This place seems nice, till they work on your car. My girlfriend brought her car in for an oil change and they over torqued her oil pan nut and then tried to blame her as if she brought the car in like that. Even though they told her the car wasnt drive-able???? After some long talks, they agreed to pay only half of the repair costs. She refuses to go back. Who breaks someones car and then blames the customer????????????? UNREAL! I bought tires and rims from Antioch Fast Tire just before her incident. I gave them a 2nd chance since the tires have a warranty and free rotation. They blew it. They over-torqued the lugs on the rims which resulted in a broken lug key. They gave me another for cost. Yeah...I paid for it. Now, once again, they over-torqued the lugs which resulted in ANOTHER broken lug key AND a broken post! The lug was on so tight that it wouldnt even work off the threads. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time a key broke. Not the 2nd time. I learned MY lesson, but they didnt. Does it seem odd that this place gets positive reviews, but then a local couple BOTH have bad experiences and wont go back? So whats the problem? Did they sell me crappy rims? Are the employees degenerates? This is why you dont bring your car to places like this. Youre better off doing the work yourself, because some of these guys just dont know WTF they are doing.

They will try to rip you off.i called fast tire for a estimate for a intake manifold they told me it would be $690.00. Ok i was happy with that price so i went there dropped the car off before i went to work. They called me at work told me it would cost $1800.00 to fix. When i asked why they went on to say i needed a tstat housing and water pump along with the manifold. Well the tstat housing is $30 at any auto part store witch i told them . Then they went into how much work is needed for the manifold and told me that it would be $1400. Just for that. What you guys gave me a estimate of $690 how is it double i asked. Then the guy said we gave u a estimate for that price. I told him that is the only reason my car was at there shop. He puts me on hold comes back with a total price of $1300 they just dropped 500 off and when i told them not to do the water pump and the tstat is only $30 they dropped down to 980. It took 4days for the job to be done bout 2hours of back and fourth to get the price down they will rip you off if they can BEWARE know your prices or just go to a good mechanic

I caught a screw in my driver side front tire. I came in to get the tire patched: $32. I show the tire to the 20-something year old service "tech" kid. He glances at it: I need a new tire! Now, I have been driving probably longer than he has been alive! I have had nails, screws and even large bolts embedded in tires in the past! In each case, I did not have to buy a new tire and they have held up for quite a few years! Immediately, he starts going on about estimates, and they can order my brand (Who doesnt carry Bridgestone?), etc. He starts going on about how it is a quarter inch too close to the edge of the tire and the patches are not very big (Funny...I thought tire patches were made of flexible rubber.) and then he uses a scare tactic: "I cant legally put a patch on that tire". Long story short: I went to their competition and got a patch for about $5 less. I give it 2 stars: 1 star for service, and 1 star for the effort put in for the sales pitch.

They may have a nice waiting area with TVs, computer, fancy coffee machine, and make you comfortable in the sitting area but low and behold this place is not as much as a sanctuary as it seems. Ive taken at least three cars to this place hoping it would be the right place, obviously its not. They are over priced and I might as well as search prices on the parts ( or whatever I need) and buy my own parts/ find a better, reasonable, honest mechanic (which its easier to find cheaper better parts online). I have taken my cars for alignments and they are not perfect, the cars are still pulling in one direction. The waiting times are unbelievable so if you have the time and a lot of money to spend to get your car fixed its well suited for you! Otherwise, overall, I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but I am not bringing my cars back here, their service is poor, they are not honest and Im finding a better place to bring my cars.

The service at Fast Tire in Antioch, IL was outstanding, it changed my disdain for car repairs; no longer will I dread going in for an oil change. Mr. Allan was beyond courteous and very pleasant. The waiting area is amazing, three different lounge areas, flat screen TVs, a coffee bar, and internet lounge. Even the bathroom was impressive with a high standard of cleanliness and flat screen TV! The shop was extremely "woman friendly," very comfortable and nothing like any of the other places I have been that are reflective of the dirt, grime, and smell of the work that goes on in the garage. I will definitely be going back to Fast Tire for any other service I need that they can provide. I will recommend Fast Tire to everyone I know.

GREAT SHOP! GREAT MECHANICS! I tried to get my car aligned at Pepboys, Waukegan Tire, and another mechanic but nobody could make it drive straight. The mechanic right away knew it needed a new camber bolt and to adjust one of the shocks. Then he aligned it like its a brand new car. Ive had 3 vehicles aligned here and they all drive perfect now. The mechanics here are very knowledgeable and thats what I want is a mechanic that can fix something right the first time. Plus the waiting area has 3 big screen TVs with cable, 2 video game TVs, comfortable couches, lots of magazine, and expresso machine. And if the shop says your car will be done in 2 hours, it will be done in 2 hours. Theres no better shop around!

I have lots of car experience, and have always found FastTire of Antioch a great place to do business. Reasonable labor pricing, and most maintenance/repair items can be resolved by their staff. Speaking to others who "can purchase that part for thirty bucks" but cant turn a wrench, much less buy one, your local mechanic (not just this store) has tens of thousands of dollars in that big shiny toolbox and another ten thousand dollars worth of training, education, and certifications. Tearing down an intake manifold on a 150k plus car is a can of worms at best. These guys only sell you what you need, Kevin does a great job taking care of me, my friends, and family. Thanks for everything guys!

Garbage people!! Dont take you vehicle here. Had work done at Dons Garage took it here to get an alignment because Dons Garage couldnt do the alignment that day and i really wanted to get it all done that day so i figured well i have heard good things about these guys lets go here.....well BIG MISTAKE!!!! They tried to say my tie rods were bad and two of my ball joints, knowing that was a lie i told them to forget about that. I waited a couple days took it back to Dons and all they charged was for the alignment because thats all that was needed to be done. There is so many crooks out here in Antioch, IL makes me sick! You guys dont deserve the one star it takes to post the comment.
