WORST move of my life. Because we moved from a large home Men on the Move totally underestimated the scope of the move. They did not did not supply enough manpower or enough trucks, they should never have excepted the job.on the very last night before we had to give possession to the new owners there were still many items still to be put on trucks but they had run out of trucks. Further there was a collection of seven specimen Japanese maples one in a $900 pot and no way to move them. Many items which were partially Obscured were left behind even though they were pointed out to the foreman.. Many of our antiques were damaged. One freezer was missing its handle (never did find it) When we finally reached our Florida home we were presented with a bill more than DOUBLE what we were told the move would cost. After contacting an attorney Men on the Move did refund $6000 but this did not come close to covering the value of the items broken and the items left behind. If you have 2500 sf home Men on the Move can probably do an adequate job. I do not think they are capable of moving a larger home. One concept that is completely foreign to Men on the Move is that shelves for a cabinet should stay with the cabinet and the motors to make a Number Bed work should stay with the bed. Because we had a lot of items put in storage it took us over a month before we had beds because mattresses were in the home and the mechanics to male them work were buried in storage. This move was over a year ago and there are still items we have not found. VERY DISAPPOINTING MOVE WOULD NEVER USE A SMALL MOVING COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!!!

My husband and I had a very positive, excellent experience with "Men on the Move". Jeff and Scott helped us move a decent amount of furniture and boxes (and a long, bulky 2-person kayak!) from our home in NWGA to our lake house in Hayesville, NC. My husband and I have had to move multiple times over the last few years for various reasons but we both commented that this was by far one of the easiest and actually "pleasant" moves that we have ever had (a word we never thought we would use for moving). Jeff and Scott showed up perfectly on time and from the moment they arrived they were cheerful and helpful and very careful with all of our furniture and our walls. The drive to Hayesville took about 3 hours and though the movers said they would be stopping for lunch, they arrived much quicker behind us than we had thought so we were able to unload everything much sooner than we had thought we would, which was wonderful. This gave us extra time for putting together furniture, which they also stayed and helped us with and did a great job on that as well. I really cannot say enough about how great they both were and how impressed we were with the company. We will not hesitate to recommend "Men on the Move" to others in the future.

I used Men On the Move two times; once when moving our items to our daughters garage because our house was not quite ready. They did a fair job that time and suggested I call them when it was time to move into the house. A few weeks later a different crew came and apparently there was some miscommunication. I had scheduled them for a minimum of four hours but they were in a hurry and wanted to leave after three hours because they had another job. Much of my furniture was scratched, dented or broken. There were refrigerator parts missing that I had seen them remove that same day in order to clear a door. When the owner called me to see if she could resolve the situation she told me shed have a "furniture guy" call and come make repairs. He called but has never shown up. Its been over six months and I would never use these people again primarily because they do not follow up.

James and Ben moved us the day after Thanksgiving (2016). They were awesome! Not a minute was wasted in getting our household loaded and unloaded. They were on time, very professional, courteous and they hustled! Once we have found our next home, we will request Ben and James as they are without question..."Men on the Move"! WOW! We have just moved from Blairsville to Maryland and THAT part of the move couldnt have been better! Duane, Scott and Byron arrived on time and had our four bedroom house loaded within three hours . . . had been estimated to be four and a half. Delivery day same on-time arrival and Duane and Scott had us unloaded with everything placed as we wanted it in less than three hours. The guys couldnt have been more efficient and nicer. I would certainly recommend them to anyone!
