ordered a washer, dryer & refrigerator from home depot which this place delivered & "installed". i use the word install loosely because at this very moment i am dealing with these people. my washer & dryer were poorly installed and pushed back to hide all the issue. Once discovered 1 day later. I call customer service, they send someone out but now are refusing to fix the problems that were caused in the original installation. they starting explaining that since we signed for it we must have been ok with the way that it was installed. reminder they push back the washer/ dryer to hide these issues. they installed the washer/dryer poorly by not putting a long end drain hose or water drain so now both are hanging on for dear life and look like they are ready to bust. the door on the fancy front loader dryer is hitting the sink because the short hose caused them to push it all the way to the sink. with all these problems the very worst part is the customer service with the supervisor/ managers over the phone. they refuse to accept that there is an issue. they refuse to take back the washer/dryers. they refuse to even find a solution to these problems. if you can help it avoid working with these people.

Liz Bower and Sue North were pleasant enough to deal with. We expressed concern over our piano and antique dresser in my daughters room that they be handled with care. She assured me they would. Of course accidents can happen, so we purchased insurance through them to cover such things. The crew arrived late to pack up and didnt clean up well, or handle our furniture with as much care as we would have liked. Then on delivery day we would told we receive a call to see how things were going; we never received a call. We discovered after the crew left that our dresser was damaged. We called it in that day (3/25/16)and was told to file a claim, which we did. Our claim was rejected due to age of dresser and they claimed moisture-which is crazy. We filed an appeal, to which they investigated further, and still came back to us with the same thing; they rejected it again. I dont understand what the point of their insurance is if they wont honor claims. Sean Weber is very difficult to deal with. Sadly, we would not recommend or use them again.

Glen Ellyn Mayflower is the worst Storage and Moving Company you can find. I had heard that before we hired them and I should have listened to others. BEWARE! THEY ARE HORRENDOUS - we had huge breakage and stolen items in our out of state move. No one returns your call after the move when you have issues and there are long and complicated forms to fill out to get any compensation for damage or loss. A new neighbor pulled up as the truck was unloading in our new location. He had a few words to say: "They are crooks and thieves - never work with that company". It was too late for us to follow that advice but not too late for others. I never take the time to write these online reviews but in this case feel that if I can save one other family from the disastrous situation working with this company then I have made a positive difference.

Glen Ellyn Moving and Storage provided installation of my new double wall oven. I honestly thought it was strange that a moving and storage company also installs appliances but I was told that Home Depot also uses this company for their installs. The customer service was spot on. I dealt with Brian, I was hoping for an install date (before my sons graduation) that was not going to work out for them, but instead he was able to get me one a day earlier with a guaranteed delivery time! He told me I would be the first stop at 7am, and three men were here with my spiffy new oven on time! They were all polite, friendly and neat. They even waited patiently a few minutes while my husband made some cuts to our cabinets to fit the oven in better. All went well from customer service to delivery and install!

My husband and I were anxious about our long distance move. Adrienne, our contact, at Glen Ellyn Storage put us at ease, gave us good tips for packing and kept us well informed during the whole process. Dan, the estimator, was pretty much on the money. Our driver, Greg and his crew were the best. Very nice, punctual, professional and came with tons of experience. Our belongings arrived a day earlier than we expected and were in the same condition as when they were loaded on the truck. Moving doesnt get better than this. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would certainly use them again.

In moving out of state I chose Glen Ellyn Storage Corporation Mayflower movers for my move. I researched their time in business and reputation prior to the initial assessment of my things being moved. From beginning to end the experience was cordial, professional, and one I could trust. What I liked most was their integrity and efficiency from start to finish. This move was stress free and my things arrived safely. I was very pleased with my choice in movers and highly recommend them to others!

Glen Ellyn Storage has once again demonstrated why we have picked a Mayflower rep for our Third move in the last 20 years. Great customer service, very responsive, fair and stable pricing with no surprises. The personal attention and concern for our property was top of their agenda. Hopefully our last move from Illinois to Colorado will be the last but if not, we would seek out a Mayflower rep very quickly.

I was very pleased with Glen Ellyn Storage/ Mayflower. I moved my one bedroom apartment to a house about 30 miles away. Decided to go with three guys for the move. All three movers were very professional and took great precaution at both locations. They were very systematic and did not take any breaks. They completed my move in less time than I was originally quoted. I would definitely recommend them!

Exceptional work done by all four guys. I had a big load (entire truck) and out of state move. They worked hard, were very careful and professional. . You could see the team worked well together. They made it so easy for me - I felt bad sitting there the whole day while they worked. Extremely pleased and if I move again, Mayflower will be my go to.
