I have a 2015 Porsche Macan S that is due for an oil change and spark plug replacement. This is my 3rd Porsche and I while I have always taken my vehicles to a Porsche Dealership, I saw that European Motor Cars had high ratings, so I decided that the potential to save about $400 would be worth a change. This was a mistake and a waste of time. The potential savings is no way worth the risk and hassle. Summary of my experience: Monday- made an appointment for the service on Thursday morning and was told the service would take a couple of hours Thursday morning- arrive about 8:30 and waited until about 11:00 before asking them for an update. I was told it would be ready shortly. Around 11:30 I came back out to the waiting room, where for the first time I am told “Well, we’re all set, except they weren’t able to change your spark plugs, since the Porsche dealership sent the wrong ones”. So, to be clear… I have waited for 3 hours with no updates. I asked for an update and was told I was almost ready. As I’m checking out, I’m casually told that they weren’t able to change the plugs, only perform an oil change. The lady at the front did apologize and even offered to come pick up the vehicle for servicing. Thursday evening- I am leaving work and the “Change Oil Now” message comes on. I immediately called the shop and was told, “oh yeah, they were having some problems with the software to reset the codes” and they would get back to me. Saturday- a new warning message appears stating “Oil level above maximum Consult a workshop”. I called and left a message to advise of the message. Monday- no call Tuesday- received a follow up call with a message checking when I could bring the car in and leave it for a day or two. Tuesday afternoon- got into a legit Porsche dealership to fix the messages, change the plugs and check the oil levels. Lesson- sometimes you do get what you pay for and time is money.

I have been going to EuropeanMotorCars from past 5 years. This was a go to place for BWM 7 series and X5, but frankly, their work and customer service is going down south from past 2 years. Tom use to run this place, it was pretty good back then. He passed away from heart failure/attach and this was taken over by different people, and its not same anymore. I took my X5 multiple times for check engine light, each time, they say something and I have already spent over $1500 and its still on. I usually pick up my car late in the evening after my work, probably between 5.30 PM and 6.00 PM. Recently I had asked them to change one of the side lights, when I headed out of their shop, it wasnt working. So I called them immediately, and told her that it isnt working. They asked me to get the car next day since it was late and they were about to close, I didnt got a chance to take it back to them for next few days. And when I took it back, she says, some connectors issue, and all the connectors needs to be replaced. I asked the lady at front desk, dont you guys check if the lights are working after you replace the bulbs and she says that it worked when they installed. And this lady has no clue about any other cars, she always refers all the cars as Merc. I guess she used to work for Mercedes Benz about a decade ago. If you want your car to run properly, my suggestion is avoid this place. It aint worth your time and money.

(2002 Saab 95 23t) Ok, after calling around to other saab repair shops, I decide to take my car to Euro. Motor Cars in Alpharetta, Ga because of its great reviews. I was not disappointed. They provide quality service, with a smile and it is absolutely true that this place demonstrates the finest of integrity! No up selling. I was impressed by Louis because he had the courtesy to give me updates on the status of my car while he personally worked on it. The other servicemen were very charismatic and seem to really enjoy what they do. Bridget was great at multitasking and even little Chewy provided for some great entertainment in the waiting room. While I was there, I did not see a single customer pick up a car that was not absolutely satisfied. Louis is very charming , professional and personable.I observed that he is very good at his executive duties as well as serving needs of his customers Very transparent which is good because I was intrusting my 2002 Saab 95 23t to his care. I will be a returning customer when the time comes. I have already recommend some friend to take their Volvo and VW to the guys. I love that others servicemen greeted customers to even if not working on their vehicle. Who know they might be when & if service is needed again so its good to establish trust. Theresa G.

I have trusted E.M.C. with my 2003 Audi Allroad . They perform regular oil changes, a coolant expansion tank replacement and most recently completed an extensive project. This included flushing the heater core to remove gunk, two new tires, replace worn out vacuum hoses, front control arms and valve cover gaskets. Though that last job was the most expensive car repair I have ever had in my twelve years of driving, guess its the joy of having an Audi. Unfortunately one day after getting the car back its check engine light came on and ran sluggish. I then returned the car and the team quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem under their warranty. Now the car drives better than ever and once again I have confidence in driving it, especially with my girlfriend. Louis and the team are great, including Chewy, the shop dog. They have a wonderful waiting room with leather sofas, refreshments, television, and WiFi. I am soon to bring my 85 c10 there for an overhaul too.

Happy to write about my excellent experience with European Motor Cars. I was on the verge of selling my 2005 Audi A6 because of the jaw dropping estimate I received from the local dealership service department I had been using since I bought it. When I spoke with Tom on the phone, he told me he would take a look and let me know what they found WITHOUT charging me the $135 I just spent for that "service" at the dealership. Upon inspection, I had an actual conversation with someone I trusted who gave me straight answers about what I needed and more importantly what I did not. How refreshing!! I ended up paying 60% of that original estimate from the dealership. European Motor Cars understands that by treating customers with respect and doing great work, they will more than make up that difference in the long run. They have earned both my continued business and a vocal endorsement to all of my friends.

Competent, honest and courteous staff! I was looking for a reputable service center specializing in Jaguar repairs. I discovered EMC while listening to Clark Howard on the radio and have taken my Jaguar here for the past three years. What a cost savings compared to the dealer!!! Louis is amazing (I love his little dog, Chewy) .....youll meet both when you visit the Alpharetta location. Ive always been treated fairly and their service is stellar. Theyve recently hired a technician with extensive Jeep experience so Ive been taking my Jeep there too! Highly recommend European Motor Cars to my friends, family....and to anyone reading this review!
