Went there for squeaky brakes. Told Donnie the owner I was afraid of getting parts I dont need and being overcharged. He said he would only replace what was needed and nothing more (see below). He also said the repair would only take an hour or less. 4 hours later my car came down off the rack and the price was over $300. He said I needed a part within my brakes and even though I didnt need pads, they changed them anyway ($140 more). Disgusted and tired of being there all day watching his tattooed skin head slow workers work like slugs, I drove out and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor! I had to go back. Donnie seemed highly annoyed (at me!!!) and said it was supposed to go to the floor when I step on the brakes. I said, "No sir, it was tight and at the top of the pedal movement range." Another 45 minutes later after slug watching I left again and unbelievable the pedal went to the floor. I went back (humble and nice lady that I am) and he was ANGRY AT ME. He slammed a door and threw a clipboard. 45 minutes later he left in my car and came back saying, "I locked it down and left a big black mark so your brakes work fine. Sorry about all your stuff that fell into the floor." Excuse me, but anti-lock brakes dont leave a black mark. I went looking for one but there was no black mark in the 4 miles I went. He lied. He took my money for things I didnt need. I felt afraid when he threw an angry tantrum. Stay away from him. Mr. Tire is just around the corner. Hiram Auto is just over the RR tracks. Dont be deceived by the image he tries to portray.

Ill tell you who not to recommend is Donnies Auto. I really hate that too because Donnie SR goes to our church, but this situation has really put us in a pickle. My Son and his wife took their car up to Donnie to have a clutch installed. They paid for the clutch and Donnie just charged labor. He first told them it would take a couple days, it took a whole week. Then Donnie called my DIL and said that the car was ready she could only drive it 12 miles before the car would not shift anymore. Donnie said no worries we will make it right and said it needed a master cylinder and he would have it by the end of the day. They bought the part ( my sone and DIL ) and brought it up to the shop when asked if it was the correct part Donnie Jr who had been working on the car said im not sure Ill have to look at it. After 3 days that Master cylinder had still not been put in the car so my husband said Ill do it and come get the car. If he couldnt get it we would return the car to Donnies. When we picked up the car not a drip of fluid was in the car so we had to put brake fluid in it. The we could not get the clutch to bleed so we took it back to Donnies. Donnie said that the car had been messed up and that he had to do everything over and recharge 480 dollars. I do not think this is honest since it was not done in the first place. I would love some advice on what to do

A very good guy to know, I am very happy to have been referred to you, you fixed the Lincoln, it runs AMAZING, this was a problem child set straight lol, you do great work and GOD bless your entire business. Anyone needing a honest mechanic and good solid shop that knows what they are doing go here!!! I was sent by Josh at grease monkey mobile mechanic and he knew that you were the right guy for the job. to describe in detail to the general public what Donnies did, I had bought a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, very cool fast car, it was over heating, replaced thermostat water pump before I ever got there, still over heating, boggled to say the least, well he figured it out, believe it or not I needed a new radiator, and a few other things well it was priced right and he did great work, I drove the car for 2 hours and no more heating and cooling issues, seeing that this is my only means of transportation at the moment I was happy to get it back, I have a few other work vans that you will be getting all of my business on thank you again, thank you thank you thank you thank you.... God has blessed you with the ability to help people and you did just that. come to find out he also is a minister of New Life church and has a radio station that I will become one of his listeners to, he absolutely will treat you right. I have found my mechanic for life. P

Un-Professional to say the least! I wish I had read the reviews before going here. Donnie hides behind his "Christian" forsade and his behavior is anything but "Christian" I took my vehicle there for him to R&R the transmission..I was quoted a price from Donnie,,,and quoted a price from the company that was going to do the rebuild. When told to come in to put down a deposit..the amount was different. When I asked him about it, he said the difference was from the transmission company. I called the transmission company and they said NO, their price was firm. When I asked Donnie about it he got really irate with me...and could not explain the difference. Donnie hung up the phone on me...when I went in to pick up my vehicle...he raised his voice, got loud, etc. When I told him he was losing a good customer (This was my first time at this shop) He said he did not care and did not need my money. Put it simply, a jerk. Dont question Donnie about what he charges...Oh no, unless you want to get into an altercation. I Hope you read reviews before you decide to go here...a lesson learned!!

I have been in here a few times, Donnie has always been courteous to me, I dunno whats up with these bad reviews? His per hour rates are comparatively low, and he doesnt charge more than the part store does for the parts. When I take my car in, they have it accurately diagnosed within 10 min. I am mechanically inclined, Im just too lazy to do the work sometimes, these guys have never suggested that I replace something that doesnt need repair. For example, if there is a leak- they wont waste your money fixing just a gasket to fix a leak. The part inside is usually badly worn- due to the leak- and will need to be replaced very soon. So why charge you to remove those parts twice? As a business, its called covering your butt! Would you put on dirty underwear after you take a shower? Then why would you put a worn out part under a fresh, new seal? Give the guy a chance, his guys know what theyre doing.

never ever take your car to donnies.. youll leave with the same problems and then some! sad part is he states that he is christian. hes anything but a christian! a real christian wouldnt deliberately lie to their customers and not fix what has been paid for. we took our car to donnies for two years! and in that two years the car would run right for a month. and stay broke down for a month and so on and so forth. and thats the way it went for the longest of time. last week a friend of ours who owns his on lawn care service referred his friend whos a mechanic to us. he knew exactly what the problem was! we bought the part and he fixed it for $80 dollars. and guess what! for the first time in two years the car drives like its brand new! well never ever take our automobiles to donnie again nor will we recommend him to anyone!
