I went here to get an estimate on fixing the window in my car. He said it will be $30 to see what the problem is and that would roll into the price if I let them fix it. I agreed and asked him to do an oil change. He called and said the motor needed replacing and it would be over $200 to fix. I said no thanks I will get the motor myself and replace it. So i go to pick it up and he tried to charge me $60 because he let the window up. I didnt agree the that and he reomved the charge. Then i get ready to leave and the whole door panel falls of when i try to close the door. So the owner comes out and fixes that. Then i leave and go back to work and my door wont open at all. I have to climb over and out the passenger door. I attempt to open the door from the outside and still nothing. I called and he said to come back. When i get there both the owner and the guy that looked the car come out and look at it. He takes the car to the back for a while and comes back with the door open. He reconnects the door panel and closes the door. Then he pushes the door and lift the handle together and the door opens. So he tells me that i have to open my door like that now. So i ask him if i have to push on the door from the outside and lift together how do i get out when im inside? He says that all him diod was look at it and tries to blow me off. I told him it wasnt like this when i brought it in and it needs to be fixed. So he spayed some lube on it and it worked. I will never go back to this shop and never send anyone to it.

I rarely write reviews but felt it necessary this time. I wish I wouldve read his reviews before patronizing this establishment. Long story short, I went in to get an emissions test. The mechanic had to get involved to put a cover back onto the car that was removed by the emissions tech. Joel comes out and talks to the mechanic like he was a 2 year old because he was touching my car without his permission. Unbeknownst to me, the emission tech is independent. How am I the customer supposed to know the difference between bays 1,2,&3?!? I pull Joel to the side and basically tell him that was a grown man, I am a customer and he shouldve handled it out of my sight. He tells me sorry I feel that way and its his shop. No respect for his employees nor customers.

In my honest opinion, this place is a rip off. The shop is very dirty. I brought my vehicle here for repair like a year ago and when I paid and picked it up my car broke down for good. They lied about diagnostic and refused to refund over $600 for supposedly heating core repair. I am sick of auto repair places taken advantage of people. When I brought it there attention they told it must be something else, however I BEG THE DIFFER. My vehicle had no fluid top off and when repair heating core your supposed to replace fluids there no antifreeze in my vehicle. They refused to give me one penny of my money back. I have contacted the BBB in hopes to get my money back. My car broke all the way down after I picked it up from this repair shop.

Probably top 3 worst companies I ever dealt with. They straight up lied to me over the phone saying they were the owner until order to get me to give them my credit info over the phone BEFORE the work was even done . So I had questions about that process and wanted to talk about it. He put the phone down a few seconds and said, "Yeah Im Joel whats your Credit card number.". Then when I stated he sounds just like the person I talked to earlier..."Yeah sorry for lying." What?! Is this a joke? Ive never taken time out to write about a company but I actually chose them because they had such high ratings. But the customer service they had was awful. They had my car 4 days before I knew what was wrong with it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE! I got my car towed here and I told them what was wrong with me car but they went ahead and did a repair on the clutch instead of fully diagnosing it first. I also told them to check my alternator and battery and they didnt do a thing. The mechanic said he didnt know my car had 6 gears after I paid and he said my car could drive with no problems from gear 1-5 and turns out I have no first gear anymore and its driving just as bad as it was before. Im out $500 and a messed up car thats completely dead now. They will not hesitate to scam you. And I shouldve went with my gut feelings after my first cinsultation from the vibe I got.

I would definitely recommend everyone to take their vehicle to Joel Auto Repair & Transmission. I recently took my car in to get an oil change, new radiator, and new thermostat and will be using them again to fix my catalytic converter. They offer the lowest prices and do exceptional and fast work. Everyone is friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They are honest and fair. I normally dont take the time to write reviews on places but considering how difficult is to find a good and honest auto repair shop I had to share. I will definitely be using Joel Auto Repair & Transmission for all of my auto repair needs in the future.

Just moved from Utah to Georgia and I had the same car mechanic for 13 years. Its so hard to find someone you can trust. Im here for grad school and Joel helped get our emissions and state inspection done for Utah. He is so honest and is willing to help with anything. I also had him change my oil and check out my tires from the cross country trip here. 5/5 stars for sure. Im so glad I found Joel and will be telling friends about him. Thanks to the whole crew to, if you catch them around lunch sometimes they BBQ and everyone is welcome.

I brought my car (2004 Acura TL) in because my radiator fluid started leaking from bottom of my car while heading home from my work. I had to stop at a gas station to let the car cool down so I did some research for auto repair shops around me on my phone. I read few reviews and decided on Joel Auto Repair and man am I glad that I did. They fixed my car correctly and they were super pleasant to work with. I will be getting all my auto repairs at Joels in the future

I went to pastor Richard ( Joels auto ) to get a 2000 acura checked out before purchasing the vehicle the tall older guy Mechanic told me all was good well I didnt have the car a week and Im having TRANSMISSION problems SMH !!! WHAT A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY !!!! PLEASE PEOPLE DONT GO TO JOELS AUTO GO ELSE WHERE AND DO A GOOD RESEARCH ON THE AUTP SHOP THAT YOU TAKE YOUR CAR TO !!! BELIEVE ME I LEARNED MY LESSON !!! I HOPE THEY REAP WHAT THEY SOLE !!!!
