In Feb of 2015 I brought my 2002 Lexus in for an estimate on some rust that was pretty far along on the roof just above the windshield. My car is old and has A LOT of miles on it. First thing they suggested upon inspection was that the value of the car might not warrant the expense and offered me an opportunity to reconsider. Who does that? I had unbeknownst to them, gone to 3 other body shops previously, for the same estimate and all I got was: Yep, we can do that - and heres how much. 2nd thing they did was explain to me that this is a very difficult spot to treat... the rust will most certainly come back... and the windshield will likely break upon removal (because theyre glued in) - and they couldnt guarantee the windshield would come out in one piece or the rust wouldnt come back. In other words... instead of jumping on me with a quote, they counselled me on what would likely happen and how that would affect my finances - They gave it to me straight and then they stepped back to give me time and space to decide whether I wanted to take a chance or not. Who does that? After a couple weeks of chewing on this and after receiving a very competitive estimate, I elected to take a chance and brought the car in. Of course, the windshield chipped coming off. It wasnt bad and they could have covered it up and put it back in but the manager was concerned about the effect of heat and cold and felt that even tho the chip was minor, it was better to err on the side of safety. So he replaced the windshield at cost - which was well below the price they quoted to replace it if it were to break. They also touched up some rust by my rear license plate and replaced the screws (the old ones were dripping with rust) and they also buffed my headlight lenses - all at no additional cost. They told me theyd touch up the rust by the license plate for free, but I expected to pay additional for the headlight lenses. They did both gratus - and the lenses which were yellow when I brought the car in, were now clear again and looked like they were brand new. Net result... the job was perfect. The car was cleaned inside and out when I picked it up. I got a thank you card with a gift inside (Who does that!?) and I would recommend All Line Carstar in Bolingbrook to anyone and everyone. One last thing... Normally when you walk into a body shop you smell chemicals, paint, acrylic. When you walk into All Line, you smell potpourri - clear evidence that the business is owned by a woman... second generation... who has been involved with the business for most of the 25 years its been in existence... who is passionate about the customer experience... who spends 10 hrs a day in the shop, hands on... every day. The counter staff are friendly and caring and they have complimentary granola bars for their customers to munch on while they are there. You can literally eat off the floor in this place. You dont find many businesses run like this, with the kind of dedication to service and craftsmanship. Their motto is "Relax... Well take it from here". Next time you need body work done - from rust to dents and worse... Take it to All Line Carstar in Bolingbrook and then relax... Theyll take it from there. I read this over before submitting it and I know I sounds kinda sappy and like a paid correspondent or even an employee or a family member of an employee might have written it. I can assure you Im none of those (well, maybe a little sappy). I live in Bolingbrook and just lucked out. Im obviously a very satisfied customer. Thank you Louie Santiago, Mike and Courtney

My 2010 Lexus was unfortunately used by a young woman to help stop her vehicle on the highway causing damage to my rear bumper. Because my wifes Avalon was previously repaired flawlessly by this establishment this is where I took my car for repair. At the same time I also had some previous damage done to the front bumper caused when a piece of sheet metal was tossed up by a car in front of me also repaired. My cars paint is a light gold metallic and when all together it looks pretty good so I wanted to get that look back. When I picked the car up it looked brand new but when I got home it was obvious that the paint on the bumpers did not match. The bumper paint was more in the silver family instead of gold. I took the car back immediately and told them what I noticed and this time I parked the car in the shade instead of the sun where the difference was even more obvious. When the adjuster came out she called the production manager Mike to take a look. He agreed with me that the colors didnt match and we made another appointment to see if a better match in color could . I dropped the car off two days ago and picked it up this morning. Let me tell you, I defy anyone to tell me that the vehicle had any damage to it. The color match was PERFECT! Im writing this review because what this establishment did was the EPITOME OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! I didnt know what to expect because today customer service and satisfaction seems to be a lost art. Not at this establishment. A situation existed where I the customer was not satisfied and they Made It Right! How many places can you go to where your name is remembered and they strive to do all in their power to satisfy the customer? Not many I assure you. Carstar is one of those rare places that do. So thank you to Melanie, Courtney, Mike and Brandy who gave me courteous and efficient service and if you have the misfortune of vehicle damage in the future, Carstar in Bolingbrook is the place to go. You wont be disappointed!

Do most of the repairs to my car but replace the mud flap that was damage. So I called about then when down to carstar. Was told they forgot to replace so they would get it ordered. Received a call to say it must be a after market part because they received the wrong had me cone back so they could take a picture of it.still got the wrong then I was told Hyundai didnt make them anylonger so they would get it somewhere else I called today was told they ordered it on ebay but had no idea when it would be in. I said you dont have tracking information she said no its not her ebay account so she has no idea. I said well ok but I wanted a update. She then said she hadnt forgotten because the paperwork is in her face on her desk. She sees it everyday which if they would of completed the project a month later I wouldnt be waiting for the job to be finished. Very disappointed

My newer Audi A3 was rear ended a couple of days ago and when I went to my insurance company (Liberty Mutual), they referred me to two preferred body shops. All Line CARSTAR was one of the two and I contacted them asking for an appointment and checking if they work on Audis. I left a message but someone promptly called me back saying they would recommend me going to a certified Audi repair shop instead for my 2015 Audi! Further, Courtney wrote me an email stating the same. I much appreciate them being very upfront and honest about it. Although I will be going to a Certified Audi body shop for this repair, I will definitely keep them in mind should a need come up in the future for my other cars or my friends ask me.
