They werent mostly unfriendly but they were definitely trying to cheat me out of false money and problems as best they could. I went in to get my brakes replaced a couple months ago and after they had it up for about a half hour (they were pretty full up at the time though) they came in saying I had the wrong rotors on my vehicle and they were damaging the wheels and the brakes were doing worse to it as well. They also came in with the results for balancing the tires and they claimed the cars frame was too bent to even attempt balancing anything. They outright refused to do anything to it. The guy was claiming he was about to "legally restrict me from leaving" because "they were so worn". At the end they were going to charge me $680 just to replace the brakes and rotors with $250 in labor (labors always higher than it should be but they said it would take two hours to replace them which is absolutely insane. Its a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, you literally just slide the old rotor off and put the new one on and put the one bolt to the caliper back and youre done. [My family cant afford to pay swindlers so I immediately went home, took out the protection plans on my brakes and rotors at AutoZone (their rotors were $25-$35 each for front and back pep boys wanted $80 for each; either way they were free for me from the plans at Autozone), and replaced all of it on my own with mediocre tools in 3 and a half hours and gained $12 from it all after I turned in the old rotors and brakes. The previous rotors were not wrong, I took them into AutoZone and the head manager laughed and said they were 100% correct and showed me online the model numbers and parts were legit. The cars frame turned out to be fine and I had them balanced by someone else and theyre 100%, and the cars wheels are totally fine as well. Dont go here for repairs and if you do make sure you bring your second guessing hat. YouTube can make your day so much cheaper take 5 minutes to look before you spend over half a grand for them.

Had my front brakes done in December and then back drum brakes done in March. Fully replaced, all pads, front rotors, back drums etc. for around $1000 between the two jobs. After the back brake job my brakes were making a terrible squeaking noisy and would even squeak when I wasnt pressing the break and smelled bad. I took the truck back three times for them to get the problem fixed. Their were never able to fix it and finally said it wasnt the breaks or their problem. Never charged me for the additional work done to try to fix the problem, but also never actually fixed the issue. Will never use them again for any kind of work. UPDATE: 10/4/2016 I was still having significant issues after several months so I took the truck back to see if they could find anything wrong. Due to the wear on the breaks they were able to determine one of the new back drum breaks was sticking in the active position causing the smell, brake lock up, noise issues, etc. They replaced the parts at no additional cost. The one thing I will say is that Barry stood behind his work and never made me pay an extra cent to fix the problem. Problems and mistakes are a fact of life, its what you do with them that makes you stand out. That is the reason I changed my review from 1 star 4.

This was my first visit to this Pep Boys location and I only have positive things to say about it. Every person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. I brought in the wrong coupon that was for a conventional oil change instead of an oil change with synthetic oil and they honored it anyways. The visit ended up taking longer than expected and the manager apologized about the wait and even went a step further to make up for it by knocking more off my bill. I ended up getting the discount from the wrong coupon and a discount for the wait. They performed the oil change that I needed and didnt try and get more out of me. It was obvious they valued me as a customer and went above and beyond to make up for my wait. I was very impressed with everything about this location and I will be sure to give them my business in the future.

This Pep Boys is amazing! I was graciously helped by Jeremy and Blake, who were kind, honest, and fast. My low tire pressure light was flashing even after I would fill it up with air. I took my car to Pep Boys without an appointment close to closing time and they saw me anyway. They found a huge nail in my tire and when I was distraught over having to buy a new tire, they assured me that they could plug it up for me. They could have sold me a new tire and made so much money but this business is not about cheating you! Not only did they plug up the hole, they also adjusted and cleaned my other three tires! All of this service was done for me at no cost, for FREE! This business is clearly about people and not about money. They just earned themselves a lifetime customer. I am even moving soon but will still come to this Pep Boys.

Really good customer focus. They are reasonably priced and are willing to ensure that your car is roadworthy every step of the way. They gave me a sensible time frame after setting me up with an appointment for the next day due to being backed up. They even fixed the washer fluid resivoir without a charge or mention. And after showing me all the things that needed to be repaired let me know what was urgent and allowed me to decide what I could afford to get done. Sixx stars guys

I love this place! David was the one I had the most communication with. He explained everything so I was kept completely up to speed, kept me updated on the service of the repairs and was super friendly, understandable and helpful! I felt they were very fair and honest, they dont try to sell you on stuff you dont genuinely need and they are not pushy whatsoever! I will definitely keep going back! Thank you Pepboys! My wife had a nail in her tire, asked if they could please plug the tire and they responded with "I dont have time for small jobs like that". So I called the corporate office and explained that I wont be going back but maybe local management would like to know. Point is, just go to Jonses Tire in Acworth, though I like a quarter mile from Pep Boys, Ill just make the 30 minute trip there from this day forward. Max Lewin

I couldnt be happier with my experience at the new pep boys off of sixes road. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by three different employees. Jeremy and Barry were very knowledgable of the tires they offered me. I bought the BF Goodrich g force tires for my 2014 Toyota Corolla. Great service and fair prices! Thanks again Jeremy and Barry! I will be back and recommend everyone to go there to see yall!

My van had a near blowout coming back from holiday this past weekend. Pulled off the side of the road and found this location. They were closing in an hour but still fit me in to put on a new tire. Customer service was excellent. Very clean and tidy waiting room. I have had not so great experiences at other Pep Boys locations but I couldnt recommend this one enough.
