I went into the store to make a reservation to move a week beforehand. I need a 10 truck + auto transporter. The day before I needed the truck, they moved my pick up location to the middle of Chicago which is an hour way from where I live. When I called the Broadview location back and asked why I cannot pick up at their location, the woman said "to be honest with you we cannot just move the truck so its convenient for you". I went to U Haul on Kedzie, they did not have my U Haul truck or the auto transport ready and I waited three and a half hours to find out that the auto transport was not functional. U Haul does not care about their customers. Ended up getting a Budget truck with no hassle.

The Manager John was very rude and disrespectful. When I pick up the truck the gas tank was 3/4 full after I signed agreeing that it was full. When I returned the truck 24hrs later the manager began to tell me that hacwas going to charge me for 2 days because I inconvenienced another family. Then when I called back and spoke with the lady in the front (I beleive her name was) Candace, she began to yell at me and I asked why are you yelling she then said" because im not going to let you lie to me" then when I asked for corporates phone number she ignored me and put me on hold" NEVER AGAIN! I hope uhaul reads this and they take action on this unacceptable behavior.

Well, after a lot of mumbo jumbo we finally got the reservation, we went for the truck and said, the one truck we reserved, didnt have it and end up giving us a van. This is how it works, they put you in a list, and whomever is willing to pay more ( I assume on mileage, because the truck is flat price) thats the one gets the truck, attitude as hell in this place, dont respect on reservation. At the end they say, take it or leave it, we dont care, we can give it to someone else. I wouldnt recommend it, but, thats my story. You judge for yourselves.

Its moving day, so I called this place to verify my reservation. The dude who picked up was real rude, and told me that the truck I reserved back on August 18. He rented it out and they didnt have another truck. So why did a text come in for me to verify my reservation yesterday? This place is not good for uhaul....now Im without a truck today, and I have to drive 2 states away to finish my move....GREAT JOB UHAUL ON ON ROOSEVELT IN BRAODVIEW!!!!!!!!!

Over charged my credit card and told me to deal with it. Rented from here 3 times in the last month, needless to say never again. Initially gave my reservation away, then tried to double charge me when I returned the truck late.

The lady that answered could either not hear me...or I wasnt hearing her question, but instead of trying to be more accommodating and patient, she hung up on me. Nice way to treat your customers.

Pretty straight forward. Easy to get in and out of. Only issue I had was that the truck I rented had cargo light issues and there was less than half a tank if gas in it.
