On March 3rd I had $1,844 worth of repairs done to my Chevy S10. Of that amount $718 was for diagnosing my check engine light and replacing the evap charcoal canister, evap canister vent solenoid and evap vent control valve and having a tune up completed. This was the work their mechanic recommended to solve the check engine light problem. I had to return 3 additional times, each time being within 2 days of the visit to have them check again why the check engine light kept coming on. Now, 30 days after having the initial repair completed, the check engine light is back on. I have very serious doubts that the initial repairs consisting of the evap equipment and the tune up were ever warranted. After having visited the Dacula shop 4 times for the same ailment it is becoming evident their mechanic is not knowledgeable on emission systems. I feel taken advantage of and shall not return to their shop. If you receive an estimate from Joey Watkins please have a second estimate done by a reputable shop. I was taken advantage of and I hope to let the unsuspecting know of the horrible experience I received.

They tried to rob me to the tune of $680.took my truck in for an alignment after replacing ALL front end parts(bearings,ball joints,tie rod ends...etc...)told me most of it had to be replaced.lol.ive been a mechanic for many years and know what Im doing.the only reason I brought it to them was for camber adjustment as I dont have the tools to degree it!!!! Total rip off and has been reported to the BBB!!!!! Also,when I called them on their bs,they all got real defensive and wanted to have words and called me an idiot and boy?? Very professional there "red".tried to call and talk directly to Joey and guess what? He was always out of the shop???lol.hope that place and most of its employees go belly up!!!!!bunch of lazy crooks!!!

This was my first time visiting this location and I have nothing but positivity to share. I came in about 5:30 on a Monday with two bad tires. Jason was able to diagnose the problem, order the new tires, and I picked my vehicle up the next day. They called me before adding anything else on. The price I paid matched the quote I received the previous day. It is extremely difficult to find a good mechanic, much less a great one. Joey and his team are wonderful and wont look at you like youre an idiot if you dont completely understand whats going on.

In October, my wife was about to make a 75 mile trip in our minivan when it started shuddering and shaking about 35 miles an hour. We went to our regular mechanic and he recommended we see Joey Watkins for CV joints. We had the CV joints and the front tires replaced quickly, and at a reasonable cost, and she was able to be on her way. The team was courteous and probably spared my wife from being stranded on the side of the road, or worse yet, having some kind of catastrophy. I would highly recommend this store.

I love Joey Watkins. My family has been going there for years. As a mechanics granddaughter I seldom take my vehicle to a shop but this is one place I trust. When I got a new car and had issues I decided to go to the Chevy dealership instead of taking it to Joey. I was almost screwed over. They tried to tell me my tire couldnt be repaired and I had to get 2 brand new $250 tires. I left there and went to Joey. They plugged my tire at no cost. They are honest and I love it.

Joey and his crew have been taking care of our personal and work vehicles for many years. Their prices and quality of the work done are outstanding! Very trustworthy, always thorough, and affordable prices. Sometimes the work done can take a little longer than expected, but worth the wait based on their quality of work. I have been taking my cars to Joey for over 9 years now. In that time, they have always been very courteous and professional. Like most businesses, they strive to do their best but several times have dropped the ball. When that has happened, Joey has gone out of his way to correct any problems and make it right. That speaks volumes about his concern for his customers and doing the right thing when it counted most. Thank you Joey and the rest of your staff

This was the shop that everyone in my neighborhood recommended, and I can see why. Good service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and completely fair pricing. The only downside to their well earned reputation is that lots of people know how good they are so its usually pretty busy. Plan on dropping off your car or bring a good book. Better yet, bring your laptop and use the free WiFi they offer their customers.

Wife had a nail in her tire so asked me what to do.I told her to see Joeys guys they will take care of you.She started complaining that shes a girl and mechanics take advantage of girls after I informed her joey is not that way she reluctantly went after just a few minutes later she called me back and said the work was done and it was free! This is to clarify that the review below from May 30, 2010 is totally inaccurate. The Better Business Bureau HAS NOT suspended Joey Watkins membership and if fact rates them as an A+. I have found Joey Watkins Tire to be one of the most customer focused around. Its too bad that the poster below had to resort to lies in his review

Ive been coming here since I moved to the area about 9 years ago. There is free fast wifi. The lobby is comfortable. There is also TV and coffee. Prices seem reasonable. Its so hard to price compare on auto repairs. They are easy to deal with. They do offer limited shuttle service if you ask and they are not super busy.

Ive seen prettier shops, but Im not looking for a pretty shop. Joey spends the money on quality mechanics and equipment! He is a stand up guy, and his customers are his number one priority. If your mechanic does not provide the best service money can buy, then go see Joey! You wont be disappointed.

I took my older Porsche in for an alignment. Pep Boys said they couldnt do it and Kauffman wanted to charge extra because it was "exotic". They did a great job and actually charged me less than the original quote. Who does that? A year later and the alignment is holding up great.

They always take good care of my car here. I would say they go above and beyond expectations with their service. They are usually fast, but because of the good service they are often busy so its best to arrive as early as possible or else drop your car off overnight.

They are an honest business who do quality work quickly. On my last visit, my repair ended up being $100 less than what I was quoted, and another time they didnt even charge me for what turned out to be a minor fix. I highly recommend Joey Watkins.
