I would recommend any other dealer in the area, just not this one. My experience began in an inquiry over a Buick Lacrosse, after some texting with Abby or Kelly (not sure the name changes by the day). I drove 1 hour for an appointment to see the car. I reported to the front desk and was greeted with the gentleman screaming over the intercom "available sales rep to the front desk". That made me fell like a welcome customer. Then the sales rep pulls the filthy car around and after taking my ID states he has another appointment in 20 minutes so he will be "bouncing" back and forth. It was a Tuesday...were they really that busy ? Well he never bounced. After my test drive, I hang around and look around for my sales professional to return. He never did. Now I understand that the other couple he was working with was buying a new car and they should get the majority of his attention, but I had an appointment too, and have purchased a car from this dealer before....so that should mean something. After finding my sales rep in his office where he was with his other customers I quietly said that I would think about the car. I left the dealer and drove 1 hour home. I did some research and found they were priced about $400 too high on the car. So I email the dealer, and used sales manager some questions about the car as well as an opening offer from me for the car. My hope was to get at the Kelly blue book value of the car, thats what I wanted to pay...seemed fair. I probably would have paid full price if they would have cleaned the mud out of the wheel wells. I never heard one word back from them. Then the next morning I find out the dealer never returned my ID, shame on me for not noticing, but shame on them for not contacting me immediately upon finding it, because they had it and told me to come get it, after I contacted them and inquired. I just went to the DMV and got a new one, it was easier than a two hour drive. However, they still did not respond to my questions or my offer. They did agree to shred my old ID, which I hope they followed through on. Later that day, I receive a text from Kelly or Abby not sure who it was that time asking how I liked the Buick. I once again stated that I sent some questions and an offer over to the dealership and if they would respond, we could work a deal out TODAY. I heard nothing back from Kelly/Abby the sales rep, the used car manager.......but the darn car still sits online for sale. As mentioned the car needed to be cleaned, I was treated like my business was not important, and made to feel like an "bother". With all that said, I still wanted to buy their car. Pretty bad business decisons on their part, they could have sold a $7500 car two days ago with some simple courtesy.

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I had been looking for a SUV for about 6 months and had visited other dealerships. My experience at other dealerships and with other sales reps ranged from unimpressed to truly horrified. Then entire process was becoming a chore and not very positive. Then I came across the Beechmont Subaru web site and started browsing. I saw 2 vehicles that were of interest to me so I called Beechmont and asked to speak to a sales rep. Enter Jack Post. He was very nice on the phone and answered all my questions quickly and without any preassure. So I decided to pay him a visit. Within the hour I was standing in the showroom. Jack was with a customer who was taking delivery of their vehicle. While Jack assured me he would be right with me, I did notice that he never rushed his existing customer just because the next potential sale was waiting. A very good sign. I immediately knew that I would be a valued customer even after a purchase. I was impressed that Jack let me take the Forrester that I was interested in out for a test drive by myself. This was a different experience than other dealerships I had visited. Very nice. I like the Forrester very much and when I returned Jack and I sat down answer my questions and to discuss a purchase. Ok, so now I am expecting things to go south. Not so. Still a positive experience. At no time did Jack ask me if I was planning to finance the vehicle, nor did he ask me if I wanted to trade my car in. I had been warned not to entertain these questions during the negotiation of a vehicle purchase. We discussed the asking price and what I was prepared to spend on the vehicle and reached an agreement within 20 min. I asked about financing and decided to go that route and Jack just made it happen. The woman who handled my financing (sorry dont remember her name) was very nice and efficient. Very close to the end of the process I asked if there was a penality for early payment of the loan and she said yes. So I told her that I wouldnt finance if there was an early pay penality as I planned only to finance for a couple of months. She didnt even blink. She found me a comprable loan with no early pay penality and her smile never faultered. My vehicle was ready for me when promised. It was clean and I was very happy. Jack did call after a couple to days to ensure I was doing well with my new purchase. So long story short...... Great experience, great people, I will be recommending Beechmont Subaru and Jack Post to everyone I know and am looking forward to continuing my relationship with you through your service department. (which I suspect will also be excellent).

(this review contains my original and updated experience;the review was originally 4 stars) I was shopping around at a few dealerships before I landed at Beechmont Subaru. I dealt with Jack, an experienced salesperson. Our exchanges were concise, and I wasnt pushed or pulled in any direction. I got the car I came for at a price I felt comfortable paying. The service department botched up the car I purchased pretty bad though. They left the coolant covering off, and it went under the tire during the test drive, eating it up and making a lot of noise. I also realised they didnt hook my licence plate lights back up. The front bumper (which they had the front and rear off when I viewed the car) was also not installed correctly and is separates from the front left wheel well. Jack ordered the damaged part, and Im sure hell make right on the bumper install as well. Id deal with Jack and the dealership as a whole again. Edit: Ive reduced this review from 4 to 2 stars. After having the car for a while, I realized that the service department pulled some sort of fast one on my front bumper. It does not color match the rest of the car, also, something is wrong with the fitment, leading me to believe that the car was involved in an unreported fender bender and they just painted and slapped the bumper back on. It is a full 2 shades darker now, looking like that cigarette smoke shade of white, yellowish and off white. Now, whatever cheap paint they used is bubbling off as well. Have not had the car for 8 months, and this is not general wear and tear. They also were unable to fix the afformentioned bumper fitment that I was told would be fixed. Also, I contacted Jack, who I dealt with on the previous deal to try to swap the car out for an STi and obviously to trade the car in hoping hed work with me. Never heard from him again. Ill have to find a Dealership closer to me for the future.
