I brought my laptop in for a malfunctioning hinge. The guys took a look at it and gave me an estimate. They then asked for my computer password to run diagnostic testing, and I refused because I was only there for a mechanical external issue. They proceeded to tell me how easy it would be for them to get into my computer regardless. I thought that was an interesting to say to someone trusting them with a computer. Against my better judgement, I left the computer with them to get the hinged fixed. A week later, I walked in to check the status, and it was still sitting in the place it was left, untouched. The next day I was called, letting me know it was ready for pick up. They said they did what could with it without having to replace the screen and that it wasnt perfect, but it would be functional. I was ok with that. I was very gentle when opening and closing, but within a week the hinge popped loose and looked worse than before. I received a second opinion on the matter and was told that the repair was shoddy and quick at best. So there you have it. I am assuming that software fixes may be more successful with these guys. But, I do believe I was ripped off. Perhaps they should not have accepted the job if it could not be with acceptable quality.

This review is LONG overdue. I was referred to this place by a friend that have had numerous problems his iphone 4 screen that was replaced twice by another place and was constantly giving him problems. He told me these guys fixed his screen at a great price and never experienced another problem with his phone. My iphone 5 screen went out on me suddenly one day and I could not get it to start back up no matter what I did (hard resetting, plugging it in the computer, etc.) and I went to another shop that wanted to charge me $50 just to inspect it. I immediately went to these guys even though they were 30 miles from where I was and was given a free diagnostic of what could have been the problem. It turns out that my phone was hit very hard somehow within its otter-box and a wire came loose. They barely charged me anything and there was absolutely no wait time! I literally went to the planet smoothie next door and they were done before I came back with my smoothie! My phone has not had a problem since and I will definitely be going back to these guys with my future tech problems. The prices are very reasonable and they are very honest with how they do business. Highly recommend!

So I took my laptop hp stream to get repaired at the computer repair shop located by panda express in morrow on mt.zion to repair my screen. My screen was ONLY cracked thats it. Brandnew computer I had dropped. So the next day i take it to this shop and they say 150 to fix and come back next day. Next day came around to pick it up they say they cant find the screen come back tomorrow. Day 3 I had to call them and ask was it ready. The fat guy says well we were going to call you and tell you. So im like im good give me my money back. I guess i shouldve said this on the phone. So i get there to get my computer they werent expecting me to check it before i leave. What do you know the damn screen would not come on. The guys had no remorse. So u told them i will deal with them another way. I received my refund. The look on their faces was pricesless. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. PLEASE GO TO ICOMPUTEK. They fixed my computer perfectly and their communication is awesome!! They also do tv repairs and cell etc. They know what they are doing and i was very happy with their service.

I dropped off my Toshiba Satellite which is touchscreen and needed screen repairs. The repair shop down the road told me they could not repair it without charging me the price of the laptop. They said the touchscreen required some specially ordered part. Having a bit of knowledge of computers, I knew this was a lie and that they were only trying to up sell me. I went down the road to iCompuTek and they took a look at it for FREE and diagnosed the issue and told me the solution. The price was amazingly reasonable and my laptop was back in working condition shortly thereafter. These guys are professional and knowledgeable and I recommend them very highly for all your repair needs!

Company was recommended to me by friend at church. Both of my experiences with this company have been great. Their personnel are competent, businesslike and more than a little bit helpful. I had what I thought was a hopeless case with my computer but they were able to fix it at a more than reasonable cost. I always feel that I have been treated fairly, and professionally with friendly service at a fair price. They even went steps further by advising me of things I was doing wrong with my computer and demonstrated (taught) me the right way.

Great and friendly service to customers, appropriate return time on devices. I like how they are always resourceful and have information on every question and if they dont know theyll give you information on where you can obtain it. Theyre dedicated to finding a solution, always sure about the information they provide. Hours of operation are convenient to work schedules so if you have to pickup after normal work hours, they are still open. And you cant beat the free diagnostics either!!

My computer had crashed and i thought all family vacation pictures and special events had been completely lost!! first i took my laptop to another shop for repair, when the job was to great for them they referred me to Computek Morrow and that was the best thing that could have happened to me. Tech Vu assured me they will work hard to recover data and they were able to do so at a very reasonable price in such a short time.....great job guys!!!!!!!

These guys are Genuises! They recovered footage from an overwritten disk which I couldnt find anyone in L.A to get it done for me, even the forensic guys gave up. Kevin did it and he did it big time and saved my hundreds of thousands of dollars and a lawsuit . Imagine after shooting a high budget movie with actors, crew and props, location and other things duly paid for and you lose the entire footage and everyone is waiting to hear from you!?

Abundantly pleased with service again. Just an in store summer question the first time about TV cables. Brought the laptop in the other day and problem was solved within minutes - no charge. Home service today on the desktop. Three things done in under an hour. No dilly dallying to make the cost more. Probably will never have to go back, but if I did have a computer issue, Computek is where I would go! THANK YOU KEVIN AND COMPUTEK STAFF.

Excellent experience with this place of business. I had a broken computer screen and was referred to this business when I took my computer to Best Buy. I received a fair price and fast service to have the screen fix, which was great because I work from home on my laptop. I am now typing this review from that computer :) I would definitely use this service again for any future tech needs :)
