I first heard about Salon de la vie when I won an incredible basket from our school raffle. After 2 years and hearing many great things about the salon, I finally went....not expecting much because I have naturally curly hair and truthfully I hadnt met anyone who can cut it properly (I usually cry when I get home and let it grow out). From the time I arrived to the time I walked out I was blown away by how wonderfully I was treated, how attention to detail they were, how knowledgeable everyone was and how sweet and welcomed I felt. The crazy thing is they honored my gift certificate after 2 year....who does that?? Angie cut my hair and I told her about my experiences with past cuts and how I just wanted a tiny bit cut because I was so worried Id come out looking like a poodle (again). She has so much experience and training that I felt comfortable trusting her to do what she thought was the best. My hair was perfect, my color was perfect and I have NEVER been this happy with a salon!! Now that I know the owners better, I know that they are wonderful people and put everything into their family business. Wouldnt go anywhere else!!

I went to this place a few times and found that it is great if they are not busy. If they are, you will most likely have your hair done by an apprentice and have the person you booked just finish. I had someone that couldnt even work well with the blow dryer. If they make a mistake they dont own up to it or fix it which was quite disappointing. Instead they just want you to leave so that you dont ruin the experience for other customers. They had an apprentice do my moms hair and damage her ends and then they tried to say that it was already like that. She asked for volume and came home with none. Also there seems to be a special way to do appointments. If you call and book it is not enough. I kept hearing that if I had booked properly this would have not happened. So there must be a mysterious way to book that I dont know. I will not go back and strongly advise anyone that is thinking of going to make sure they are ok with this business model before they go. Team work = your hair might be done by an apprentice and you pay for the stylist you booked with.

Great Experience! I moved three times in the last five years. Finding a good hair salon is one of the hardest things to figure out. I was going to another hair stylist for about a year in Roswell. It starts out the same: The highlights are good and it feels like they listen to what you want. 3-6 appointments in, my hair is only getting blonder and they start suggesting up charges of other things to do that cost a lot of money. At Salon De La vie, they did a Balayage highlight. Almost all of the stylists I have been to said they do Balayage but after going here once - I know they were only doing your typical highlighting (where they just add more and more blonde strands on top of blonde),. I finally found what I have been looking for. In addition to a great result, I was in and out within an hour and half and the price was less than what I had been paying. I am relived I found this place and it was thanks to the great reviews on multiple sites. Thank you!

Holy cow! This place is by far the best salon Ive ever been to. They KNOW what theyre doing! I came here after a disastrous night of green hair dye! It took them 5 minutes to look at my hair and decide my best option was to dye it black again! Now that my hair is back to its natural color I can go back to get highlights or ombré! They also made me fit in their busy schedule the morning of!! Everyone there is polite and courteous! Overall a 5+ experience! Will definitely be back for my hair color! Also be careful, parking is a pain! If you go down and it looks full start backing up! Theres no turnaround so youre basically stuck if you have a bigger vehicle. Also theres one girl that burned my head with hot water and the blow dryer so if that happens immediately ask for someone else!

I only went because I had been referred by my trusted girlfriend. I have curly hair and have been "butched" several times looking for a trusted hair stylist and someone who is trained to do curly hair. I had a haircut with Angie, the owner and she knows what she is doing! They fitted me in w/o an appointment on a busy weekend w/o much waiting & gave me all the time I needed on a consult to make me feel comfortable! I cant wait to go back and this is from someone who pinches every penny down to coloring my own hair! Truly not expensive for what you get! GREAT staff, wonderful location, and an owner who really cares about your happy outcome!

As a former hairdresser, it is very difficult to find a hairdresser and a salon that does what I want. Well, this salon has far exceeded my expectations. My hairdresser, Becca, is a beautifully talented woman that I pray never leaves Georgia. Douglas and Angie have fostered an environment that makes everybody family, and watching the master stylists teach and encourage the students is a joy as well. Douglas and Angie are putting their stamp on some young talent that will help them no matter where they go. I cant recommend this salon, and the staff, enough!!

So my girl Vanessa (an apprentice) is legit the bomb. I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted and she knew exactly what I needed and gave me the perfect bob with textured layers and everything along with styling my hair with beach waves for prom. Its been about 22 hours after the appointment and the beach waves still are holding and look flawless. I am so impressed and will forever be coming back. Thank you Vanessa and Salon de la Vie!!

My experience was just like Sandra Ns! I come from NY, where Id enjoyed some amazing hairstyling experiences from artists who could somehow see how the right hairstyle would accentuate my best features, downplay flaws, and make it easy for me to style at home. I was spoiled - and didnt know it. After a variety of wannabes, I finally found the kind of vision and artistry Id been missing. This place is a gem - well worth the drive to Roswell.

It may not be fair for me to write a review since I have been getting fabulous at Salon de la Vie for so many years! My most recent visit was with a hair stylist I had never met before as my regular stylist was out on leave. She was professional and careful to explain how she would cut my hair to get the results I wanted. After taking her time, the precision in her style gave me a brand new look and I could not be more happy!

Amazing salon with an amazing environment. I read the reviews before going here and was skeptical, but Everything they said about this true! This ended up being the best haircut I have ever had. Worth Every penny and then some! It is amazing how comfortable they make you feel and you can tell that they are comfortable and friends with the people they work with. Making this my permanent hair salon!
