Although contact with the group in Tampa, FL was excellent as well as the main office in Houston, TX, I have to say that I had several items that were damaged either in transit or in the warehouse. I acknowledge that I packed these items myself; however, I packed them with the same type of packing materials professional movers use (e.g. bubble wrap, thick paper, etc.) and when they were delivered to my home in the Atlanta, GA area the items were in pieces. I very carefully took pictures of the broken items, as well as the boxes with the numbers on them showing FRAGILE written in several places. The claims department at Graebel informed me that since I had packed these items myself and the carrier had no idea how they could have been damaged they were denying my claim, which was approximately $1,480.00. It is clear to see by the photos, etc. that the items were damaged during shipment and/or storage but instead of doing the right thing and trying to settle with me, Graebel fell back on "you packed the items. . . your problem". Would I ever use or recommend Graebel again??? NO!, which is sad because some of the folks I encountered were excellent. They just dropped the ball on the end with the customer post delivery!

I have not even moved yet and I am already incredibly disappointed with Graebel Atlanta. My fiance and I did not get to choose this moving company - it was chosen for us by his company that is paying to relocate us to Chicago. Not only did they change the day they were going to pick up our furniture on us already multiple times, but they also estimate a delivery date approximately 3 weeks from now. I have moved two times before with complete ease compared to what this company is putting us through. We are now contemplating moving ourselves - do not do business with Graebels!!!

Ive been professionally moved 3 times. This was the worst experience by far. Graebel packed, stored, and transported my household goods. Graebel added stress to my move. They continuously caused delays directly resulting in costing me money in sale of my home. Misc. things were put in any box- TV in 1 box, remote an another, cables in another, stand in another, etc. It has made unpacking an extremely hard process. Additionally, Im at approx 60 items that have been damaged during shipment! Luckily I have insurance, but somethings money cant fix.

DO NOT under any circumstances use Grabel Moving for your moving needs! We moved of state and the Grabel broke 19 pieces of our furniture; was late arriving on move in day and late leaving. The mover husband and wife team who delivered our furniture were rude and smoked - leaving cig butts on our balcony. Our customer service rep in the ATL was never at her desk and hardly returned emails - the customer service was no customer service. You get what you pay for - it has been a nightmare!
