I had been going to this shop for simple stuff (oil change, brake pads, tire rotation) for a few years as a return customer. I ended up making the choice to never revisit this shop again after getting new brake pads put on and then Killians royally messing up. To make a long story short, it seems they over tightened something when they put the new pads on, halfway home I realize smoke coming from my wheel wells, wheels are burning hot when I check, immediately call to bring the truck back around. On the way back, my brakes pretty much give out almost completely - literally having to push my brake pedal heavily to the floor to even attempt a 50ft stop. Get the car back to the shop and they tell me theyll fix the pad issue, but the part that gave out is completely unrelated and they want me to pay an extra $250 to replace it. This was clearly a load of crap because my truck had never exhibited any issues braking before this visit. After some irritating back and forth, they decided to replace the part and accept fault. God forbid I had been on the highway and not small back-roads when my brakes gave out...it clearly couldve ended worse than it did. As if the shoddy mechanic work, arguing fault, and endangerment was not enough; it is now about 1 year past this event and come to find out that at the time of the brake pad replacement, they had also cross threaded one of my lugnuts which resulted in a bolt breaking loose when I was recently rotating my tires. $100 later at the closest shop and now it finally seems the damage Killians had done is finally over. Ive already told my family to avoid this shop at all costs and Id give below a 1 star rating if I could. For anyone who reads this review, there is a local family shop that has been around for generations named Vaughn Exxon and theyre only a few miles down the road. Theyre truly honest mechanics there and much more trustworthy. Only suggesting another place because a good mechanic is hard to come by. Hope this review has helped someone make up their mind to avoid Killian. I know this probably isnt everyones experience, but the severe lack of professionalism and work quality they presented to me is enough for me to try to warn others.

I love, love, love these guys! Their VIP card has saved us a bunch over the years and its well worth the money. They are honest, and Ive never once felt taken advantage of there. In fact, most of the times Ive come in there worrying about something, they check it out and tell me its fine. Just today, they changed my flat tire for free, tightened the handles on the back of my headrests (also for free), and put the jack back in the spare tire wheel well when the folks at Firestone couldnt figure out how to do it (yes, free). They will pick me up and drop me off at my house when I have to leave my car for an extended period. Their waiting area is always clean and well appointed. I havent found them to be any more expensive than other independent shops, and theyre certainly cheaper than the dealership. They also donated free oil changes to my charitys annual fundraiser. The only drawback would be that they stay pretty busy, so you need to make an appointment a day or two in advance. Its not the best place for walk-ins.

I have used Killian Automotive for three years and each time I have been treated with courtesy and respect. I always feel they have my best interest at heart and they always consider my pocketbook!!!! They take me home after dropping off my car and always pick me up in a timely manner. They explain exactly what they are going to do and if I question anything they answer me in an understandable manner. I have never in my experience had such a nice, courteous service staff as a Killian Automotive. They rank off the charts for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my car always is fixed!!!!!!!!!!

We finally found our trustworthy family mechanic! We knew found good knowledgeable honest people just from the phone call before bringing in our Chevy. Once they had our vehicle the reassured us, communicated early and often and never made us feel and sales like pressure. They were all about making sure they informed us of our options. The repair was finished early. The final bill was less than what was quoted. I call these guys for anything now and they never mind getting back to me same day. Like others said its worth a trip to Canton.

Im a pretty fussy and discerning client. I wont take my car just any place. Killian Automotive is the ONLY place I will take my car. This decision is based on many years of receiving consistent, excellent, and honest work. The entire staff is warm and very friendly and totally dedicated to making each persons experience a positive one. Tim Lanier is a hands on owner and makes a point of knowing his customers and making sure they are satisfied. I highly recommend Killian for all of your automotive needs - You wont be disappointed.

This place is amazing! Fair, honest, quick and great communication! As a single mom, Im terrified of car repair shops. I am at their mercy! But here at Killians I have NO worries at all. I have watched them have multiple people walk in the door, they look at the vehicle, fix something small and send them on their way- no cost! THAT earned my trust. Go to Killians and know that you dont have to worry they will overcharge you or worse, brake something intentionally. Killians = Integrity (who you are when no one is looking)!

My mother has been going here for years. She is over 70 years old and has an older model Honda. They always take great care of her. Just damn good people who execute quality work at a great price. I just had my tires installed here. Work was completed on time and tires look great. By the way, clean waiting area with access to internet and refreshments. Waiting for your car or truck is no problem. If you are looking for honesty and professionalism in the automobile repair area this should be your first stop.

Darryl was so helpful to me when we learned we had to purchase a new transmission for our sons Ford Explorer. He went out of his way to ensure that we received quotes on both a certified and non-certified transmission from Ford. The work that the technicians performed exceptional. The turnaround time was 2 days, and they called on a Saturday for pickup. That is above and beyond, especially when you understand being without a car for a couple of days. Thanks Killian Automotive - you guys hit a grand slam!
