Tobais and Tyson are hard, smart workers. They were kind and fun and got our belongings moved quickly and without a problem. When we called the office, we didnt always get the office staff on the first try, but be persistent and youll find very helpful people in the office too. They corrected a mistake in paperwork quickly and professionally. I read the other reviews here and was concerned, but Two Men and a Truck served us well and I will use them again when we move next year. This is what I found out: 1) Moving all of ones stuff in challenging and stressful and, in the end, its still all your own responsibility to look after your possessions and the condition of your home/apartment. The moving guys will do exactly as you request - just be there to manage and protect what you need to. Dont pass off personal responsibility - movers are not electricians who put on cloth booties to protect your home - moving all your junk with 2 Men/Truck is not at that level of customer service yet and dont expect it to be. Their hourly rate is relatively cheep for the hustling of tremendous pieces of furniture for you in all sorts of terrible weather and impossible landscapes (parking, tight staircases). Purchase floor protection if there is mud outdoors. People will be traipsing in and out - be prepared to vacuum afterward anyway - no biggie. Purchase mattress covers if you want your mattresses protected. The truck showed up with tons of moving blankets and all our furniture was well protected - but have some extra blankets (we used old retired household blankets) on hand if you are concerned about certain heirlooms. Point out items of concern to the guys so they will prioritize them. 2) Regarding estimates being off, I wasnt good at telling them how much stuff I actually had and I kept adding stuff (oh yeah, theres five things in the basement that need to be moved, all our stuff on the porch, and two big items in the yard!) and they still got it within the estimated range of hours. When you call to schedule the move, have a thorough list of all your items (number and types of furniture and number of boxes) so they can give you a proper estimate. ----------------------------------- I wish there had been some more constructive reviews on here to help me plan better, so I have tried to provide some to help the next person. "It is the customers responsibility to put floor protection down. We bring floor runners as a courtesy and have them in the door way. YOU MUST PROVIDE ANY OTHER PROTECTION THOUGHOUT THE HOUSE" the 2 movers, who were actually very through but unfortunately slow, tracked mud into my apartment throughout the morning. I made a video after the move and sent it to the local owner of 2 Mean and a Truck and informed them I was being charged for cleaning of my apartment because of the mud stains. The above response is what I got back. The response clearly showed no sympathy, empathy, and the all caps made me feel like a teenage girl had been part of the reply. There were many other issues I had also (my actual charges being over 50% more than the original estimate being one of them) and all blame/responsibility has been put back on me. If you are moving, hire anyone other than this company. I have never written a negative review of any company in my adult life, but this experience was so bad I felt posting was the only fair thing to do.

Paid to have kitchen and dining room packed. The work performed was quite poor and incomplete. I have pictures to document what those rooms look like after the move was completed. The move took much longer that anticipated so the cost was way too much. Feels like a bait and switch operation. I dont think this company is equipped or trained or disciplined enough to perform moves of 3 bedroom (7 total rooms) houses. It is also worth noting that the move was less than 20 miles away. Almost forgot. They didnt install the refrigerator correctly and left parts of it at the old house. Additionally, they throw away the wrapping, etc. in my trash can, filling it up many days before my next pickup. They left trash at the old house.

This company in Athens Ga. went above and beyond for me. I needed a mover for the next day since my previous moving plans fell through the day before. I desperately looked around and after explaining my situation to them they found a way to get me in the schedule and did a fantastic job. I realize that is not the norm with moving companies and I truly appreciate them working double or triple the time that day since I was not already scheduled. Tiffani was very nice and the guys moving me were awesome.

We have used this company twice. Once to move a four bedroom house and another time to move my husbands office. They are fast hard workers ...not once did i see anyone loitering or taking smoke breaks or anything else like ive observed when my neighbors were moving. I didnt realize how fantastic these guys were until i watched another local company move my neighbors out and ive never seen such disorganization and laziness. I am about to reserve them again for another upcoming move. Highly recommend.

An absolutely horrible company. Arrived two hours late - did not call to say they would be late until they were already late. Damaged furniture and promised they would fix it or pay for the damage but ignored any further contact about the issue then later claimed they were not responsible and refused to address the issue further. They are careless and will damage your furniture then deny any responsibility. Use any other company for your move!

The movers lost my mothers antique bike I was using (left it outside the apartment complex and got it stolen), and when we asked them where it was at the end, the MANAGER said "we arent in the business of solving your problems. We finished our job." Plus there were scratches and dings EVERYWHERE!

The guys who did our moving were fine and took great care of our stuff. Whoever did our estimates was off by 30% on the packing and 15% on the moving. Management was unresponsive to our complaints. Will not recommend.
