, provide excellent service, and even help out with info regarding body shops. I will continue to use them as long as I live in the area. Really good people to work with!
