Beware of "mandatory" insurance from this location, which per PS customer service is NOT mandatory. I made a reservation via the website, which disclosed the move-in rate and also received an email disclosing the same rate. An agent from the location phoned me and confirmed the rate and set an appointment to complete the paperwork. Upon arriving at the location the staff were friendly, but then I was presented with a requirement to purchase insurance through Public Storage for $11/month. I explained that my homeowners insurance covers my belongings in a storage unit (far over the amount of coverage that the PS policy would provide) and I could provide my policy information. The agent insisted that I must purchase the insurance for the first month and could then have it waived for the following months after providing POI. They had no logical arguments, did not provide a waiver form, and did nothing to try to keep me as a customer. Needless to say I did not take the unit, and on returning home I called the PS customer service line and confirmed that it is not necessary to purchase insurance through PS provided I have coverage. This felt very much like a hidden "up-charge" and revenue producer for the location and I wanted to give a heads-up to anyone considering a unit here that theyll be asked to pony up an additional $11/month to get a unit.

Ive read other reviews and their experience is VERY different from my and my husbands experience. From the minute we stepped in the door last July, we have seen nothing but professionalism, honesty, integrity and the willingness to go an extra 5 miles or more to accommodate us in every way. There was one minor problem with the climate control unit, and Angela and Gary went out of their way to get it fixed immediately. Ive used storage units at Public Storage and Shurgard before and these folks know what they are doing. Their knowledge is unsurpassed and their willingness to help is just short of remarkable. We are very pleased that our goods are in such competent hands. Im very proud to have them as managers of the Peachtree Parkway facility and I believe they deserve a great deal of recognition. I am recommending others to use this facility because I know they will be well-taken care of and treated with great respect by Gary and Angela. Customer service is of the utmost importance to me and I am writing to share the very pleasant experience that my husband and I enjoyed today. First of all I would like to commend Gary Smith the manager of the Public Storage on Peachtree Parkway in Suwanee, GA. We recognized the friendliness and the professionalism immediately. Garys knowledge is very apparent and he was extremely informative during the entire process. Gary went above and beyond the extra mile...he even took us step by step, from entering the gate to ensure us that our code worked properly to exiting the location. I would like to also state that the property was well maintained and the units were clean...the floors were even shiny! I was in the process of moving from Georgia to Florida and had already reserved two units at a location in Largo FL. Due to a change in plans I was not able to report to the FL location to finalize and pay for my spaces in FL. I went to the Suwanee facility to arrange payment for the FL location. Gary Smith, the resident manager, was very cordial and courteous in helping me even though my reservation was not directly at his location. Gary was very patient, articulate, and informative even going as far as talking to the FL manager by phone and coordinating the receipt of the faxed papers between the two locations. He took time to clearly outline all the procedures in a non-hurried manner. Gary is indeed a credit to Public Storage and just my interaction with him greatly increased my idea of the image and service level of Public Storage.

My daughter and I were in an emergency situation, as our initial storage facility had electricity problems (Your Extra Attic on Peachtree Parkway - DO NOT GO THERE). We found these guys in a pinch as we had a truck full of movers and nowhere to go. Not only did they provide a place quickly, but Gary stopped his lunch break to help us immediately as we were paying the moving crew by the hour! It was VIP customerService! He gave us a first floor unit that was exactly the size we needed. The facility was CLEAN and COOL on a hot July day! Almost chilly! Thats what I call climate controlled! He was super organized, friendly, and made us feel important! Gary runs a tight ship over at Public Storage Peachtree Pkwy! Oohrah! You were our hero today!!

This place rocked for me! Very close, very clean and the staff! I cant say enough about Gary Smith!! You couldnt ask to meet a nicer person. He explained everything in detail and made sure I understood. He seems to be there visible just about ALL THE TIME! I sure hope public storage understands theyve hit a home run! He genuinely seems to care that everything is perfect for his customers. In todays day and age, this seems to be more rare with each passing day! Long story short, TWO THUMBS UP!! I would rent here again without hesitation! Ive rented storage units several times throughout the course of my life. This has, by leaps and bounds, been the best experience!

My rate was increased every year for 8 years and I am now paying double todays rate for my size unit. I contacted location manager, regional manager and customer service and all unwilling to adjust more than a minimal amount from my rental. Regional manager said he had no power to help me...how embarrassing for him and the company. They would rather lose the business. Search the net and you will find multiple complaints and terrible customer service by the corporation as a whole. Run...do not walk from this place. There is a reason they have so many open units and run specials.

I have leased storage spaces for the last 14 years and have been using the Public storage in Suwanee for the last year or so. I have to say that Im extremely happy with their services, price and management at this location. But most of all I like to thank Gary Smith for always going over and beyond his duties to make sure that we are taken care of. He is always very attentive, courteous and very professional. I have now 4 storage spaces with them and the main reason I continue to stay at this location is their excellent management through Gary. Thank you Gary.

Im currently storing my furniture at another storage facility and I was in need of another storage unit, I went online and came across Public Storage, I read great reviews about the Peachtree Parkway location and decided to go see the location for myself. I met Gary Smith the property manager there and he explained the rental process and showed me the unit which best suited my storage needs, because of Garys professionalism I rented the storage space and I feel comfortable my furniture will be in good hands.
