I scheduled an oil change online (Douglasville Pavillion location) and arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time. I was told to have a seat while they got mileage etc. from car. I never heard anything else for over an hour when I went back up front and they were all sitting around talking personal stuff. I interrupted and asked how long it would be and my car was parked out front. The car said I just have to finish your paperwork. There were so many extra charges that my $20 coupon made my final price higher than Ive ever paid for a synthetic oil change. $9 for a quart of oil is ridiculous. The cost ($81) should have been discussed prior to the work. This was my worst customer service experience at a car service and my first with Pep Boys. I made the appointment for a 30 minute oil change. Never going to any Pep Boys again. Very deceptive.

Went in at 8:00 am for a simple rotate and balance......8 hours and two tows back to the shop later...had the vehicle towed home with $600 in damages plus towing fee. When we drove the car to pep boys this morning, it drove fine...after they worked on it 3x times ( 1st time - balance and rotate - 2nd time to fix the balance and rotate they admitted was not properly the first time cause the guy was "new" - 3rd time to discover they messed the brakes up ).....had to have it towed home as it was too unsafe to drive and they refuse to fix their mess. Use at your own peril. They did give us 2 free oil change certificates..as if after today I would trust their "new" guys to know where the oil goes!!!

Appointment, whats the point. I scheduled a 2:00 Monday afternoon appointment for oil change, rotation and balance. Arrive shortly before 2, dropped off my minivan, and was told would be an hour to hour & a half, even though clearly they were not busy. So, my daughter and I walked around the corner for lunch. We returned at 2:40 and the van hadnt moved from where we left it, and watched about 3-4 bay employees standing around a motorcycle talking to the cyclist that was showing it off. Unless something terribly wrong happens, Ill end my review before completion because I have already decided I will shop elsewhere based on my current experience.

When I went in the store for an oil change they found my tires were bald and showing cords. Megan and Eric found affordable tires so that my kids and I would be safe on the road. I use my car for work and travel with my children all over Douglasville. Megan and Eric helped me find the right tires for my veh at a great price. They do a great job keeping people informed on the condition. They are by far the nicest people I have ever taken my veh too in years. Thank you Megan and Eric.

Do not go here! After spending almost $500 they didnt even do the work I requested! This store is not to be trusted. Their employees will also tell you that they will compensate you for having to bring your car back in but if you get there and theres a different employee, they absolutely wont. Theyll fix it for "free" but you already paid for it! Will never return here to have my car serviced.

Ive had several services done at this location and I must say Bob provides exceptional customer service and hes extremely knowledgable. Its a rarity to find honest people in the automotive repair industry but thats exactly what I found at the pep boys in Douglasville. If you havent tried them I suggest you do and dont forget to ask for Bob.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to KD & Megan for taking care of a leaky tire on our rental. Our low pressure indicator came on so we found the nearest pep boys. They stopped what they were doing, assessed the tire, determined the problem and fixed it right away. We cant say thank you enough for your awesome service!!

I ordered my tires for my daughters car on Saturday the sales guy promised they would be here today (Monday) between 11am-12pm At that time they advised me they sent the wrong tire.. Its now 3:20pm and Im still waiting the rude lady at the counter advised me it will be another hour wait
