While working on a job about an hour from home, I stopped at a gas station, and my vehicle would not crank. I had to get home, and didnt really know what to do. I found ABS nearby which interested me because they do towing and repairs. Since it was mid-afternoon, I had resigned myself to renting a car and heading home. The folks at ABS saved me a great deal of time, money, and hassle, because they stayed after hours to make sure the truck was fixed, so I could get home without renting something and wasting half a day coming back to get my vehicle tomorrow. To top it all off, this happened the week of Christmas! Repair was fairly priced, much cheaper than it would have been back home. Even short-staffed, they stayed to take care of me, a customer who may never break down in this area again. Im thankful to have ended up with ABS. I believe that they are professionals who will help you out if youre ever in a pinch.

I WENT HERE AWHILE BACK TO GET MY 85 CUTLASS WORKED ON.ALL I NEEDED WAS A FEW MINOR REPAIRS, TUNE UP, AND DUAL EXHAUST PUT ON.SINCE I LIVE NEAR THE SHOP I MADE SURE I DROVE PAST EVERYDAY TO SEE IF MY CAR HAD BEEN MOVED OR WORKED ON.A WEEK LATER MY CAR WAS IN THE SAME SPOT AS IF MY CAR WASNT AS IMPORTANT AS EVERYONE ELSES.AFTER 2 WEEKS OF BULL$$HITTIN THEY HAD BARELY WORKED ON MY CAR.I CALLED ALL THE TIME AND KEPT GETTING THE RUN AROUND.THEY TOLD ME THEY ONLY GOT THE TUNE UP AND THE MINOR REPAIRS DONE.OR SO THEY SAID.I SAID FINE ID PAY FOR WHAT YOUVE DONE AND THATS IT.I GOT A MILE DOWN THE ROAD AND MY CAR FAILED.I HAD NO POWER.SO TO MAKE THIS LONG STORY SHORT DO NOT GO HERE.TOTAL RIP-OFFS

I would give a -5 if I could. I was stranded waiting for the tow truck and called to check the status. The woman who answered acted as if she could not hear me and repeatedly hung up on me. Mind you it was after dark in a high crime area and the restaurant was closing. I called from a different phone and asked if she could hear me and the woman proceeded to continue with her rude, unprofessional behavior instead of trying to reassure me that I was in good hands and safe. The worst Ive ever dealt with.

I took my car in for a simple repair. Should be about $80, I am good with that. When I pick it up after 2 days my bill is over $300. You would think they would call or tell me when I called after the first day to check on it. The scary thing is they said they replaced parts that I had just inspected. I can understand one mistake but they replaced four parts 2 on each side that where ok, remember I just inspected them. This happened twice to me at this business. Take my advice and DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!

I locked my keys in the trunk of my rental car. Avis sent one guy who was no use. The guy from ABS arrived at 3.30 am and when he learned my valuable bicycle was in the trunk he refused to take it to the Atlanta compound as Avis had recommended, on the grounds that I would never see my bike again. He worked for an hour, not giving up until he found a way into the trunk. This saved me an immense amount of hassle and I can only say that his dedication and service was second to none.

My insurance company arranged to have my car towed with ABS and I am happy they did. Excellent service from the lady I spoke with on the phone to the man who towed my car. Bonus: they only use flat beds. P.S. this review was originally written 2/3/15 and their service was so outstanding I requested them again tonight, 10/24/16 when needing another tow!!!

Dont take your car here for repairs. Its the worse service and they lie about what your car needs. They lied over phone saying what they done to my car but when I got to the shop nothing was done. I must say the mechanics are lazy and out for money. Im reporting them to the Better Business Bereau after my experience with ABS Automotive.

ABS is the only company in the Douglasville, Whitesburg area that would tow my truck out of the mud. Several others said they didnt have a winch that sounds crazy to me. They arrived in 90 minutes from my call (I was at least 30 miles away from them) and pulled me out in just a few minutes. Appreciated their assistance.
