Pros: They have 24-hour access, online web bill pay, and a fairly simple move-out process. Cons: Communication (email, phone, USPS) is horrible, property managers will access your unit if they deem necessary. I moved in right after Storesmart took over the property and it seemed like they ran a smooth operation. After returning from an extended trip, I go to the unit and realize that the door color changed and my keys dont work. The office explained that they needed to change the roll-up door to match the color scheme of the property, even though it meant doing so without my consent. They claim they sent a letter but I never received it. After getting a new set of keys, I return to the unit to discover my contents had been haphazardly thrown back into the unit. The office then explained that the removal operation had been video recorded and that they would contact the company to retrieve the video (I never received the video). After having my rent raised twice, I got the feeling that this place makes its money based on encouraging people to move out so new renters can pay the $25 administration fee.

I have been a customer for over 8 years. I have storage. My mother has storage, my grown children have storage here. The customer service is outstanding. Since the new owners have come in, it is professional now. The grounds are being up kept at last and the many things that had fallen into disarray with the old owners are FINALLY being taken care of. New working doors, new drainage to prevent water damage AT LAST. Open great hours. 7 days a week. I cannot stress strongly enough how much this property has improved. We all comment on how amazing it looks now and we always see the staff working hard to go the extra mile to be helpful and or working around the property. "Please dont be fooled by those leaving bad references, that prob. did not pay their bills, or are trying to run out a new company to the area. THIS IS where you want to be. Great prices. Professional staff. Security and managers living on site. Thank goodness they came in when the new management company did. THE ONLY PLACE I REFER FRIENDS AND FAMILY TOO!

The original owner I rented from was terrific. The current owner has changed the rules for cancellation and gone up on the monthly rate twice in the last 8 months. They were also extremely rude telling me they no longer worked by the "good ol boy rules". I dont thin the purple doors made any difference in my rental space. I am no living there. I liked them better the way they were. Will never recommend them again.

Wow, what a waste of time. We had been with the previous owners for years, and now no longer. Terrible customer service, bad record keeping, and the worst customer experience ever. You are better off choosing another service.

Terrible company, wont fix problems so you end up not being able to access your belongings. Spending thousands on pretty paint but cant fix the access gate? Does this sound like a company you want to rent from?

had a misunderstanding about when I cancelled my rental but they made it right and I would use them again. Great undercover storage for campers, etc.
