I would give them zero star if I could. I needed to change my tires, and I searched autoshoP, firestone on perimeter road had decent review, I decided to go there. After they changed tires, a guy at the front told me one of my front headlight is not working. I am very cautious of driving, so I check my lights everyday to make sure I dont get pulled over and I just checked my lights right before I got there (40 minutes before I got there) and it didnt have any problem. He said it would cost $45 for thier labor, and I couldnt easily believe it after I just checked my lights. I said, "okay, I will check it myself and fix it after I buy a headlight bulb at the auto part store". I got out and checked again, only to realized that someone just pulled my light out of the socket, or how else, I just checked that bulb perfectly in the socket and it got popped out by it self? I simply put that light back in and its back to its perfectly fine working self. Its so easy for them to scam people the same way and say "oh we only checked if it worked not that we looked at it", if someone like me finds out and confronts them after they just took that bulb off of that socket, especially when Customers are like me who are young little females and doesnt seem to know anything about cars. I believe a business has to build up on ethics and I wouldnt ever go there again experiencing that feeling of those guys would rip me off as much as they can from me.

During a recent trip to Florida my vehicle started making a horrible sound and I stopped at this Valdosta Firestone. The so called mechanics checked my problem and came up with an estimate for the work of over $1500. I was told I would only be charged $20 for the initial inspection. After making several phones calls I chose not to allow them to do the work because I felt I was being scammed. Good choice on my part because what they claimed was wrong with my vehicle was not correct buy a country mile. Before leaving the store I was informed that they would have to charge me $79 for the labor. As it turned out the problem with my vehicle was fixed by a very capable mechanic in Adairsville GA and parts and labor only cost $279. Consumers in this area run, do not walk from these scammers. It pays to check, check, check. Shame on you Blake for trying to take advantage of a woman and an out of state citizen. You sure changed my opinion of your area of the state. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and the local Chamber of Commerce. I feel this company owes me an apology as well as a refund for their incompetence. If there was a rating lower than poor this place would certainly deserve it. I sat there listening to how they tried to scare other people into work they very well may not have needed. In the short time I was there (1 hr.) over $5000 was quoted in repair work to other vulnerable people.

My vehicle has been brought here for simple repairs and every time i leave that repair shop there is an immediate problem a day or two later.... i understand vehicles age and if its man-made issues will arise; but when my last problem was diagnosed by firestone (emission line leak detector pump) i decided to take the issue to a different mechanic instead and possibly get a second opinion. What i found out was that the four bolts holding the bracket (and essentially the pump) in place were not put back on and this had left the pump hanging (literally) by the emission lines.... even if the bolts had not been there previously before diagnosis it would seem very irresponsible to leave the pump that way or even leave that information out when telling me the issue (ex: would you leave the bolts off of your vehicles tires?). To make a long story short, bring your vehicles to a mechanic who makes a living only from fixing vehicles. The mechanic who fixed my vehicle at A&M did so at half the cost, allowed me to bring my own parts to save money, and now i have no issues even after a few weeks have passed. This is so very relieving. I wouldnt trust firestone with another repair period and i hope no one experiences what ive been through.

My car battery exploded (yes, it literally exploded - battery acid everywhere). I called Firestone and they were able to get me in an hour before they closed. They even had to run to another store to get the right battery, since they did not have the one my car needed in stock (and they honored the price they quoted me for even though I did not even ask for them to!). They could have easily told me to come back the next day, too. They were very honest with me about my situation and they are extremely knowledgeable about cars. I absolutely feel like I can trust them for any repair and I will be back!

They were suppose to replace my fan clutch, the fan itself, and accessory belts. Problems I had with this job, they did not replace fan but charged me for parts and labor. Fan shroud was not secured, came loose and destroyed my fan and radiator. And the tension pully bolts for my Accessory belts they replaced have fallen out and the belts all came loose obviously. So literally everything they touched and overcharged me for. I had to go back and replace and fix myself at additional cost. Would never bring any vehicle back ever.

Of all the years of being a Firestone customer, this one store in particular really has excelent service. We have gotten to know Judah over the years of bringing our cars in here, and he works hard to make everyone feel welcome. We can call in, and he already has our cars pulled up, can answer any questions, and remembers what we have discussed the previous times (even with months in between visits). This store, and Judah, always strive to be honest, helpful, and do more than what is expected of them, which means alot to me!

The ratings are bogus. Firestone will take your money. They are not complete auto care. They should only be used to get a tire. They worked on my brothers truck multiple times and the truck kept messing up. They dont know how to work on vehicles and if you believe they do then you are dumb. I wish someone would have a lawsuit against them. My brothers truck hasnt been working properly for months. I hope the business gets destroyed by tragedy.

They lie to customers and keep seeing how much they can keep making your bill go up. They tried to tell me I was low on oil, and that it needed changing when I had personally changed it 3 or 4 days before and it was not low. Makes me wonder about everything else they told me. I will never go back and I hope no one else does either.

I ordered ONE TIRE for a PT cruiser and brought the original tire wheel to get mounted and installed. It took over an hour to change a freaking tire!! This was after they pulled the car into the bay to be worked on. OVER AN HOUR IN THE BAY FOR JUST ONE TIRE IS UNACCEPTABLE
