In April 2013 I had my cars bumper painted at Maaco. I was shocked at the cost of over $840 for just a bumper. Justin (Manager) said don’t worry my man (acting like a friend), any problems come back and we fix it for free. I said I just do not want the paint to flake off like it is doing now. He said he would use a flex additive and this is why the paint cost so much. When I got the car back it looked fine, but the cars fog lights were not working. Justin said, “We are sorry, but we are not mechanics and can’t fix the lights”. Then he said it looks nice right? It did, so I let it slide and had the wiring redone at a mechanic for about another $100. I was just happy to get my car back. Well it is now January 2014 and the paint is flaking off, showing the old paint underneath. My car was not even sanded, seemingly no flex additive was used and it looks horrible. I went to Maaco and spoke to Justin. He said it is not the paint it is the weather. He then said they do not warrantee our work and he would simply repaint for half the cost. I said you told me I had a warrantee and the paperwork says warrantee of "1-year full and 2 years proactive". He then said I hit snow or something. I said I did not and tapped on the bumper. More paint fell off from the other side. This place is horrible and I would "NOT" recommend to anyone !

Almost a year after I just got a brand new car, I stupidly backed it into a concrete light pole base, sans light pole, (this despite having a backup camera. It was too low. Wasnt picked up by camera or sensor and I didnt notice it) and did significant damage to bumper, including somehow putting a few large holes in it. Meanwhile, I had just moved to this area, so didnt know where to go and who I could trust to do a good job. I looked around, got a few quotes (including a ridiculous one from the local dealers repair shop) , and finally found Jatin. He immediately knew what needed to be done (bumper needed to be replaced), didnt try to upsell me on anything else, and had the best price of all the quotes. He said the new bumper could take a few weeks to come in, but it came in quicker than he expected and before contacting me he already had it painted up and ready-to-go. All I had to do was drop it off in the evening, and he worked with my schedule, and he had it back to me by the middle of the next day. To my eye, it looks absolutely perfect and the paint matches exactly. Its literally like new. All just a week after I found him. Not to mention they washed the car (it needed it) and vacuumed the inside, for no extra charge. Would absolutely recommend this shop and would go back (but hopefully I dont need to).

Justin at the Carol Stream Maaco was super helpful- I crashed my car on Friday, didnt know what I was going to do. My dad works next door and has done a lot with them, so he recomended them. I called them in Saturday morning while I was at breakfast with the boo thang, and he had his tow truck there so fast we had to cut breakfast short and race to meet the tow guy back at my house (He had his own tow guy so I didnt even have to worry about getting my car there). When we got to the shop, he looked at my car, and gave me a estimate, based on all the biggest things he might need to replace (which did end up being what I paid for the car originally, but that was only $3200) and said I could leave the car there while I made up my mind. I decided to stick with my car and fix it up, and Im glad I did. Not only did he manage to have it back to me in less than a week, when I got it, it was clean, inside and out; it looked and drove(!) better than it had before; and he even offered to buff out a couple leftover scratches nextime I was out that way free of charge. It also only ended up costing $3000, including the towing! Justin was super helpful and nice, and very easy to contact too, and my car looks great- Id definatly recommend them.

Very, VERY impressed with the level of quality that this body shop provides on their work. I took my Toyota Sienna to get some paint and repair work done on it. All other body shops were quoting me thousands of dollars on their estimates... practically half of what the car is actually worth, so it was not worth it. One of the shops, upon quoting me a ridiculous amount, actually referred me to this place saying that the price would be half or less. I was really skeptical but I went here to get an estimate as a last resort. Immediately, Justin took the time to really sit down with me and see where we could cut down on costs. He told me the exact parts to be ordered without any profit padded on it. Justin further told me how we could get away with "do this instead of that", thereby lowering the costs. When my car was all finished, I was AMAZED. The car looked practically brand new. I felt like I bought a new car all over again. For the price he quoted, the quality of work was supreme. I was very satisfied. I plan to go there again in the future. Justin you are awesome and I think you know that. Thanks again.

Today I picked up my 2010 Crown Victoria from Macco in Carol Stream. I have been working on a very unique project and I needed a little help with an entire car paint job. Jatin Patel the Manager at the Carol Stream Macco understood my vision of creating a Chicago Cubs Tribute Car, and help to bring it to life. My overall experience was very positive and Jatin and his team exceeded my expectations with both the work product and their customer service. This project required specific attention to detail and he did not only meet my expectations but exceeded them on all levels. Not only will I be returning to the Macco in Carol Stream should I need any further Paint work of any kind, I will be definitely recommending this location moving forward. Its not very often that you find an individual like Jatin who is willing to see a customers vision, support that vision, and help to carry it through flawlessly. Truly a great experience!!!

Excellent shop! I about gave up looking for a shop to paint my jeep roof. It was just the one part, the roof, but it was rusted all over. Other shops would not bother with it because it was rusted and they would not warranty it. Well I didnt even want a warranty. I know rust will return in a few years. I just wanted it to look decent for as long as I could. I just stopped at Maaco after work for an estimate and the owner talked me into leaving it right then. I said OK and he had a bargain rental car there for me in 10 minutes! I went on with my 2 day business trip to Wisconsin and when I returned my problem was gone. My jeep roof looked like new! They had to work around my windshield weatherstripping too which was not easy. Perfect paint match too. I got a very good price for any quality work, much less perfect. Great value and service.
