We have 2 serious complaints with this dealership. 1: When we originally went to the dealer we went in about another car. When we got there they said the check engine light came on and offered to show us another car. We had already lined up financing and needed a car desperately. They told us about how this was a sweet deal they were giving us by dropping the price to keep it in our range and how the manager had to approve it because it was such a good deal. We foolishly accepted because we were desperate(our only car had died that night and we lived paycheck to paycheck). This is more my fault that we fell for an obvious bate and switch but weve had nothing but problems with this car since weve gotten it, about 6 months ago. The second complaint is with the service department. Before the problems with the car I liked their service department. Now, I think they are either idiots or scam artists. Our brakes were making some noise so I took the car over for an oil change and asked them to check the brakes. They came back about an hour later and told me the brakes were fine, but I would need new tires and an alignment (which I knew) and that was the cause of the sound. I was skeptical but I decided to trust them because they were the professionals. They told me the brakes would be "green" until my next oil change, in a few months. 1 month and 11 days later (I have the paperwork so I know the exact date) with about the same amount of driving as normal I am metal on metal with my brakes. A couple hundred has probably turned into several hundred as a trusted family mechanic thinks I have to replace my rotor. I would not trust these people in the Subaru service department at all. After notifying the service department about this they offered set up an appointment and fix it if I paid them for the work. Ridiculous. The "best they could do" was get the parts to their shop in an hour. Avoid these people, go somewhere else. Unless you are buying a brand new car they will sell you a lemon and they have idiots in their service department.

My fiance and I were recently looking for a new vehicle after my old beater blew its transmission. We had the pleasure of working with the crew over at Kings Subaru for a second time. In the not so distant past, we had purchased a Crosstrex that we love, and were very pleased with the car buying experience we had. When we went to the lot this time we were hoping to work with Brandon S. again, but he was not in that day. We ended up working with Bob. He was very helpful, answered all the questions we had, worked with us to get the deal we wanted, and most importantly helped us feel at ease with the purchase. He really made it feel like he was there for us. Another solid part of the experience was working with Jorge the Used Car Manager. He came over to us right away after we drove the car, made some small talk, asked how we were liking the CrossTrex. It was like running into a friend you hadnt seen in a while. It was definitely what we were hoping to get in area of customer service. This really was what we were looking for when looking for a new vehicle. On top of all that I would not be doing the dealership justice if I did not mention Linda in their finance office. She had everything laid out perfectly, explained everything in detail, and helped us, once again feel very comfortable. Great job guys.

This was my first time buying a car and I went into the experience very nervous about not being taken seriously because I was a college aged female buying a car alone. I walked into the Kings Auto Mall Subaru dealership not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I went up to the counter and said I was looking for a car, the man asked what I was looking for, and I said I have no clue. He pointed me in the direction of a salesman and we started the process. He went over a few things, asked my price range, type of vehicle I was searching for, time frame for buying. Not once did he make me feel inferior or stupid about not knowing how the whole process worked or what I wanted. I test drove about three cars and left with many things to think about. I was originally looking at used cars, so i went to another Subaru dealership, was not impressed with the sales person, and returned to the Kings dealership. I told the salesman what I had decided on and that I needed it as soon as possible, he worked to find me the car I wanted in my price range and it was even the color I wanted. Overall, great experience, amazing customer service, friendly staff, stress-free first experience. The salesman even put my new license plate on for me when I called with questions.

This place is sketchy to buy a vehicle from. They had a Legacy that said ask dealer for pricing that we wanted to test drive. When we asked to drive it and the cost we were told its 25,000. We drove this demo car that had food crumbs and a smear that looked like lipstick on the dashboard. It was a very nice ride and the price seemed fair. Other dealers had similar cars for 23,998-26,000. When we return and say we like it, they say its actually going to be 27,529 or something close to that. We asked the sales person to ask the manager of they would honor the 25,000 she quoted. She refused to. She literally would not ask. She said that would be below what they paid for it. Its a demo car that had 10,000 miles. They should get less than they paid because it is used. That is besides the point though. A car sales person should do everything possible to work with a potential buyer. To refuse to ask a manager after zero negotiations had occurred is unacceptable. Positive side to this experience: I discovered Joseph Subaru in Florence. Every part of my experience there was exceptional and I bought a brand new legacy at a fair price. Ill also be getting both my Subarus serviced at Joseph Subaru after this experience.

Recently took my car in for 6k check up, oil change. Almost left because of large numbers of cars in drive, but talked to service writer anyway. Turns out none of the cars were there for the quick / express service so they took me right in. After relatively short wait I had my car back. When I left the lot and hit the brakes at the stop sign I heard what sounded like a scratchy noise in the brakes. I immediately went back to the dealership and told them about my dilemma . Turns out to shorten this story, the car was pulled back in, thoroughly checked out and it was requested I go for a ride with one of the mechanics. My " problem" turned out to be a large pool of oil that was tracked out on the highway from another dealership, and the " noise" I heard was the abs system doing what it was supposed to at the stop sign. I dont know the mechanics name who I rode with, but everyone at the dealership took time out to listen to my complaint and get it resolved quickly. I bought my car there because my wife bought one from the dealership in 10/16 from Rob . He made buying her car very easy and made my decision even easier. At the moment I have to give this dealership 5 stars. I hope it continues.
