Maxine is a liar and she tried to scam me and my mom today when we went in to rent a truck. We went all the way home and started to move our things when we got a phone call from her asking us to bring the truck back to the facility. When we get there some guy named "CW" who specializes in moving things meets us at the door and claims hed be going back to our home to help us move our things before taking the truck (red flag right). So my mom goes to speak with Maxine and it turns out that she had ILLEGALLY added a man (CW) who we didnt know to our contract and we would ultimately be responsible for and paying for whatever nonsense he planned on doing in that truck. Not to mention we were unable to move our things and we still ended up paying for the truck. And when you call corporate the number brings you back to your local office. Another customer walked in while we were there complaining of some weird charges. ALSO Maxine is a GREAT actress because when we busted her scam she suddenly started having high blood pressure problems and turned red. Id turn red too if I was caught lying and illegally altering a contract. Stay away from this place. Maxine needs to be FIRED and I will not stop until someone with real power addresses this issue.

I left this facility because my door was hanging for 3 weeks after putting in a work order to have it repaired. It finally fell completely off and I notified to manager but she seemed to be clueless of how she could help me. Ive tried multiple numbers in order to reach the corporate office but had all failed attempts. I had only been there for about 3 months. Horrible experience. I dont recommend this to anyone that has to open up their storage doors on a daily basis. The doors arent made for it and they are super slow on repairs. I felt as if the manager kept brushing me off because she didnt want to deal with it. My unit was not the only one with a damaged door when I left 3 days ago.

Last week I relocated to the Atlanta area and Uncle Bobs Self Storage on Candler Road was recommended to me by a relative. I was greeted by the manager, James Taylor. He was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He was thorough in his explanation to me in how the contract with the facility worked and was very accommodating when I requested to see the storage units he had that would accommodate my belongings. The units were clean as were the grounds. Even though I rented from a different facility closer to where I moved, I just wanted to commend Mr. Taylor on his knowledge and professionalism. I would recommend this facility to my friends or family.

Maxine is one of the nicest people Ive ever met. She is polite, courteous, friendly, and handles herself in a professional manner always. No matter how busy she may be, she always takes the time to hear you out and help you solve any issue you may be having. I have two units here at Uncle Bobs. Three times I was charged for a third unit. Thats an additional $103 each time. Maxine stayed on top of it. She called the head office and sent emails. She stayed in touch with me until the issue was resolved and I had all my money refunded. For me she is much more than an agent; shes a friend.

I highly recommend this company for all of your storage needs. I had an excellent experience renting from Uncle Bobs Self Storage (Life Storage). The customer service is outstanding. Miss. Maxines professionalism is exceptional. She is kind, pleasant & makes sure everything is taken care of. Miss. Maxine maintains the grounds as if she is caring for her own property. I had great sense of safety & trust while storing my personal belongings here. I will come back if/when I need extra space to store my important items. Thank you!

Hey, its a storage unit. Access is not the easiest - Candler/I20 interchange can get busy and you have to bully your way out of the facility a bit. The previous management had a habit of screwing up billings and locking people out of their unit for no reason but Uncle Bobs seems to be OK so far. new access gate installed but NOT 24 HOUR ACCESS. This is a problem for working people if you need to get to your unit before 6am (as I often do).

If your in need of great storage with low prices. then look for uncle bobs storage in decatur ga.call and ask for the helpful team of kim and justin. They really know how to make u feel rite at home. with quick fast easy service and low prices that cant be beat!so! Sor last minute storage just remember to call and ask for kim or justin! They really helped me in a last minute storage problem!

Ive had the best experiences and Im happy with the service. Ive had My things here for a while now, an everyone is great. If youre big on customer service like I am then this is the place to be. There is always someone there to answer the phone as well as in the office. Everyone here works as a team. I would recommend and give a five star rating for storing here.
