***UPDATE**** I finally received a voicemail from the owner David who was very irate and yelling that I posted a (factual) negative review about the actions and events that took place. I called David back and he had the same attitude when I was speaking to him. David yelled at me saying that he called me several times then retracted his statement saying his employee Robin took down number incorrectly so thats why I didnt get his calls. Who fault is that and why didnt he validate this with with the original hard copies which I completed myself? David also said that my damaged garments were of no importance to him and then threaten that he would sue me for writing this review. What a class act. David continued to make several other accusations saying I was trying to scam his company out of money and that nothing was wrong with the shirts as if Im making this story up. This owner is a perfect example of who should not be an owner. He clearly doesnt care about his customers, his business or 100% customer satisfaction which is listed on the business cards. Now I understand why Davids employees conduct themselves the way they do because the owner clearly has the same attitude. AVOID THIS CLEANERS AT ALL COST!!! After relocating to Tampa from Miami I located Eagle Cleaners which happened to be near the downtown Tampa area and also provided delivery service to my condo. I dropped off (5) polo Gucci shirts worth ($1,500) to be dry cleaned and once I received them back they were all shrunken and faded. The collars were badly wrinkled as if they were balled up. I informed Robin who works at the front desk and she printed out my receipt for my 5 shirts and said the owner would be contacting me. Two days later, I called back because I never received a call. Robin informed me the that owner took the shirts with him to a laundry association and would get back with me the next day. I called back the next day and I was told that the owner left a voicemail (which I never received) and he is not available as he left to go out of town without contacting me. I informed Robin that I never received a call or voicemail and that I needed to reach the owner because the shirts are damaged. Robin said, there was no way to reach the owner since he was on the plane. I asked could she call and leave him a voicemail to call me and she acknowledged. The next day, I called Eagle Cleaners and I received several responses from Robin stating that the owner said nothing was wrong with the shirts, I gave them 5 shirts when she claims I only had 4 and my receipt clearly states 5 and that I needed to just come get my shirts. After reading another review I realized why Eagle Cleaners has such bad reputation for customer service. Its because the owner clearly doesnt focus and care about these values as a business. I would not recommend this cleaners because they are clearly dishonest and are refusing to correct the issue when they state the benefits of doing business with them is a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I will now pursue them legally as I have tried reach out several times and they are refusing to make things right.

My boyfriend and I have been using Eagle Cleaners for years and have always been happy with their service. That has recently changed with the complete disrespect from Robin Fernald. Over a month ago, my boyfriend brought in my $398 Alice and Olivia blouse to be cleaned, I was later informed that it had been ruined. Since Eagle Cleaners has a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" I figured that they would have no problem either replacing my blouse or refunding me the money for the blouse, if provided with a receipt. I was definitely wrong. I was told on March 23, by Robin Fernald, that they were trying to soak the blouse to fix it and that they would call me back in a couple days. After not hearing back from them, I called Ms. Fernald on April 1, and was told the blouse was still soaking and she would call me back. On April 4, Ms. Fernald left a message to call her, I returned her call on April 6. That was when she told me that they were unable to fix my blouse, and that it wasnt their fault it was ruined. Ms. Fernald suggested that I try to return the blouse to the store, which I thought was a complete joke. Why should I have to go out of my way to fix something they ruined? They asked if they could send the shirt to a "lab" to see what happened, I said yes, which I completely regret doing. Ms. Fernald said she would have the owner call me. This was said on April 6 and still no call. Today, April 26, I called Ms. Fernald and asked her what they were doing to replace the ruined blouse, she began to yell at me saying that this wasnt her fault and the shirt was still at the lab. I asked Ms. Fernald why she was speaking to me like that, her response was because I was yelling at her. First of all I was not yelling at Ms. Fernald, I was expressing my frustration with her lack of follow up calls that she has continuously promised, as well as my disappointment of only being able to wear this blouse once. Eagle Cleaners says they have "Courteous, Helpful Staff" and "Friendly, Personal Service", today my entire outlook of this company has changed. I am extremely disappointed in the way this situation has been handled and shocked with how unprofessional Ms. Fernald has been.

Service has to be very bad for me to actually give a negative review. The service and professionalism of the owner is horrible. I was a first time customer of the Eagle Cleaners in the Sykes building. I took some shirts and pants to be cleaned. When I picked up the clothes, one of the shirts was clearly messed up. I asked them to fix it and they took several days to "see what they could do". I then spoke to the owner and he blamed it on the manufacturer! He told me if I return it to the manufacturer they will give me a new shirt. WHAT?! The colors were bleeding and there were imprints all over the shirt. He couldnt fix it and he didnt offer to replace it. He was VERY rude. The shirt belongs to my boyfriend, so he went to the business on his day off to speak to someone and it was closed in the middle of the day for 2 hours! He left a card for the owner to call him and we have not heard back. Horrible service and we will not use them again.

We decided to try this dry cleaner service it was because we live in downtown Tampa and Eagles has a pick up service from the condos. I dropped my order off the first time and one of the items needed to be hemmed. I went to pick up the items a few days later and the skirt had been dry cleaned but NOT hemmed. Another time, my fiancee went to the location to drop clothes off (just a drop off, no pick up). They were closing at 7pm and he arrived at 6:55pm. The guy working was locking up and walking outside and said "sorry bud, were closed". Unfortunately, this is very poor customer service. They close at 7, not 6:55. It would take two seconds to write out a ticket and take the clothes. We will not be returning.
