My wife and I hired Corrigan to move us from Michigan to Texas in the spring of 2011. I waited 9 months to write a review thinking I would get over the bad experience, I havent. I must say the total experience was upsetting, and I would not hire this company again. Upon talking with the sales agent, he stated that we could go to the main office and pick up boxes. The used boxes were free and the office was convenient for us (one of the reasons we hired this company). My wife went to the office to pick up boxes one day and when the individual that was helping her in the office introduced her to the warehouse personnel, the "gentleman" was very rude. He continued working and told her that she would have to wait a minute, and never looked up. Even the employee introducing her appeared embarrassed. Once he finally decided to help her, his demeanor did not improve. When loading up the boxes, she was trying to make the appropriate room in the bed of our truck. He told her to get out of the way and let him do his job. However, between the deep snow piles and him standing in her way, she was unable to this easily. She wound up knee deep in snow resulting her returning to work cold and wet. When the movers showed up I was talked into buying the insurance, my fault. I read on this and knew better but after getting 6 hours of sleep in 2 days I wasnt thinking clearly. As they unloaded the truck they knocked over or dropped 3 boxes breaking some crystal and personal items that are not replaceable. And silly me, buying the insurance the deductible was $1,000 (total lose was just over $800) so they wouldnt cover any of the damages. The only plus side was the driver showed up and delivered on time.

Corrigan was very professional and provided excellent service. Ralph was our salesperson and gave us all the information we needed to prepare for our move from MI to TX. He was responsive when we had questions and gave us good suggestions on how to pack items such as lamps, framed photos etc. ( we did our own packing.). Corrigan has an excellent website with guides for every step of the moving process. We were also given contacts at Corrigan if we were unsure about anything. Corrigan called us a couple of times to see if we were clear on everything and to answer any questions we might have. On moving day Jim and Raymond arrived at exactly 8:00 am, the time that was promised us. Jim and Ray did an outstanding job preparing our furniture for the move and loading the truck with our many boxes. They worked without break they were friendly but did their job. There were no scratches left on our walls or floor! When they arrived in Texas Jim and Ray did an equally outstanding job unloading our inventory. Then as pre-arranged they delivered some of our furniture to our sons apartment. This was a difficult delivery that required that they carry furniture up a hill and then up a flight of stairs. Never once did they complain. We recommend Corrigan for your moving needs. The price was right and we were 100% satisfied.

I have some great feedback to share about Kristy from your team. My company provided me a list of relo companies when I found out I was moving to the UK. I reached out to a few and found the relo reps to be unprofessional and quite difficult to work with. Then I reached out to Corrigan and Kristy responded, and that was about the best thing that could have happened. I was dealing with an international move, and my home flooding just before I was supposed to pack up and move out, and Kristy was an amazing resource. She ensured the inventory could be done the day before my insurance adjustor was to come to assess the damage to my home and belongings, on very short notice. She coached me through completion of my inventory and shipment paperwork. She booked the movers quickly and efficiently. She ensured the day of the move went smoothly and was available to answer questions that the movers and I had. She has kept in close contact to help get my things to me here in the UK now that I have a place to live. I cannot tell you how grateful I was to have such an incredible resource available to me, especially at such a trying time. I had an incredible experience with your company. Keep up the good work.

Communication on our challenging international move was a prime requirement. Corrigan (and explicitly the Corrigan agent Kristy) more than met my expectations, and I have high expectations. My questions were _all_ _promptly_ answered. Kristy was very reachable, if she wasnt available immediately when I called, she always called back shortly. e-mail communications equally met my demands. If information wasnt available, she told me when to expect to receive it, and the she followed through and got it o me. All of the information I required (including a ton I wasnt aware of) was given to me on a very timely basis so I had plenty of headroom to jump through the hoops. I felt that the estimate was very fair and the bill came in on target, once again, no surprises. Bill dont like surprises. The local contract movers were at the door when they said they would be, came with plenty adequate packing, and beat their estimated time to pack us up. Do you get the impression I cannot say enough good about Corrigan? Well, youre right.

So far its been a great experience. Most of our stuff is in storage so we havent had the delivery experience yet. Sevices provided included some packing of valuables and moving to storage. Best I can tell, pricing was fair and a good value. Service was timely, considerate, and thorough. I am certain that there were things that we could have done to be better prepared, but at no point did anybody on the crew comment to that effect. So for the parts that matter and can be judged by the customer it was an excellent experience. Next move for us will be to merge our belongings from our temporary housing in Saginaw with the stuff we have in storage and move it all out of state. When I asked the crew chief if they could do that, his reply "aboslutely, we can do whatever the customer needs". Great attitude. Wish I could name all the people who were part of our project to express appreciation.

We first used Corrigan in 2007 when my company, who had a contract with them, moved us the Europe for an Ex-pat assignment. They did a great job on a complex move, where we had stuff shipping to Europe and stuff remaining in Michigan in a storage vault. They were helpful in keeping us organized with the sticker tracking system. Needless to say when we decided to move on our own in 2015, we solicited many quotes from local movers and once again we decided to go with Corrigan. The pricing was extremely competitive and again they delivered on great customer service. Even though we had different crews when we moved out of the old house and into storage and than a few months later moving into the new house. They were all very professional and did a great job in not breaking anything or damaging any walls and floors. We have a strong recommendation to use Corrigan for your future move.
