Ive let SSS do work on my vehicle twice now including this experience. First experience went well, I had my upper control arms replaced and it was fairly priced with a little extra added as a convienence fee (which I was okay with because I needed my car fixed that day). Recently, my car has been overheating which is extremely frustrating so I had no choice but to bring it into a shop because I had previously received satisfactory customer service & quality work I was not hesitant to go back to SSS. I called first to see what a diagnostic test would cost me, Mike Scuderi was my advisor and he asked me what was the issue I took my car in and within 1.5-2hrs they came back to me with a list of issues, radiator with cap and hoses,CAM & CRANK sensors... Mike let me know it could be done, he had to call around to see how fast he can get the main part there. I let them know I needed my car before 4:30pm (it was roughly 11:30am-12:00pm) no doubt I was guaranteed completion by that time. Time passes, it is 4:00pm no call from SSS. I call and Mike says, "he is putting it in right now Ms.Hendrix" great, so I asked if he could sent the shuttle to get me considering they have my only form of transportation. Im getting ready as I get another call from SSS saying he just ran into a problem -- how convenient! He has to go get fitting for the radiator! 4:30pm passes, 5:20pm I get there and my car is STILL not ready, John Darling the technician is still working on my car, finally 30 minutes later he backs it out and tells me he is going to test drive it. Great! I pay $820.86 wait another 40 minutes while John does more. No issue, I drove home 5-7 minutes. The next day, my car is heating up, I have school so I found a ride until Im free to make time for a full day of car issues again. The day after that, my car will not start at all, I call Mike and he says he will get it towed and pay for the tow. Great, so we get there and the Master technician or whomever he is tells me my car wont start because of my gas being low (which has never happened before- Im a college student my gas has been low before and never has it not started). Then he says well it is the spark plugs (a $130 service fee that I could do myself for $24) because they are copper and my car needs platinum. So then he comes and tells me that they cannot get my car to start it is only turning over so they recommend that I get my spark plugs replaced today. Im no car specialist but I know better than to pay $130 for spark plugs so I said I would use my AAA to get it home and do that myself. I run to Advanced and grab my PLATINUM SPARK PLUGS. They back my car up and hand my keys after waiting 1 hour for that (simultaneously the tow truck driver arrives and low and behold my car STARTS! Yet those "spark plugs were needed for me to even get my car to start" (I replaced those plugs myself -- 15 minutes max). So, my car is still heating up and after being told my radiator, hoses and sensors were the only thing I needed to get fixed. Now they have this list of different things Timing Belt, Water Pump, Spark plug coils and wires, etc. and no resolution has taken place yet. Called the manager Natasha and I get well just bring it in- yet this would be try #3 what can be guaranteed to get done this time? SSS has my money, and I still have the same problem I arrived with originally. I asked to speak with the owner- still no call and I still even cant drive my car to the front of my apartment complex. If matters change, Ill update this post!

My son brought his 2011 Nissan Sentra to Suwanee Service Station with a leaking cylinder on the left rear drum brake system. He was quoted $584 and change for the repair, which seemed excessive in my opinion. Unfortunately, he informed me of this only after he had commissioned the work and when I called to inquire, learned they had already begun the work. I accompanied my son to pick up the car upon completion and asked to see the bill. The itemized cost of the parts alone--for both rear brakes--two sets of brake shoes, 2 brake cylinders, 2 sets of brake springs, clips, etc. and 2 brake drums as charged by the shop totaled $379. This was $104 more than the retail AutoZone price obtained from that companys Website for the same or equivalent parts! Auto service shops, of course, obtain parts for a discount. I called this to the store managements attention in the hope of negotiating a better price, but the manager would not give an inch even for the sake of goodwill. So I paid the bill in full, being over a barrel, so to speak, but I will never, ever do business with this shop again and will do my best to warn others. They are a rip off of the first order, in my opinion, for having taken advantage of my sons inexperience. And this review, as far as I am concerned, is their reward for their intransigent attitude.

Estimate from Suwanee Service Station: (Labor: $110/hour) (Parts: $140 (car horn)) Total Estimated Repair Cost: $250 _________________________________ Actual Repair Cost: $130 (Labor: $90) (Parts: $40 (car horn)) Cost of assessing if was being scammed, conned, swindled, flimflammed; Priceless (and 15 mins of research) Actual cost of the part needed: $40 They targeted my girlfriend who was in there alone, she called to tell me the price to fix the car horn would be $250 total. I go to her car Manufacturers website, which would be most expensive price, on there for $40. Called a shop around the corner, told me their price for the part is $40 as well. I called Suwanee Service Station back to ask where did the extra $100 cost for a $40 part come from. Tries to vaguely explain the cost is part of retrieving the car part from the warehouse or wherever they get it from, which is b.s. They would be out of business if the cost to retrieve a part is twice as much as the part itself. It would cost me $25 to overnight this part from california, why would it be $100 to get it from down the street? Realizing they are targeting my GF in there alone, I tell them down the road I can get it fixed for $130, not $250. They do not bother to price match. Roll out!

My car was sputtering with poor acceleration. Thought it might be the map sensor or a problem with the fuel injection system. I was 40 minutes from home and needed to get to work. Couldnt continue to drive the vehicle on such condition, no pickup, sudden acceleration and deceleration, and with the vehicles top speed of 30 mph, it would have taken me forever to get to work and then home. I saw their sign we fix anything so I pulled in. They hooked it up to the computer and told me it was catalytic convertor and the camshaft sensor. I had two hours to be at work. They quoted me $600.00 and said I would be late but they would get me there. They got the parts but the parts store did not send the gaskets. They sent someone to get the gaskets but by then the store had closed despite them telling them they would be right there. Natasha then decided to give me a loaner vehicle, free of charge, plus ten dollars for gas. The next day they had my vehicle ready and it is running great. The best since I bought it. Thanks a ton!
