We contracted Merry Maids to clean our new condo. They provided us with a quote for bathroom and window cleaning. They were only able to clean half the windows as they didnt have the right equipment. Annoying but nothing to lose sleep over. Obviously we contacted the main office to ensure that they only charged our card for half of the window cleaning balance. I couldnt possibly have forseen what a horrible experience this was going to be. They were petulant and hostile right from the off, even hanging up on us on several occasions. Eventually due to our persistence they offered a $75 discount (which was still less than half the balance) but even getting that was like pulling teeth. These people are an absolute disgrace and a nightmare to deal with. I really hope prospective customers will do themselves a favor and look elsewhere.

I cannot express how completely dissatisfied I was with this service. Overall, their basic service is not even close to the quality standards I would expect for the price they charge. Additionally, I needed to cancel one of the scheduled monthly appointments because I was to be on extended travel for work. They came anyway and set off the security alarm. The police came and I was fined. This happend TWICE! Merry Maids is an awful cleaning service provider. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Took 2 people 3 1/2 hrs to clean and 795 sq ft apartment that was already fairly clean and empty. Then charged $350 because they said we didnt tell them to stop cleaning after the 2 hr minimum. Very unhappy. The ladies cleaning did a good job, but they should not have taken 3 1/2 hrs for such a small apartment or should have asked about how long they should stay first.
