Deception in pricing. I called these guys and spoke to Matt. He was extremely friendly and made me feel like he was really going to take care of me. Once they diagnosed the problems and told me that it would be over 1900.00, I told them I wanted to get the car and take it else ware. I was informed that to take my car, it would cost me over 500.00 for labor and diagnosis. When Matt and I had first spoken, I informed Matt that I had been quoted 1470.00 all in and he said that should not be an issue, that I should be out the door for under 1400.00. Then he tells me the price is escalated due to it needing a torque converter at over 500.00. I verified through the other company that I was quoted 1470.00 and that it included the converter. So, all that being said, I had no choice but to have the car fixed there. I would highly recommend Whitleys in Lawrenceville as they have been in business for ever and have a great reputation. Friends of mine have always gone there and never had a problem. I wish I had. Out of being fair, the job on the transmission is good, so far, however, they are deceptive about prices. If you challenge the price they will tell you that you have to pay labor to get your car and that a mechanics lien has already been placed on the car. If they indeed place a lien on the car before the service is done, well, this is deceptive from the beginning and you can tell that they practice this regularly. The only protection we have as consumers is to put reviews out there to help save others from being ripped off. Please, do your research and ask the proper questions if dealing with this company. Dont get sucked into the friendly personality of Matt as he will charge you much higher than being quoted. As I said, the job is so far a good one and I must be fair in saying that, just a lot higher priced than quoted.

I have never been so ripped off in my life!!! My transmission went on my car and I called over a dozen shops. I chose AllPro because they had the cheapest diagnostics price... so I figured they would have cheaper cost for repairs. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! First of all, Matt assured me he knew what he was doing, as hes done plenty of Mustang transmissions. I told him to save me the old parts (as I know many shops are scams and will say they replaced parts they didnt) The transmission ended up costing me $2,200!! I later discovered after several phone calls that this was more than any other shop in the area would have charged me! Stupid me trusting their low diagnostics fee!!! So I pick the car up and what do you know... THEY SOMEHOW THREW OUT HALF THE PARTS THEY CLAIMED THEY REPLACED. Ohhh what a coincidence!! Somehow they only threw out half the parts they "replaced." Sounds fishy to me... considering you dont throw away some parts and leave the rest laying around?!?! The car did run smoothly at first... until about 2 months later... the transmission started to become very noisy! So I took it to another transmission shop and guess what... ALL PRO PUT THE WRONG TRANSMISSION FLUID IN IT!!!! After $70 came out of my pocket and the correct fluid was put in to my car... the transmission has been nice and quiet. I never review places, but I just took 15 minutes out of my day to tell you all to stay away from this place!! Go anywhere but here!! Hell, Id rather rebuild the transmission myself, blindfolded and drunk... then to ever take my vehicle here again.

Had my transmission rebuilt here and it was fixed fast and works good. That part went well for me. Had to come back a fews times since. 1) Now a few days later i noticed a wire hanging and not connected. It was the o2 sensor. Went back and showed Rick and they took care of it. 2) Another wire was hanging that i could not see until i got down on the ground and looked under the van. Went back the mechanic pushed and tucked the wire up behind my gearshifter by the transmission. Now when i got back to my office. Im thinking everything is fine. Until i get back in my van and noticed now my gearshifter is now disconnected. At this point i cant put the in drive or nothing so i make a call and leave Rick a message with one of the girls for him to call me. Waited for 20 minutes for a callback. No callback. Now I get on the ground and see the wire they fixed earlier made my gearshifter disconnect. So i connect it. Also, some cap was missing that covers a hole by the flywheel. 3) Drive back to show Rick the pictures and he said dont worry about it, talked to the mechanic, well repair the gearshifter. Its been more than a few weeks now and still no callback. Not understanding why I paid almost $3,000 and still had to show them things that was not correct or connected and no compensation for me showing and fixing a problem they created with the gearshifter. It seems to me things should have been checked before they released my vehicle back to me. They might have forgot about because its something they paying for now. Now I am a disappointed customer!

I started having gear shifting issues with my 2007 Mazda 3 hatchback and knew something was seriously wrong. My husband has a very busy job and was unable to take off to have the car looked at. I rode past All Pro Transmissions on my way to work one day and called to ask if they could take a look at my car. I dropped the vehicle off early in the day and when I stopped by to pick the car up, the technicians were not certain what the issue was and asked to keep the car a bit longer. No problem! The very next day, after they performed a thorough inspection, I was notified that my transmissions computer was shot and would cost $900 + dollars to repair. This all occurred during the holidays and was a very stressful time to have to shell out that kind of money. Needless to say, we had the repair done and it was done very, very quickly. It took less than one day and when I got he car back it literally felt like a new vehicle. I have been driving the car now for almost 3 months after the repair and I have experienced NO ISSUES AT ALL! I decided to leave a review and recommend their services because it is far to often that people complain about bad service and do not take the time to compliment GREAT service. I 100% recommend their services and would refer all of my friends and family to come here first. They are very knowledgeable and communicate very well with their customers. Good job guys!!!

I had a pretty good experience with them. I have a 2004 ACURA MDX and I broke the transmission case when I hit some ice on a trip to NJ. The dealer wanted a over 6k to fix and they came in much less. During the repair Rick (Shop Manager) did a good job of keeping me informed. of the repair progress. Because of the extensive damage they had to work out a few Kinks and I ended up having to use the warranty. They honored it no questions asked. I was genuinely pleased that I didt have to fight with them to get them to fix what turned out to be some minor issues but issues the trans had to be puled out a again to fix. Not once did they come back with a request for more money or labor charges. I have an old car and thus deal with auto repair shops more frequently than I would like. My experience With them was atypical of the norm. I have been driving on it since October and it seems to be solid and holding up well so their repair appears to be quality. They honored their word, price, and warranty.
