Just to clarify at the outset - this is not a review about the services provided by Troy Auto Glass but the place they recommended/referred me to - Elite Windshield Repair Inc. Now with that out of the way, this is what happened - I drove in yesterday to Troy Auto Glass with a minor chip (motivated by the many positive reviews on here) on my windshield wanting to get it fixed before it starts spreading and making it worse. They said the chip is too small for them to fix however this other place will be able to fix it for me and I should contact them.(pic 1) 1. I did so fixed up a time for today morning and showed up to the Suburban Chrysler showroom/service center - looks like the employees are running a side business of their own 2. I am not sure what I was thinking now but I had to get to work soon for a meeting and wanted to get this done with - so I thought I should just go with it 3. This was a really poor decision on my part since when I looked at the invoice (pic 2)there were no details (material/labor split) or even a business address. Also, in my head I had come prepared to maximum of 50 dollars but this sound too steep for me - but I had already charged my card by then. 4. For reference this is the size of the crack/chip (pic 3) that was fixed placed next to a quarter - this is finished work which cost me 85 dollars. 5. I tried to look up "Elite Windshield Repair" so I could leave a negative review however nothing came up on Google - consequently the only place I could let people know about it is here - if this place is recommended to you please do not use it. I would much rather have replaced my glass for about 200 through insurance than pay 85 out of pocket and I am certaintly regretting my decision. This place was not honest, fair or reasonably priced. I just want them to stop getting business/getting recommended by Troy Auto Glass.

0 stars is not available. One of the most incompetent companies Ive ever had to work with. STAY AWAY!! Ive never taken the time to write a review for anything, but I cant let others be mislead by this place. All seemed well til the day they were supposed to show up to do the work. Called me and asked if they could come an hour earlier, I totally agreed. Didnt show up early, but called 15 mins before their normally scheduled time to say theyre on their way....1.25 hrs goes by and still no one shows up. I call back the technicians number, no answer...called the office and apparently they waited for me at the wrong address and called the wrong number....when every other correspondence was with my cell number. Instead of owning the mistake and making it right...implied that somehow it was my mistake and couldnt do anything abt the complete waste of a day waiting around for them to show up. Needless to say, dont waste your time with this company. Im spending just a little more to work with a more competent place.

I needed to have the driver door window of my 05 Dodge Magnum replaced. They had the lowest price out of 4 quotes in the area. I called on Monday morning, dropped the car off at 9 am, they actually drove me back to my house, and they called me at noon that the work was done. Very clean work (they even cleaned the duct tape remains from my make-shift window) and very accommodating. I’m very anal about my vehicles and usually try to do the work myself because a lot of shops are either expensive or do sloppy work, but I give Troy Auto Glass five stars for the quality of their work, price, and service! And for the price, I could not have done it myself in such a short time... PS: You can get an instant quote on their website which is great for comparison, but in my case the price they quoted me on the phone was even $5 less than the online quote.

Sounds like they hire third party call service to handle appointment. Be careful about their phone appointment. You probably will get multiple voicemail stating total different things. First call, Confirmed with the first CSP on Friday appointment First voicemail, ask for address. Second call, confirm address Second voicemail, to confirm drop off time Third call, confirm Friday appointment, and need to call on Friday morning to book a time Fourth call on Friday, no time available, automatic rescheduled to Monday. Not even a sorry, staff being rude. Most importantly, quote. Offered 350 initially, applied coupon cut down to 314. The previous quote (2 weeks ago) was 270. My advice: stay awayyyyyy!!!!

Great to work with, fast service, kind staff. Got my windshield replaced after being hit by a flying object and got shattered on the freeway. They were the only location near me that had my particular cars windshield already in stock which was vital because fixing it same-day meant I wasnt car-less for work the next day! 4 stars instead of 5 because there were other service centers nearby that (if theyd already had my windshield in stock) would have waived the $50 fee so the window replacement wouldve been free (covered totally by insurance); if they had followed suit and waived that fee then Id have given 5 stars. But truly, solid work and nice staff.

Excellent experience! A rock on the road broke my windshield and Troy Auto Glass had it replaced the next morning. They probably wouldve done it the same day but my schedule was not as accommodating as their schedule was. They helped me file the claim and offered me at home or in shop service. The whole process was quick and painless. The quality of workmanship was flawless; looks fantastic. I hope to not have to have my windshield worked on in the near futre but if I do I will definitely go back to Troy Auto Glass.

Living in Michigan, with its ubiquitous gravel haulers, one gets to know windshield replacement service providers. Ive used quite a few, but Troy Auto Glass is my favorite. They are courteous and friendly. Their prices are excellent, their service is on schedule and their work has been impeccable. This week they replaced our Volvos window. They got the job done ahead of schedule and the work was perfect. There was even a can of glass cleaner waiting for me in the car.

This guys were outstanding! I had my drivers side window busted out over the weekend and the came to my office Monday morning to replace and repair it. They were almost half the price as safelight and were a lot easier to work with and way more pleasant I would recommend them to everyone!

Convenient.....since I was at work and could not drive the car, everything was handled over the phone including payment details ......left card in other wallet......all work at my job site and very thorough and inexpensive for an entire windshield.......cannot beat them or their techs!

I had used Troy auto glass once before and found my most recent experience to be even more positive.The work was done on time and they even replaced all the decals I had ( state park admission, others that I had paid for). I will recommend troy auto glass in the future to everyone.

They took the time to explain the process of replacing my windshield. They worked with my dealer to pick up my vehicle and performed the replacement as promised and on time. I found them to be courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
