We scheduled a move with these folks and it was admittedly a bit complicated as they had to pick up our things, put them in storage for 3 weeks, and then move them to our new home. That meant that everything was essentially touched twice as many times; unfortunately the result for us was A LOT of damaged furniture, our best furniture! Chief among the damaged items was our expensive cherry china cabinet that had one entire corner broken off. The end of our dining table look liked it had been dragged across the pavement. This was previously a pristine dining room set of heirloom quality cherry. Its not anymore and will never be and that was perhaps the most precious expensive furniture they moved. Three separate end tables were seriously damaged: one all but destroyed with two of the four legs ripped off it, another looked like the corner was drug across the ground, and the other chipped up in several places. One of our kitchen chairs with arms, had an arm broken off, and our cherry office desk was just entirely laid waste in pieces and the desktop ripped off and scratched up. The desk was merely left in pieces in our new basement.. and it appears to be history. In addition, several boxes of dishware looked to be flattened somehow and the contents broken. SAD! I had actually relied upon Allied to move us when I was in the Air Force, always with excellent results. Sadly that is no longer the case, I will never uses these guys again. I was also mislead on the billing, as they promised me they would refund the cost of a shuttle if it was not used, and yet no shuttle was used however they never refunded me the $1200 as promised. Weve filed a claim for the ruined furniture, but there is simply no way to really return my wifes dear heirloom dining room furniture to its previous pristine state. They also dont really seem to care about the damage and have done absolutely nothing to help fix it or provide any suggestions whatsoever, except of course send a form. I was told a QA inspector would be at the pickup and at the delivery to insure the quality of the moves; yet none ever showed up, nor has one ever contacted us after the fact to help us get our furniture that they destroyed fixed or replaced I am thoroughly disappointed! Let me emphasize that... these guys were a huge dissapointement on how they cared for our furniture. Merely moving it is not enough.. it needs to arrive in the same condition it left, and on that level they failed!

We have no furniture in our house. We originally booked with this company because the salesman did a great job and seemed honest. . . . Well he quit and we got Cliff Yeager. I ask how much notice they need ahead of our desired move date to get us in on time and Cliff says 10 days. No prob, two and a half weeks out I tell him I want to move in to the new house on our close date of 6/23. He says they dont like to move on same day as closing so we moved it up a day. Should be all set, right? Nope I get a 4 day window. Cliff says Ill do what I can to help but thats industry standard. He says theyll give me a date from Fairburn when they load up on 6/20. I called allied call center and got a very helpful person who said she would do some research and call back. She did and long story short the Texas Allied booked me for delivery on the 23rd or 24th at the latest. In the meantime Cliff was supposed to have filed a claim for the damages his crew did to my house. After two weeks I called to check on it only to find no claim was filed. I asked Cliff about it and he said hed check on it and get back to me. That was two weeks ago with no response from him. Today, the 22nd, I called the Texas Allied to see what time my stuff will be delivered. The guy in TX said it should be here so he checked and called me back. Coleman apparently decide to pull the shipment and try to deliver it themselves. . . On the 26th!! . . .And he had to call to find out he wasnt getting the shipment anymore bc Coleman Moving in GA failed to tell him! I called our move coordinator Paula who said Cliff never told her we needed the 23rd. Folks this move is a corporate relocation just under 20k, and they could care less. Ive spent the afternoon calling ppl and after a dozen calls and several messages Im still waiting for a call back to see if anything can be done at this point. The customer service here doesnt exist. Damaged furniture, unreturned calls and empty promises are their specialty. If thats what youre looking for youll find exactly that with Coleman American in Fairburn, GA!

I shopped around with several popular moving companies. None of them could beat the price that Coleman American gave me. The price they give is not a quote, it is a rock solid price. That makes a big difference because other moving companies give you a price, and make sure to tell you that the price may be higher if they have unforeseen difficulties with your move. They also send a person to your residence quickly to give you the price. I was very happy with Larry, the representative that came to my residence. I also had some unforeseen delays in getting my new residence in the city I was moving to. Coleman was willing to work with me on the new delivery date. This was significant considering they had already dispatched the truck to my new residence. They never attempted to add charges for this, which I thought was very professional and generous. The moving people were very professional and easy to work with. They handled my belongings like they were their own. I was also thankful that the same driver that picked up my belongings, was the one that delivered them to my new address. I also give a thumbs up to Vanessa, my Coleman American scheduling representative. She helped me out greatly when my move in date changed at the last minute. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs. They truly care about their customers and work hard to make sure you are completely satisfied every step of the way.

Allied came to us through word-of-mouth and I heard that they wrapped your belongings and took great care of your things.... They must not of liked us very much they did over $2000 worth of damage. And gave us $456 back. The gentleman that deliver to our belongings graciously Tate most of the broken things to the thing it broke off of. Our sons Legos were all over the floor of the truck along with a wreath of glass ornaments broken into tiny pieces all over the truck. Idole bad that my daughter received as a Christmas gift from Santa was broken and take together but it was never put in a box or racket. Multiple tables were broken because they were not wrapped. Apparently some of my daughters clothes were all over the storage room floor got some kind a grease on them they had to be thrown out because they could not be cleaned. But the driver put them in a box for us apparently at the storage facility. And maybe thats the problem that we had to have our things stored for 11 days because we were in transition from moving from one state to the other. So my suggestion is do not use Allied if you must use Ally do not buy their insurance because they do not honor it completely. And if you must use allied to do not use them to store your stuff have it brought from point a to point B on that day. But our suggestion ....dont use them!!!
