I had a slow leak in my right passenger rear tire. It was very small leak and took several days to leak down and I just kept putting air in it. On March 8, I took it in to TiresPlus in Newnan on Bullsboro, near my office. Left the vehicle with them and walked back to my office. Robert checked me in and told me he would call me when they had a chance to check the tire. An hour or so later Robert called and told me the puncture was in the wall and could not be repaired and wanted to sell me a new tire. Then told me all my tires were worn and I might want to get a set that I probably had an alignment problem. I told him I was not prepared to replace tires at this point-in-time. He suggested and I agreed that putting on the spare was the best thing now until I could get it back to where I had purchased the tire. I agreed. When I got off work I walked back to TiresPlus and picked up my vehicle. Robert gave me the key. Said there was no charge as they had only checked the t ire and put on the spare. I thanked him and left. I noticed the same rim was on the truck as had held the punctured tire. I assumed they had changed the spare to the regular rim when they put it on. WRONG. Don’t ever assume anything with TiresPlus. The same tire, same puncture, and everything was put back on the truck now this morning I am sitting here with a flat tire. After driving on what can only be considered a “very” dangerous tire, since I was told the puncture was in the wall, by Robert for 3 days I am very upset. I thought since TiresPlus had changed ownership from Firestone they had pulled their act together better. Now, I don’t think so. I called today and the manager. He said there must have been a miscommunication between the front desk and the technician doing the work, and asked me to bring the vehicle back and they would put the spare on. I live 45 miles away, have a flat tire, and am only there on weekdays for work. Anyway, I don’t ever want to pull into a TiresPlus store again. Drivers beware of TiresPlus. Remember, you are taking your life and the lives of everyone that rides in your vehicle into your own hands when you let unreliable folks work on your vehicle. A miscommunication like this can be hazardous to everyone.

I brought my 2010 Toyota Corolla in to Tires Plus for a standard oil change. I normally go to the dealer, but wanted to save a buck or two because of the holidays. I was sorely sorry. First, the woman told me I had to get a full synthetic oil. I have never used this type of oil in my car (not even when the dealer was doing my free scheduled maintenance). She gave me a $10 off coupon so it came up to $56. At this point, I was like...well, Im already here. Then, they quoted me a one hour wait time. Two hours later, my car was not finished. One of the service managers came over and told me "they found a problem". The jam nut on my tie rod, the one that is used to lock the alignment in to place, was so loose it was almost falling off. They did me a "favor" and tightened it, but now I HAD TO get an alignment for $80. Uh, what?? I explained I had just had my car aligned not long ago and would take it back to my original mechanic. The man, again, tried to sell me the alignment. He claimed my tires would wear out "in a matter of days" if I didnt get the alignment right then and there. I refused, they finished my oil change and I left. Today, I took my car to the alignment place I had previously used (Meineke in PTC). Their manager put it on the aligner for FREE to double check what Tires Plus had found. Not only was my car in perfect alignment, but the jam nut had not been adjusted recently. Tires Plus tried to rip me off and I will never use their services again. Just because I am a female, they obviously thought I had no idea what was what. Sorry, guys. Im a little smarter than I look.

Some shady dealings going on at this place. Went in to get my brakes checked out due to them making a scrubbing noise on the front axle when the pedal was depressed. After the inspection was completed I was informed that I had a gash or worn spot on the outside of my passenger rotor thus causing the noise that would eventually lead to wearing out my brake shoe and rotor. I was then informed that the the rotors were in such bad condition they could not be turned and the final cost of the repairs for a front brake job would be in the neighborhood of $400 bucks. Wow! Okay so I decided to go and get the parts which I purchased for $160 bucks total and do the job myself. I took the shoes off only to find them in new condition, the rotors were worn slightly but their were no signs of the shoes actually digging into or scratching the rotor whatsoever. I think you can read between the lines here, I actually didnt need brakes at all. I have purchased tires for my other vehicle at this establishment in the past thinking I got a fair deal. At this point it seems that this was not a good idea after all. Im taking the time to post this in the hopes of warning other consumers to beware of this location. "Get a second opinion" or better yet dont do any business with this establishment at all, go somewhere else, anywhere else! Definitely two thumbs down these guys are crooks! Heads up corporate offices!

The same thing happened to us as the below commenter. My husband and I do not know much about cars. And I think they knew that. My father always told me to rotate tires, new ones on the front and the old front ones to the back. The man insisted that we needed to put brand new tires on the back but leave the old ones on the front. As a front wheel drive where the front is doing most of the work I didnt get that. They were insistent and didnt care that we wanted it a different way. They also told us 3-4 other things were wrong, including that we needed an alignment, even though we had JUST had one a few weeks prior. A few weeks later had a coupon for an oil changed for our other vehicle and figured why not. They checked the car and told us we needed to replace ALL the tires. We said we cant right now and left. There is a lot of tread left on the back so I know they were trying to give us poor advice to make more money thinking we dont know any better. Wont be bringing my business back here again.

On SAT left truck for heater work. They ordered part and said they would finish today. Late in day they tell me they received wrong part and would have it ready Monday. Late Monday they tell me they had to replace frame the coil goes in and it would be there Tues morning and I could pick up truck Tues. Tues evening I am told part came to late to finish and it would be ready Wed. On Wed they said they forgot the mechanic working on it was off and it would be ready tommorrow. We have had to rent a car for work all week. Wonder if it will be ready tommorrow. So they still have my truck at least through Thursday for a job they said they would have done last sat. This is unbelievable. Purchased my first car in 1977 and this is the worst maintenance experience ever. Rate 0
